I have been bringing my cars to Ruben for many years. My cars, my kid's cars, my mom's car, my sister's cars. He fixes them all for a fair price and I am confident in his expertise as a mechanic.

Found him 7 years back thro word of mouth in a local Coppell community event. I completely entrusted my cars with him. He was always fair to me and never did price gouging. Last month, I took my car to test the AC since it was not cooling and he quoted me 1500$ for new AC system inspite of a 5 year old Denzo compressor! I trusted him inspite of others quoting me 900$. He kept the car for 3 weeks and did not fix the issue. Also I had given car with full tank of gas and it was empty now! He slowly told me he did not fix the piece where hot air was mixing with cold air & he wanted to put a valve, but I was done with him. I forced him to return the car with old compressor and waited for 2 more hours, but he stole my Freon and wanted 150$ for filling the Freon. Ruben also enacted a big drama that he spent many hours replacing new evap coil, new valves and Troubleshooting the old compressor. I took the car to a mechanic in south Irving and he charged me 270$ and changed a valve and fixed leaks and he took 2 days and it blows cold air now with the old compressor! He also filled the car with Freon! Also the south irving mechanic told me the Evap coil, valves were all old and Ruben had lied to me again. I ve come to Ruben for several different issues and recommended him to others. I have been so grateful for his help. A good mechanic is hard to find. And he s more than that, he goes above and beyond! Excellent care and service.

Do you need an honest hardworking mechanic? Ruben is your guy! I was new to Dallas and needed brakes, shocks and a few other repairs. I was initially attracted to Ruben's by many positive reviews, and he lived up to them all! He was also extremely helpful, when both my catalytic converters were stolen from my truck by guiding me to the right course of action for the repair, even though he did not perform the repair. I have spent many years managing shops and mechanics in my line of work and I know the value of a hard working person such as Ruben. I went to Ruben's All Auto Repair last week for full synthetic oil change. Usually I go to Valvoline, Christian Brothers or a garage in Irving. If there is no line, typically they do it within 15-30 mins. Since I was in rush and would be travelling, Christian brothers did not have appointments. After reading the reviews I decided to go with Ruben's Auto. As soon as I took my car in, one of the mechanics started working on it. But when it was taking over an hour, I was not sure what they were doing. I saw the person who was working on my car and kept on going back and forth to the owner. For all oil changes, it should be drive in and out. Not sure what was the issue but it did not sound right, specially taking over an hour to change oil. I asked the mechanic to check brakes, tires once he is done but he said he would do that later. So basically he was taking over an hour for just oil change, not inspecting the vehicle.After the oil change, I came back home and my car was in the garage (my travel plan was cancelled) for few days. Later I found out that there was coolant leaking in the garage floor. It did not sound right, not sure if it was coincidence but I had a hunch that something happened during oil change. I opened the hood to see if there was any coolant and coolant was there. But surprised to see that there was no washer fluid. I was told that all fluids would be top up as part of the service and it was in the receipt as well. I was not happy at all specially when I asked them to top up fluids during oil changeTo give them benefit of doubt, I called Ruben and told him about the coolant leakage. He asked me to bring the car. I was ready to go to my garage where I typically fix the car since I lost confidence in them but I wanted to give Ruben a chance. So I took the car and after almost 45mins to 1 hour, they found there was a tube at the back of the engine leaking. They told me that it will take time to fix it but I was okay to wait few hours. Then they told me that it will take hours since they need to cool the engine overnight and suggested to leave the car and they would start working in the morning.I left the shop and went to the garage I usually go to. It took less than 5 mins to find out what the issue was and they also showed me the same tube at the back of the engine causing leaking. They fixed this under in 50 minutes. They did not give me any excuses that they needed to cool the engine overnight. While driving home, I called Ruben to provide feedback and update him that I would not be bring my car overnight. I told him that this may be a co-incidence that coolant leakage started right after they did oil change at his store but I would like to know why it was more than one hour to change oil and what issue they were talking about. Ruben got very rude and he hung up on me.I am giving 1 start not because they did something to cause leakage but because the way they handled the situation. Also they said they would top up all fluids and washer fluid was empty.I would never go to this business again and would not recommend their service. Last thing I would want is go to a business for oil change and come back home with coolant leakage and expensive repairs.Services: Auto water leak repair, Oil change

Looking for a mechanic??? I can say with so much sincerity that Mr. Ruben is a straight honest mechanic. A Very Knowledgeable, dedicated and reasonable person. We're so happy we found Ruben and his shop. I'm extremely satisfied with his work. Definitely, I Highly recommend Mr. Ruben for your car repairs.

I highly recommend Ruben and will be going back for every repair I need on my truck. The hub on my truck broke and Ruben went out of his way to make sure I was able to get it fixed and drivable as fast as possible. I had my 2 year old son with me, Ruben and his wife were very kind to him and even made sure he had a good time while repairs were being made. Ruben is honest, fair, and above all else very friendly and knowledgeable. I can not thank him enough.

I found Ruben online, and used the reviews to help make my decision. I had my car towed to his shop at 10am without prior notice and clueless as to what was wrong with it. He had my car ready to go that day and i picked it up after work. Very honest, reasonable and super nice guy... i will be going here from now on, thanks Ruben!!!

Ruben will always do right by you. Fair pricing. Good communication. Goes the extra mile to find the actual root problem instead of just a bandaid, or to find a bandaid that works for your budget if that's what you need. In general, treats you like family. You cannot possibly go wrong in using Ruben's services.

Ruben is an honest man who knows what he s doing. I recently moved to Coppell and had him fix the AC in my 2003 Buick LeSabre (was not blowing cold air). I will be referring everybody I know in need of auto repair to him.
