I am so glad I got a recommendation from someone about going to this business. Not only were they friendly, professional, they were also very fair with their pricing. An even bigger plus, they explained thoroughly what issues my car had and how they were going to resolve it. I am a very satisfied customer and will remain a loyal customer if and when another problem arises with any of my vehicles. Thank you A&E. Y'all really deserve more than 5 stars!

I guess they got my tranmission working, but I had to go back 3 times because the seal in the bell housing they used kept blowing, creating a huge stain in my garage.Did a poor job with RTV sealing of the trans pan after I just did it, creating a leak there. They also touched the waterpipe without my permission that passes between the block and the intake that still has a small drip.They did a horrible rush job zip-tieing the wire harness to where the wire was hanging lower than the tranmission and rubbing against the frame in other places even though I SUPPLIED them with the appropriate ties that clip into the frame.They also turned my floor mat upside down instead of putting down a 20cent paper sheet and all the little gripping prongs on my floor mate were rubbed off because it's a 30 year old car and they're fragile.Maybe they're ok with trucks or something, but if you have a classic car, stay away from these guys.

Our transmission went out after my wife and kids had visited the Lexington on a Sunday. They didn t hesitate to come and pick the truck up, and kept us updated through the entire process! Truck runs great now!

My transmission needed to be repaired and possibly fixed and Mr Mando and his team definitely helped me out! They were not going to charge me 10,000 plus just to check and possibly fix my transmission such as the dealership. They were reasonably priced. Had a work van towed there on Monday at noon. Completely rebuilt the transmission and had it ready Tuesday evening! Where we took the last work vehicle, they did a great job, but it took over 1 week and cost several hundred more dollars. Great work, fast repairs and very fair price. This place is awesome!

Edwardo, the owner, went out of his way to take care of me. I was towing a camper 600 miles from home after 1:00 PM on Saturday and, although he closed at 2:00, he waited until almost 3:00 for me to get my trailer into an RV park and get back to him. He checked the failure codes and, since my truck was running OK with no load, he asked me to come back Monday. He put me to the front of the line and had me ready to go Wednesday morning. He wanted me to stay in town a couple of days to ensure all was well, but I needed to go and arrived safely at home. His caring, professional attitude was exemplary.Service: Transmission

I was down here for vacation from Oklahoma and my transmission coolant light came on. I googled transmission shops near me and there were multiple ones but I honestly picked this because my initials A and E. But to my surprise Mondo and his employees were very friendly and honest and very well priced. I feel like they are a must use if need for any kind of repairs. They definitely make you feel like family when you go there. If I am ever down this way and need work done I would only use them again. BEST customer service! I was so worried I was going to have to pay thousands for a new transmission, but Mando and Able explained everything in detail, got my repairs and my truck is running perfect again! Mondo the owner is a great business owner. He got me a quote on my repairs quickly and stuck by his quote even when the repairs took considerably longer then anticipated. Honest, fair, and personalized service. You cannot ask for more.

If you want your car fixed right at their estimated cost, A&E is the place to go. Their service and customer friendly attitude is a treat compared to other shops in the Corpus area who announce they forgot to include this or that when they gave you their first estimate and your bill is actually $200.00 more than the price they gave you. I highly recommend A&E Transmission and Auto Repair. They stand behind the quoted price they gave you.

I couldn't figure out why my 1995 Chevy truck kept dying on me, but Mondo and his team quickly diagnosed the problem (fuel pump), and had it fixed in less than an hour, now my old truck drives like a dream! I highly recommend A&E; they know their stuff!
