We were referred by my husband's friend . Unfortunately we didn't have a great experience. We were told on Thursday drop off car and they will look at it on Friday. We didn't get a call back, I had to call them. It was 4:30pm Friday afternoon I called them just to find out it wasn't transmission oil leaking they THINK it's oil. But couldn't be sure till Monday. Wasn't happy.Hope your experience is better than ours !

I don't normally take the time to do reviews but felt I owed Ace Transmission a good one! My father told me many years ago Transmission shops were more more likely to take advantage of customers than any other auto repair shop because transmissions are so darn complicated and the customer is somewhat at their mercy. I was referred to Ace Transmission by a co worker. It was a "great" referral ! Ace has worked on my truck twice now. They added a transmission cooler first time and went back about a year later to have u-joint replaced. Ace did quality work at a great price both times!! Thanks, Ace (and Pat)Service: Transmission

It is nice to go into an establishment and the organization puts the needs of the customer first. I went to this establishment because the dealership said I needed a new transmission. Not only did the Mitsubishi dealer keep trying to sell me a vehicle, but they used scare tactics to seal their deal. I got a second opinion from this transmission specialist and instead of telling me information that would veer me toward utilizing their services, they told me that their services were not necessary for my vehicle. They couldn't find a problem so they said if I have trouble again to come back and they would reassess then. If you need a new transmission mission, use this establishment. While yes they are in the business of making money, they won't lie to you to do it.

Had my truck towed to Ace about 10:30 this morning. They checked it out and it was a minor problem as far as transmissions go. It was repaired and I picked it up at 2:30 this afternoon. That was way faster than I expected.What I really appreciated was their honesty. They could have told me anything and charged me whatever...Good people..and that I believe is to be commended..Thank you Ace . I will always recommend Ace Transmission..

After taking my truck to ACE, they were able to tell me what the problem was and get it fixed. I was constantly called with updates on what the status of repairs was. The price was very reasonable, especially compared to other places in town. Highly recommend them!

I was referred by a friend when my 3/4 ton started acting up. I was treated very well and the work is top notch. I've put 900 miles on the transmission and it's worked like a champ! I'm very happy with the price and the work!

I thought I had transmission problems so I called them. They set me up for the following day and let me know it was going to be an all-day thing. Everyone I spoke to was great, all were friendly and very helpful. My problem was not as it turns out the transmission but the engine. They recommended an engine mechanic and he was just as helpful and friendly as they were.

Was in town for a funeral when I started having major transmission problems. They worked me in and able to fix everything to get me back on the road. They communicated everything and were very honest about the work. Highly recommend them!Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

This place is awesome. They tell you a price range of what to expect and then give you the low end of it when its time to pay and they call and make sure its ok before they do anything that you dont see coming! That way it's your choice. When you get a service done they don't just give you a short time and keep it a few hours anyways... they give you a safe time and then get it done earlier. Best transmission shop in Corpus. Love that they don't just try and take my money. They'll explain everything to me in a way that doesn't make me feel like they're annoyed having to explain it or like they're trying to make me feel stupid. Awesome people! I hope they keep up the good work!

Ace Transmission without question is the best, most honest, friendly transmission shop you will ever business with. I have been doing business with them for so many years, I can remember how long and I have always left as a happy and satisfied customer.

Well Mike when was the last time you changed hot tranny fluid? Its got to cool down. I had allen samuels tell me my torque converter was bad, 1500 to fix, took to ace and Lawrence checked it out all I needed was tune up. This is the most honest place on the planet my friend. Just had new transmission rebuilt in old used 2001 tahoe it took two freakin days not weeks. You must lead a miserable life. I am very experienced in mechanics and 59 years old and I know quality, honest work and I will stand behind Ace transmission anytime.
