I searched inventory on the Advance Auto Parts website and found the switch I wanted was in stock at this location. I went across town to this store and showed one of the employees the info from the website.We did not see the item out on the floor, and the employee told me it could be out of stock, in the back in a bucket, or just about anywhere.I asked if he had something comparable, and the employee told me he did not know if they were wateroroof or not, and I said, "I can look it up for you on your website. Then, the employee told me, "Just because you Googled it" doesn't mean the information is correct.So, I asked the employee if he could look on his his in store computer for a comparable item, and the employee said i"no", there was no way to do that.The employee then left me and went to stand back behind the counter with two other employees who were doing nothing but watching us talk. I was the only customer in the store. I smiled and said, "Thanks anyway," and left the store. This is the first and last time I've been in advanced auto parts and also the last.

The website experience was actually pretty easy, well done, easy to follow. However, arriving at store #2014 (6558 South Staples Street, Corpus Christi Texas 78413) was different. Joshua V. lacks personality, does not want to speak, and looks at you like you are bugging him. He does not look like he comes to work to WORK; more like a pretty-boy looking for his next date. He would speak to the other employee's, but would refuse to speak with me ABOUT THE PRODUCT THAT COST $300.00. I'm not sure why, but this location is terrible; I have visited this location many times, and each time has been a bad experience. Joshua V. gives you this attitude like you are bugging him and can't wait to get you out the door. He gives you your receipt and will just walk away. Does not explain the warranty, Core Replacement, or anything; I guess I just came to Advanced Auto Parts to buy a bottle of water with ice.

Went for a side mirror replacement that was knocked off from debris on the road due to co striction. The part was in stock and the worker was knowledgeable freindly and even put thepart on for me with a smile. I definitely recommend the Leopard St. location. I'm a happy camper

After Thanksgiving....older employee had to correct the younger employee that I was looking for a gas locking cap for my car.....NOT an oil cap.....younger employee kept pointing to different store areas when I asked for something....did not leave the counter area to help us....Definitely not coming back to the Staples/Saratoga location.....still poor customer service.....we went to O'Reilly's.....got good customer service, bought extra items, even got our Veterans discount.....spent $100 there, well worth itBefore Thanksgiving.....The men on duty never left the register....we were the only 2 in the store, and when I asked for help...one "pointed" to the location I needed, the other ignored me....I went down the wrong aisle....when we paid for the items we had, then, and only then did the employee "point" to the correct aisle for my needed item....again, neither male employee left the register area....neither male employee offered to really help....one stayed on his phone and the other walked away.....the only time we've really gotten good service was when there were FEMALE employees and OLDER employees....

Use this store very often. Reliable. There is a younger man with a beard named Joe. Calls himself average Joe. Extremely helpful, has looked at my car a few times and help me figure out the problem and how to fix it. Thanks!

This place has been my goto place to get parts ,oil, really anything. Go online and use the promo codes, and prices will be cheaper than anybody. Pickup I. Store, it's great. Fast and convenient. And these guys know what they are doing

This location is beyond helpful in a pinch. The staff is amazing and super accommodating. I'm so grateful for their help and fixing my dead battery. They do free diagnostic on your car, so they save you a dealership fee! Love this place. Bill is the man too. The whole team is great though!

Came today and Joe was very professional and installed battery in our truck in 6 MINUTES! This is AFTER we came from AutoZone on Airline who would not install battery because they said it would take 45 minutes and they had a 20 minute limit to install battery.THANK YOU JOE @ Advance Auto Parts for being helpful and willing to install the battery. That s how you run a business! Won t go anywhere else from now on!

Staff are always very helpful and knowledgeable. Store is clean and well organized. I always prefer to come to this store bc staff are helpful without making me feel stupid for not knowing a lot about cars. They answer my questions and provide additional information for me to consider. They know the products and can offer recommendations or alternatives.

So went in to this place to order a engine filter for my mother in laws 2008 Honda Civic hybridThe man at the counter seemed like he had a real ad attitude and seemed annoyed, I kindly preceded to order to find they didn t have the filter that I d have to order, the man told me next day in the morning would be here, so paid for my filter and waited, I did not get a phone call or anything, when I called back they said yep it s here like no way you guys could have called me such good customer service. Not going to this place would rather drive the 11 min to the autozone or orielys

I get all my parts here. The South Staples store is always clean and organized. Parts quality is good. If there's an issue, they'll swap out with another part to make it right.I usually deal with Rob, Steve, Colton, or Jesse. They're all great and very helpful.Look online for really good Advance Auto coupons. Also sign up for Speed Perks and Advance will send you either $5 or $20 off coupons depending on how much you spend. You can always get at least a 20% off coupon online. Sometimes 30 or 40% coupons are available.If you are a Speed Perks member, you can place an order thru the website and then use the online coupon as well as the Speed Perks on the same transaction. You can save a lot by doing it that way. Then you can either pick up your order in the store or ship it to your house. I've picked out items while I'm in the store and then put the order on the website for the discount. After a few minutes, the order pops up in the store computer. You sign a receipt and you're out the door with your stuff at a very discounted price.

The employees were very kind and helped me change my battery. It took less than 30 minutes and it was $200 cheaper than what the mechanic quoted me to do it. I would definitely recommend them

I purchased my windshield wiper blades at the Saratoga location in Corpus Christi Texas. The gentleman there was extremely courteous and friendly and helped me put them on my vehicle free of charge.

Customer service here was terrible a couple of days ago. I waited about ten minutes while two workers were on the counter and I wasn't even acknowledged. I was the ONLY customer there. I put my parts back and left.I just wanted to pay and get out. No questions or anything but I wasn't even acknowledged.I went to another auto parts shop nearby and what a difference.

if i could assign a negative 5 stars i would. They gave me a faulty part. i returned it and was given an incorrect part. Returned that one and the clerk gave me back $10 less than i paid for it

They are ok some one of the younger guy though he new more about car's than I did I've been doing mechanic work for 38yrs he was way younger than that.

Don't waste your time at this place. I've been there twice only to be redirected to another store across town only to discover the parts I was told were there...we're NOT. Go to Autozone...these stores have employees that clearly don't want to be inconvenienced by your needs....

These guys are here to help you get the right part or whatever need you have they never act like they don't have time for you unlike autozone. Always friendly and helpful, I go out of my way to come here.
