Went to have my vehicle inspected and the inspector said my headlamps that are after market did not have the DOT stamp on them but they clear had the stamp on them. Their new inspector is a moron and that is on dubs to make sure the inspector follows the rules and is competent enough to do their job. The is for wasting my time for the first inspection and again for having to reschedule another inspection.

My siblings have been coming here for years. I recently moved back to Corpus so went there for car inspection. The process was easy, just made appointment, ladies we very pleasant and friendly, service was fast. Definitely returning.

Had a routine oil change done on a 4 Runner. Service completed timely with no issues. Been taking vehicles to Dub's since moving to Corpus 6 years ago. Always friendly, professional and excellent service.

It s been over 13 years since I lived in the U.S. Active Duty US Navy & have been with family serving in Japan. One of the toughest things coming back is having trust in a good reputable garage. Super thankful for Bill & the Dubs team to have accepted my 64 Thunderbird. She an oldie but goodie and comes with 60 years of issues. I took my baby to get her brakes done. Dubs did there work and made her back the way she once was just like new. Can t say enough of the professionalism, character and craftsmanship of the staff and mechanics. I definitely have trust with this team and would recommend them to anyone looking for any job done right! BZ to a job well done!

I took my car in for a knock coming from the engine and was told it needs a full engine replacement at a quote for $20,000.00. They couldn t tell exactly what was wrong. Looking over the invoice it reads needs further diagnostic . I brought the car home and while getting it ready to take apart the engine, I found that my tire and rim had been damaged. I don t want to bad mouth a small and local business, but my experience with Dub s was horrible. I paid $135.00 for them to drive my car around, damage my wheel and tire and come up with an assumption. I ended up taking the car to San Antonio and had the engine replaced to less than half of this quote.

Outstanding customer service always! I have had nothing but exceptional customer care and service from Dubs Garage. Kiri always takes care of me! I even saw owner Bill Hardcastle when I picked my truck up! Great experience!

I will start this review off with some positives. The front desk staff are very nice. They also sometimes offer rides home when your car is being worked on. You also receive pics of the issues found.Here is the bad: I had my car serviced there in November 2023. At that time my car had the works done. New brakes, rotors, brake system flushed, manual transmission serviced, oil change, blah blah blah. Almost 4k worth of work. Since that time, my car has been driven about 2900 miles. Yes, only 2900 miles. 1600 of those miles were out of state. My car does not get driven far or frequently, maybe once a week.I took my car back this week and the estimate was for 1500. Imagine my shock when they wanted to service my manual transmission. AGAIN. 2961 miles after IT WAS JUST SERVICED!!! Usually they're not serviced until about 30k miles. The lady at the desk said 'the tech just added that on based on mileage recommendation, they didn't look back at your service record'. Ok cool. So you want to charge me twice as much (last service 11/23 was 125, now want 325) for a service that was just done. What if I never looked back at my last service record or remembered that it was just done? Did they even check the transmission fluid? Obviously not, because if they did, they would have seen the fluid is basically brand new. I would have been ripped off! That's cool! When I called the lady out on it she didn't have much to say.They also had an inexperienced person 'new to driving manuals' drive my car. He apparently thought something was wrong with my clutch. And my brakes too apparently. You know, the brakes I just had fully serviced and replaced less than 3k miles ago. Why on earth are you having a new manual driver diagnose clutch problems?! They don't know what normal and abnormal feels like! For what it's worth. I don't have clutch problems. No grinding gears, no issues shifting, my clutch has had the same engagement point. I didn't even take it in for clutch problems! Oh, and my brand new brakes work JUST FINE, I might add. They wanted to charge me 75 for clutch diagnostic and 75 for brake diagnostic. No thanks.They wanted to charge me over 300 to replace two radiator hoses (each hose costs about 50 tops btw). I posted the estimate on Reddit and the mechanics there said the industry standard time to change those two parts are 0.8 of an hour, and even if California wages were being paid, over 300 for that service was highway robbery.So, if you take your vehicle here, they will treat you nicely. It is to get your money. And they may duplicate services that are completely unnecessary and overpriced. Be sure to look over your service records closely to see if you actually need what they recommend.I would approach this shop with extreme skepticism when they make their recommendations. I would also double check their work before leaving. Last time, my door panel fell off and another piece had not been put back on before I even left the parking lot. I now have zero faith and trust in this shop. I will be taking my business and two vehicles elsewhere.

Absolute professionals and the most knowledgeable I've found in Corpus Christi. I have a 2016 Escalade with 140+ miles on it now. Last year they fixed the suspension and this year fixed multiple engine issues that others completely missed. It's running like new again.

