Easiest car buying experience ever! I found my car online, applied for financing, transferred it to my local Carmax, all I had to do was go in, test drive and say yes. The staff at Carmax Corpus Christi are the best! I'd also like to recognize Matt from Carmax in Richmond, VA and Kathy from Georgia, for all the help online and over the phone to make the purchase of my car the easiest experience ever.

This was the best car buying experience I have ever had. The ease of looking at the vehicles, getting real life experiences regarding the warranty from associates was superb. Best car buying experience ever! Tony Saldana, Jr in Corpus Christi was my sales rep and he did everything fast and correctly. Carmax offered me the most for my trade in which was a 2019 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring Reserve. They were higher than Carvana, Truecar and all of the rest. I was looking for my fourth Mazda Miata since I had sold my last one in Salt Lake City, Utah before retiring and moving to South Texas. We did not want to move with three cars. While I was searching online on all of the auto sales sites I kept seeing this 2010 silver Miata popping up in my browsers and then in my email from Carmax. My first three Miata's were silver so I was looking for a different color. It was then that I realized that this 2010 had just 1600 miles on the odometer! Plus it is a different shade of silver, liquid silver metallic while the other three were sunlight silver metallic. I called Carmax and the customer rep put a hold on it. I then paid $299.00 to have it shipped from Garland, Texas to Corpus Christi, Texas about 380 miles. It got here in three days and Carmax called me and said that it was ready. This MX-5 looks newer than the first two new ones that I bought from a Mazda dealer. It must have been stored in an indoor car collection for 12 years and was rarely driven.. Carmax had replaced the tires since tires develop dry rot after so many years. Even the interior still smells new! I could not have found a better example than this one. As soon as we were done with the sale Carmax cut me a check for the difference which was almost $7000.00. This whole process toke very little time. Thank you Tony! Thank you Carmax!

The entire process was easy. I transferred a X2 BMW from San Antonio and took it for 24 Hour Test drive. it was not the car for me so I looked again and then I found a 2019 Volkswagen Arteon. Same price. It arrived in two days and after another test drive I decided to buy. No hassle, no fuss. In and out in under an hour.Any issues I had with the car were resolved under the 30 day warranty. Best car buying experience I ve had in the last 20 years

They went over the vehicle history. I was able to ask questions and request pictures before i had the car transferred. The transfer was way faster then they expected. The day i went in to buy pre approved i was out the door in an hour. They offered me more then anyone else for my trade. I would buy from Carmax again.

The process was easy and the selection of vehicles to choose from seemed endless. The pictures provided for each vehicle were detailed and showed just about every angle. The descriptions and features were informative and helpful in the selection process.The only negative for me is the process of calling and having a simple question answered. Unless you have an extension, which doesn't happen until further in the process, you are directed to the automated system which is time consuming.I have recommended CarMax to many people already! Easy process and every person I spoke with was professional, positive and expressed gratitude for doing business with CarMax.

Initially I thought this was going to be a great experience. It quickly turned into a massive confusing mess. The dealership is not organized, and no one knows what the other person is doing. No one checks the vehicle with you and makes sure that every feature is what you want/need. Then if/when you decide to exchange the car for something of an upgrade, the whole system just crumbles. They do not know how to process the return/exchange and they do not process the paperwork in a timely fashion. When you call repeatedly to try and figure out why the first loan has not been cleared, they give you some story that they will send the notice to the bank, but they don't. Eventually you figure out what to send to the bank yourself and get the loan cleared. The whole process was not a great experience, very little customer interaction and no help choosing or making sure the vehicle is really what you want. You are left to figure everything out by yourself.

LOWBALLED ME !!! Took my Truck there 2018 F250 with less than 15,000 miles on it. They gave me a real lowball offer, I left there and went to AutoNation USA they offered $ 7000.00 more "SOLD". True Story Folks.

Scheduling was easy and hassle free. No one was blowing up my phone nonstop and using app is very simple. Much easier to finance through CarMax then with a bank and paying online is super convenient. The associate that helped me with my paperwork was very friendly and informative.

A lot better than my LAST experience with CarMax. In 09, I had bought an '06 Saturn Ion from em that was absolute garbage from the VA Beach location. Wound up having to get rid of it 6 months later because it was soooooooo baaaaaaaaaddd. This car I just bought seems like it's in good shape. A LOT better shape than the Ion. I've avoided CarMax for years because of my initial experience. My siblings finally convinced me to take another chance on em. They seem to have straightened up!Sorry to post it twice, but I can't figure out how to marry the two accounts together. I have some followers, so wanted to make sure they got the review.

Excellent store and vehicle selection with a great staff, not to mention they beat every other offer around for my vehicle. Selling my car was a relatively fast and painless experience. There is never any pressure with the whole process. It does take a while but only because my situation was unique. Very friendly cooperative staff. Love the 30 day guarantee. Takes the stress out of buying the wrong car and being stuck with it.

I'm leaving a five-star review for the buying experience and for the service that I have received after the purchase. If I could leave a one-star review for the experience I have trying to call in I would. When I call the number I expect to get the store I'm trying to reach, not a corporate office nor the most unintuitive virtual assistant I've ever had to talk to.

My experience with carmax was way better than I expected. I expected the usual used care salesman blabber. I got none of that. John went out of his way to help me find a vehicle that I could get, and the price was much lower than I expected. All in All a very positive experience.

Unlike any car experience we have had. My brother recommended Carmax because he had a great experience. No muss no fuss no haggling. They make a fair offer and write you a check. If other dealerships start understanding this approach Carmax would have competition. But I seriously doubt that they will. Time seems to matter at Carmax and they don't waist time...
