Rude staff! Will see you pull up and when they FEEL like doing their job only then they will come out and tend to you. Happened more than a few times. Lack of customer service.

Went for an oil change and discovered that they didn't even tighten the filter. So on my commute back and forth to temple I heard a noise and I had no oil in it. Almost blew my engine. Never again

Pro: The staff was nice and helpful and they did a good job getting tires for my camp trailer. (Only place I could find with the right tire and they re even open on Sunday so that s a plus!) They even balanced them and had a reasonable spot for me to park a 30 trailer for them to work on it.Con: This is probably the slowest tire shop I have ever been too. It took a half hour to figure out if they could even do the job, an hour and a half for them to start it, and 2 hours to finish. (That s 4 hours at Walmart). Don t go here if you are in a rush.They ll certainly do the job, and they do offer a good option if you have nowhere else to go on Sunday, but be ready to spend half your day here

I ve been a mechanic for 5years and I ve replaced a lot of tires. But I never took 2 hours on 1 tire. I came to Walmart because I needed a cheap tire that day since I was really low on money and my tire couldn t be patched. So I called Walmart and got a price for 1 tire. I bring my car there and walked inside. I wasn t expecting to wait 2 hours for 1 tire replacement w/ balance. I used to change car tires and it took me like 30mins to replace 1 tire and balance it. P.S. I don t work at a shop anymore. I m more of a mobile mechanic for simple projects

MOST SLOWEST PLACE IVE EVER BEEN TOO!! Not one car was is the oil bay, no cars behind me and they didn t touch my car for over 45mins- I had to go ask for my keys back and take it to the Walmart in Killeen! This automotive side should be shut down! Just ghetto and slow service ! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

Just got done getting taken care of by Kris and the shop manager, Walmart Automotive in Copperas Cove is quickly becoming my favorite place for my vehicle needs since I moved up here two years ago. Whether it's getting my oil changed, replacing some of my fuses (when my Christmas wreath was acting up) or just putting air in my tires during the colder months, there's yet to be a service they can't provide for me!

Sat for 2 hours only to be told they couldn't/ wouldn't take the wheel lock off. We asked before dropping it off if they would let us know if they were unable to do the wheel lock so we didn't sit there for 2 useless hours. So yeah needless to say the lady whom I spoke on the phone with was great everyone else had a bad attitude and was semi rude. So yeah discount tire got my business instead.

Sent my employee there with a flat tire for them to fix. They looked at it and told him that they needed a new tire. They wanted to charge him a high price compared to the tire that we had on there that we bought from them. We left and found it only had a bad valve stem. Make sure if you go here. you know how to fix your tire and let them know how to fix it they can t figure it out on their own.Long time buyer of tires from Walmart

The slowest place to get your oil changed! I ve been here on two occasions and both times I waited for 2 hours. Literally watched them walk around and drink soda for 15 minutes straight before noticing that I was paying attention. This will be the last time I deal with them horrible experience

Went for an oil change. They explained how their service works, what would be changed, and what fluids would be topped off. Everyone in the department was helpful and nice. Also got a bit of shopping done while I waited.

Ended up having a lot of oil leak residue, when I brought it in, the explanation was that the person who poured the oil made a mess. What I really suspected was that the person who worked on it didn t tightened the cap or the drain plug. I gave them 2 stars over all for the inconvenience and time. If I didn t caught it on the night of I would have ended up operating it with the leak. I will definitely do my own oil change from now on..

As always with Walmart in Copperas Cove you can never find anyone to help you find your products and much rather go up to clean where the store is clean organized in the people are nice

Give this place all stars!!! The employees here were awesome and very helpful. We ran into a problem when we came to a wedding and ended up having to replace our two front tires. Well this location did not have the tired we needed and there was some black friday deals going on, so our tires were out. Kris was one of the guys that worked in the auto center and he made a call to the other Walmart in Harker Heights, they had some tires in stock and told them we were on our way. He gave us paperwork to give to them to help everything go smooth for us. So yeah, customer service is a big thing for me and they went above and beyond in this service center!!! Thanks again Kris!!!

We were able to get tires for our four wheeler through Walmart.com and the Gatesville auto center was very helpful and put them on the rims for us. I had called other places and none compared to the prices. The service was fast and friendly at a fraction of the cost.

