Wife heard a grinding noise and I heard $$$$ and hurt pockets.Made an appointment on Sunday night for Monday at 4. Got in about 15 minutes early, and by 4:15 they had me diagnosed. It was exactly what I thought it was.It hurt my pocket, but not as much as I thought it would.Jared took good care of me and made sure I got the premium service for me and my car and gave me the educator discount I didn't even know about.I'm glad I stopped in. More glad it's right down the street.Great service. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

Brakes Plus is a great service center for most maintenance/repairs you need. Needed a few studs replaced and they did it in a timely and professional manner. Highly recommend. Very good price as well

The team seems to have a good synergy with each other. Was thankful they were able to fit me right in for an inspection, oil change, and other general maintenance I've been meaning to do but couldn't with how many hours I work and distance I travel for work.I knew I was signing up for a long wait til services were done but it was much needed. Catching them on a Sat is perfect for me after work is done and when I have the time.

This is the best place in town to get your car fixed. CJ C. is the kindest man ever and will take care of you. I got my inspection and special work done on my car and I was in and out in under an hour. This team is incredibly dedicated to great service. Also Anthony is awesome and is the man for repairs! 5 stars!

I never have any issues at any of the City Garage locations. They are great for general maintenance. They are consistent and trustworthy.They have now been bought out by Brakes Plus. I like the new management and staff. They have a great attitude and demeanor.

I m long overdue submitting this five star review, but they did an amazing job taking care of us about a malfunctioning air conditioner. They started by targeting a simpler lower cost repair to keep our budget in mind, and they were very communicative throughout the process. Air conditioner now works great, no problems several months after the service. And their prices were very competitive.

Loved the service. I got brake pads changed and some brake pad dust cleared. Along with coolant work. CJ is the best, helped me out like a star. I definitely recommend this place.

Super satisfying experience with my brake pad replacement service. Great customer service and upfront, reasonable pricing. They will even give you a free Lyft ride to/from the shop. Highly recommend this brake shop!

I traveled to Dallas to see the eclipse and on the way up the front right tire was making a noise I had never heard before with none of the typical warning signs you get from brakes. Being unfamiliar with the mechanics in the city I first went to a Discount Tire to check the air and they recommended Brakes Plus. At first the brakes also seemed fine to them after a test drive but once they got the tire off it was very clear one caliper was stuck and drastically wearing the pads out uneveningly between the two sides so it needed to be replaced before it damaged the rotor and certainly wouldn't be safe to drive for the long trip home. They quoted me a price and I called 4 other places (Firestone-Coppell, Christian Brothers, Coppell Tire and Auto and my mechanic back home) and Brakes Plus had the best price hands down. It would have saved on labor to replace both rotors at the same time but that would have really increased the cost and I was happy there wasn't any pressure to upsell. CJ had initially given me a verbal price estimate and when I went back the next day to request a written estimate Jared honored the quoted price, the manager John approved it and mechanics Jason and Ronny did a great job fixing everything and were very friendly and explained everything clearly so I could actually see what had gone wrong-not all mechanics do this or as nice as they were. You'll have your choice of buying different warranties from 6 month to lifetime. I was able to travel the 5 hours back in the rain and terrible weather safely because of their repair and would highly recommend.

I ve been to this Brakes Plus location twice now, and both times I received excellent service! The front desk staff especially are so friendly and welcoming. This hasn t always been the case for me when I have to get work done on my car, so my experience here was a breath of fresh air! I will definitely be returning.

Got a full brake and rotors service on my truck. Explained the process all the way through. They also offer Lyft service. These guys took care of me with good pricing. They also sent me a free oil change coupon. Talk about tremendous service. The staff is friendly too. I highly recommend them.

Seth is always really good at taking care of what my car needs or diagnose what other repairs I may need. The whole crew is very good at helping out in whatever way is needed. Prices are very fair & they re quick at getting things done too!!

I received poor service from this provider. Initially, they only recommended a temporary fix without mentioning the need for additional repairs. However, after making a payment, they suddenly insisted on replacing parts. This lack of transparency and changing recommendations post-payment was disappointing. I advise others to exercise caution when dealing with this service provider.

I showed up today without an appointment and the staff helped check me in. They told me it would be an hour or so wait before they could get my car in, which I was ok with. During the time I was waiting I overheard CJ and Jared calling customers (one after the other). Their customer service on the phone was impeccable! I also heard the interactions with the customers in and out of the store, and again. F2F service was spot on! I'm saying this as a customer service manager myself! This is the first time I have been to a brakes plus store and because of their patience and service I will definitely return. Would recommend!

These guys are awesome. I brought my wife s car in with a damaged skid plate and they got me in quickly and removed it free of cost! That s how you get repeat business! They are now my go to for vehicle inspections, brakes, oil changes, etc. Hats off in particular to Mister Suave - Brock. CJ's customer service skills were phenomenal. CJ greeted me when I entered the door and addressed me by name thereafter. CJ also was knowledgeable and patient when explaining the issue with my vehicle. CJ further was respectful of my time. My vehicle was ready within the timeframe given. I will definitely recommend Brakes Plus in Coppell.

This location used to be excellent. I would make an appointment, show up and be done in an hour. Apparently making an appointment now is a joke. I showed up and was told they could not get to my car until tomorrow, for only an oil change and inspection. Such a shame.

Updating my review. In October 2022 I got a new battery here. In January 2023 it would not hold a charge and I was stranded many times. I brought my car in and they told me I needed a new starter and alternator. I told them to humor me and replace the battery which was under warranty. The car worked normally after. I did not need a starter or alternator. They gave me a defective battery. In March 2023 my check engine light when on and I paid $150 for a diagnostic. They told me I needed 3 new catalytic converters even though only 1 was the problem. The price for labor was ridiculous and they marked up the parts. I took my car to the tire store across the street and without paying for a diagnostic the Tire Store replaced my catalytic converter faster and cheaper. They also didn't try and sell me 2 catalytic converters I didn't need. After taking my 3 cars here for a year I won't go back. They changed management and claim all your prior records are gone.

My boss recommended me to go here for a state inspection for my moms car. Brock had me in and out under 15 minutes!! Whereas if I went to the dealership, it would have taken 3+ hours. Definitely going to keep this place in mind for future maintenance!
