I'm overjoyed that I finally got my car running after four long years. I had been searching for an NB Miata for quite some time when I stumbled upon one with a blown engine in Moneta, VA, for $850. I drove 4.5 hours to get it and tow it back home. A so-called mechanic friend of mine in Fayetteville, NC, offered to fix it for me, and I paid for everything, including towing. I just wanted a new engine installed to get back on the track, but he put in a bottom end, and the car still wouldn't run. He ignored my requests and handed it over to another person because he couldn't fix it. The second "mechanic" had my Miata for about a year, and when I finally got it back, it was still not running and was pretty much destroyed. I had lost hope in shops & people at this point.After my mom passed away at the end of 2021, I lost interest in the car, but I made a promise to her that I would get it running. I moved to San Antonio in October 2022 and brought the POS car with me, hoping to find a reliable mechanic. I was referred to Elite Performance, but they barely communicated with me and even ended up cracking my steering wheel. When I asked for a clear diagnosis, they couldn't provide one, so I decided to take the car back.I then found Yoi Kazoku and was impressed with their work. Although it took about 10 months, I was informed every step of the way. TJ was always very informative, never treated me differently because I'm a woman, and provided regular updates. Even though they had to fix others' mistakes, they did a great job, and I was overjoyed when I got home and the car was running. I can't thank them enough, and I kept my promise to my mom and that means the world to me. I'm sorry you all had to deal with the mistakes of others but I greatly appreciate you all!

I have been using them as my go to shop for my 370. They seem to be super fair with their pricing as well as just having the expertise of working with all the JDM market. I can say I've always been pleased after I leave with the work they have done.My car has been lighting up like a Christmas tree for months. I would take the car to other shops and the dealership, "Nothing we can do" No one could fix them. TJ called and said they're gone... Honestly I was super doubtful, haha. Well, driving the car for a month since and the lights are gone! What sort of wizardry is this???

This shop always goes above and beyond. They've worked on multiple vehicles of mine and never disappoint. Sometimes they get a little backed up but you get what you pay for, and its well worth the wait. Whether its performance upgrades, or basic maintenance theyve got you covered, honestly im super grateful to have found this shop. They give your ride the same care and attention to detail you give, definitely recommend you reach out for all your automotive needs. Very honest guys, top-notch work ethic, and affordable quality.

Awesome garage.These folks are up front w pricing and services included. They have done *a lot* of work on my Fiesta ST and I have never been slightly dissatisfied with anything they've done. Came for a custom alignment. They went above an beyond. Shared information, car drove perfect, very personable, and they full-on support the local(legal and safe)car community. Great guys, definitely recommend them. Don't hesitate to give them a call

From my previous 2015 370z to my current 2020 370z, these guys have been great these past years. I've tried other shops for specific jobs and gotten pretty bad, or average, experiences. TJ and Justin at Yoi really care about doing a good job with your car. I always bring in the highest-quality parts (suspension, brakes, diff, etc) and they do good work on installations. If you have a need with your JDM vehicle. This is the place to go. I've always had good honest interactions with all the guys there. You never have to worry about them trying to nickel and dime you. From basic maintenance to hooned out drift missile. They do it all, can't recommend them enough.

Mr TJ and Justin are the best to deal with. I had a car that was worked on by another local so called performance shop and they completely wet the bed on the job. YKM took this challenge head on with no hesitation. I really appreciate everything they have done for my 95 Maxima and will continue to use them and highly recommend them. Couldn't say enough good things.

The boys at Yoi Kazoku installed a fresh set of BC coilovers on my S550. They set the ride height exactly where I wanted it & the alignment is absolutely perfect. I went into this shop looking for advice and Tj the Co owner was real upfront with me! He gave me a great price on the work that I needed done on my vehicle. I had the opportunity to sit back and kick it with the owners and the mechanics, I had a great time hanging out with these guys and I felt at home at this shop. Yoi Kazoku is a very dependable shop to take your vehicle for repairs, modifications, etc. TJ was very quick to assist me with checking out the alignment on my '16 WRX, and even went as far as to not charge me as my alignment was already in specification. I will certainly trust them with my car again with whatever I need done!

This shop is nice! They gave me an estimate for things I want to do to my car . I need to save up a little longer but they gave me a fair price on my upgrades. These guys have lots of knowledge.

HONEST SHOP!!! These guys are BUSY, and for good reason; THEY ARE THE BEST!!! I took my 1990 Nissan 300ZX (my baby) to them for what I thought was an electrical issue with starting. Another shop closer to my home told me it'd be $300 to $600 just for an electrical diagnosis, repairs extra... I almost took it there because they had good reviews, and were close to home. I decided to make the drive out to Converse (about 25 miles) and Thank God I did! Upon initial inspection, thought I'd need a wiring harness. Electrical Diagnosis was $99, and they found the issue was a switch on my clutch pedal, and fixed it. $99 total bill... I decided to have it tuned up while there. I mentioned I had a few door dings I'd like to get repaired. TJ recommended a guy up the street who specialized in PDR. Had it done. Picked up the car today. Beautiful!!! Can't tell the dings were ever there. Starting issue gone, running smooth! I FOUND MY NEW "Z" SHOP!!! Wonderful service. TJ is a jolly guy. The mechanics are very professional. No BS at all. I came in the first time because I had an electrical problem in my '92 300zx. The mechanics found it swiftly. Took my Mustang there to have a Steeda rear alignment kit installed. I was a little concerned when I arrived and only saw imports but they did a great job, were very professional and efficient with my time.

Brought my import car here to be fixed. Was told $500 and 5 days. Took 21 days and the car is worse than before. Not exactly sure what I paid for but would not recommend. Kept hearing "worse case senario" on the next day it was due to be done. Also had an alignment done and now it pulls hard to the right.