Came here early on a Saturday morning for an oil change and a tire rotation. They finished my oil change pretty quick. The problem is they have 2 different lanes for those 2 jobs. So once my oil change was complete, they drove it out of the garage and instead of driving it to the Tire lane, they parked it behind the garage and left it there. It had been sitting there for over an hour before I inquired about the status. When I looked outside, I seen it sitting there and asked them if everything had been done and they told me the tire rotation had not been done yet. I asked why my truck had been just sitting there and they had no answer. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! When I first arrived, there was no cars in the tire lane and only 2 cars ahead of me in the oil lane. IT DOES NOT TAKE OVER 2 HOURS TO DO AN OIL CHANGE ON 3 VEHICLES......PERIOD!!!! And the last time I came for both jobs, they completely forgot to do my tire rotation. I didn't think anything of it at the time, considering that they get busy but that was not the case today when I arrived. Very disappointed with the service lately and hope that the Auto Center Manager does something about this.

About two weeks ago my folks went to this location to buy two new tires for a 2008 Toyota Camry. Unfortunately they received awful customer service and went through hours of grief trying to get reimbursed for a lug lock key that the automotive tech broke from over torquing the lug on the rear tire. They blamed it on everything from the age of the car (10 years) to a faulty lug key and refused to knowledge any fault. They were unable to put on the last tire due to the broken lug key. When they finally agreed to cover the cost of the broken part in order to complete the job, they placed a regular hardware nut (not a lug nut) on the last tire, then made my folks drive around town to different automotive parts stores to find the replaceable lug key, which they could not find. I then got involved and spoke to the Assistant Dept. Manager James over the phone. He was very rude and was trying to say anything to get off the phone and to get my Mom out of the office. He then said that he would replace the locked lugs, which were only hand tight, with regular lugs. This was a lie, as I later found out that the regular hardware nut was still on one tire and the locking lug was only hand tight on the other tire. They even offered an easier solution to find the cost of the lug lock key online and subtract it from the cost of the tires as to save everyone time. However he refused this offered method. Aside from the obvious safety risks involved with the replaced nuts on the tire, or lack there of, this overall customer service experience was complete garbage. I will be posting this to any and all review sites as to hopefully deter someone from going through the same experience.

I went this morning to get my tire repaired, there was a screw in the center of the tread. The technician looked at the tire, not the area with the screw, and immediately said I needed a new tire. I told him I wasn't buying a new tire so I left. Then I drove down the street to Discount Tire and they repaired my tire without any issues, for free! They also rotated my tires for free. This saved me over $150. Don't waste your time at Wal-Mart.

Took my car to get a routine oil change. An hour and a half later I return to the desk to check progress and not only is my service not complete (or even in process) I was somehow jumped in line by another vehicle. I attempt to get an explanation from the lady at the desk and she proceeds to argue with me about how its not possible that a car skipped ahead of me in line. I explain that the car that was ahead of me is in the first bay and some rand car that appeared from outer space is in the other bay which means mine is still outside waiting. Well because I only had 2 hours for this to be done (silly me for thinking that was plenty of time) I go to the bay to collect my keys and car. Then one of the workers apologizes and says she has no idea where the mystery car came from. Huge waste of time and my oil still hasnt been changed.

Definitely do not go here for an oil change. It was a last minute thing for me and there was a lady ahead of me that had to come back because they drained her oil.. and didn t put anything back in. I was skeptical at that point but they already had my vehicle to change the oil.. so come to find out they completely ruined my drain plug.. the place I just went to had to break it off in order to drain my oil to get a change and replace the plug.

Most affordable oil change in town. Honest technicians. I bought an air filter to replace, but ended up not needing it. They were honest in telling me so. I appreciate that and will be back!

I pulled up to get an oil change 15 minutes before closing and I was turned away. There s no way we can start and finish an oil change before 6:00. Definitely not the best customer service experience.

Got an oil change and headlight cleaning. The work was done perfectly. Arrived at 9am and done at 2pm. Always love the staff. All local people that I know and identify with

I appreciate the people here and their prices, but the wait time is annoyingly long. I ll continue to come back since they do a decent job and it s 8 minutes from my house. They just need to seriously work on being more efficient.

Was having battery trouble. They conduct free load tests (battery checks) on your battery. The guy also told me that if you bring your vehicle in for a battery replacement that they will change the battery for free.

Good prices for the tires but the wait is too long, got here at 3:20 to get 2 new tires its 5:57 now and still waiting, and car not in the bay yet Hope they get it done before they close.

Don't be in a hurry if you go in for an oil change! I was first in line this morning and it's been an hour and half already. They need to change the name of their "pit crew" oil change. Ok, now it's over 2 hrs.