I have been a customer of Dub's Garage since early 2000. Although I live 100 + miles away, this is the only repair facility I would allow to repair and service my vehicles. Bill, Kiri, Scott, Daphne and others are always top notch service professionals. The right place, people, service and price. You just can't beat Dub's Garage and the staff.

Thank you for your great service!!! We recently bought a 2016 buick Verano we noticed a noise under the hood they suggested to do a bumper to bumper diagnosis since we are getting familiar with our new used car they found a few other maintenance that needed to be done they gave me a fair quote and the job was complete in a timely manner they offered me a shuttle to and from the shop that was very nice I usually take lyft the staff was sweet I really liked how professional they are I will be back Thanks again for such great service my car is running great.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I took my car to the Autonation Honda dealership (srvc dept not recommended); they couldnt find the rattling noise. Called Dubs to schedule an appt, they got me in very next day.Everyone there is so kind, caring and considerate. They took time to find what was rattling and do everything they could to resolve the issue.That was my first time going to Dubs, and I will be taking my car there instead of the dealership from now on. I very highly recommend them.

In TX visiting family, battery problem, 2 others told me ok was charging but kept going dead. Dub's ran a real diagnostic test and found it was not holding charge and needed to be replaced.Timely service, friendly people. If I lived in TX I would be handing out their business card all the time.

Won't touch your car without doing a diagnostic and charging you for it, even if you already know exactly what service you want and just don't have to tools to do it yourself. They say it's good for the customer because the problem may not be what they think it is. I say it's good for their bottom line because they're getting money out of you while they give you a list of other stuff they'll probably want to try to sell you on.

Great people to work with. Very thorough with everything they did. Outstanding communications through the whole process and they were willing to work with my warranty company even if the issue turned out to be something that wasn t covered under my policy. Thank you Dub s, I ll definitely be bringing all my vehicles over to you if I ever need them serviced.

They wouldn't work on my vehicle, a Lexus RX350, because it didn't have the original motor. I specifically asked if they could do a head gasket replacement on a 2GR-FE (an extremely common Lexus/Toyota motor) and they declined.Not a problem, but it's literally the exact powerplant that came in the vehicle, it's just not "numbers matching."The service manager said that if I had brought it in, they would have run the VIN (lol really?) and found out it wasn't a matching motor.The response from the owner, below, further demonstrates their unfamiliarity with Toyota/Lexus motors.

Very professional service with a smile. I could tell quickly that they knew their stuff. I have a 2019 Audi Q5. Did not get good service at Audi in San Antonio, Dub's assured me that they would take care of me and they did. My Audi need injection cleaning and fuel line flush. The cost was a fraction of what Audi would have charged me and my Q5 now runs great again. Dubs will be the only place that services our Q5 moving forward.I have piece of mind knowing that Dub's will keep me running.

I have been going to Dub's garage for years now and always felt like my car was in good hands. Friendly staff and always happy to answer any questions (especially Kiri). Sadly, I am moving out of town and will have to find a new garage. Thank you everyone at Dub's! 10/10 would recommend.

If you find a good garage... trust your garage, and Dub's Garage is an excellent garage!I have used Dub's Garage for several years and recommend them to all my friends in the area. The service is excellent and their turn around time is great.They have helped me with swift, reasonably-cost, work on several occasions when I was in a pinch.They are quite busy due to their quality work, so I would suggest setting up an appointment then dropping your vehicle off the night before, if possible.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Air conditioning, Auto maintenance

Our Jaguar FPace started leaking coolant everywhere on a Friday, right before Memorial Day weekend. After searching online for a trusted mechanic, we chose Dub s. Luckily, the reviews were spot on! Staff kept us updated and provided an estimated time frame for repair. Vehicle was repaired quickly, despite the holiday. Can t thank them enough for such a smooth and painless process! Will recommend Dub s Garage to others and use them again for our vehicles!

I would recommend this garage to anyone I know. We were in Rockport visiting family and in desperate need of an oil change. Since there are no Audi dealerships near by, I found them online hoping they could help. I was blown away by their thorough inspection and report on our vehicle. The ladies in the office were knowledgeable, professional, and very helpful. If I ever need car service in that area again, they will be the only ones I call!!! I am a return customer to Dub's. Ever since we found Dub's about 5 years ago we always use their service for our Oil Changes and general maintenance although I have a Honda Pilot and my husband has a Ford F-150. We find Dub's to be very efficient, diligent and accurate in their service. The staff are caring and make sure we get the best service possible.
