Overpriced, underperformance, extremely poor customer service, and theft.I paid for nothing; light still came back on, and I got my key Lock stolen here.Before going to them, I'd recommend reading through all the 1 Reviews.I had a tire pressure light and a service light on. After reading the first 5 star review, I was convinced to give them a try. After speaking with the owner over the phone about my concern, he never quoted me a "diagnostic price." Upon arrival at 4pm thats when the owner mentions, it won't be done until the next day. An important detail he could have mentioned over the phone. I didnt see anyone working and noticed on the website they close at 6pm, so i was unclear as to why it couldnt have been taken care of same day. When I ask what the quote will be he says he will GIVE it to me before you know it after a signature and print out later he HANDS me the itemized recipe and that's when I see $100+ just for diagnostic. Which I forgot to mention I had also handed him the DIAGNOSTIC I GOT FROM AUTO ZONE for free. I had to call into work the next day and stay elsewhere since I don't live on that side of town. The next morning after 10am I call for and update spoke with the same guy and he said "they haven't started on it yet." Based on the diagnostic price before they do anything tell me the diagnosis..he said "everything looked fine" I already knew they were going to take ALL day and I was going to be HANDED an itemized recipe on what is "WRONG" with my car. I go and demand to pick up my car he claims to have ran the diagnosis and found no error and says my tire pressure is fine. And they still needed to look under the vehicle for the complimentary service. He pointed to my car outside after paying and being handed the recipe. After asking him why it took this long to get a diagnostic he said "Mija, you're not the only car we have" I can see why a family of 4 that runs a family owned business can afford luxury vehicles such as a porch. Within the hr after driving off my tire pressure light comes BACK ON. I go to DISCOUNT Tires where they inform me that not only are ALL 4 Tires at DIFFERENT PRESSURES and I also noticed my KEY LOCK WAS MISSING. The experience was so horrendous at R.P.M I knew even IF I went back I wasn't going to get my tire key. So I purchased a new one from the dealership where I used to work at. My time working with Toyota Dealership for years gave me the experience to know great customer service vs greedy scam artists.Any deflecting reply from them should be a shameful embarrassment on their part. Acknowledge your error. I know I did; error in judgment.

Brought my vehicle to RPM Auto Repair for an inspection and asked them to go over the car and tell me what I needed done since it s an older car. They were well detailed in the work they suggested and provided an upfront quote. I accepted the work and was very satisfied with everything. Writing this one year later as I m about to take our car to be sold, it just bugs me till this day when I think about it and wanted to write a review of our experience.Last year around this time we went to get the car diagnosed and fixed after there was a weird noise on driver side. Long story short, the mechanic told us a week later that it needed to be fixed with XXX, but that it would in fact fix the issue. He quoted us $3700 and it ended up being $$4,200 when we picked it up. It was a lot, BUT, it was our car that we had only a couple payments left on and we had just moved. We were desperate and just wanted to not worry about it anymore. It did come with a warranty though so that made us feel better.A week later, still had the issue going on. We were bummed but hopeful because at least it had a warranty. We took it in and the guy said I d have to do another diagnostic but this time I d have to take the transmission apart . What. You didn t do it the first time? Whatever. He did it and ended up telling us that our transmission had issues and that it would need to be replaced. We had no more money left!! Had we known that it had not need diagnosed fully the first time, we would have never put that money into it. It s been sitting in our driveway for the past year because we were so torn on giving up our new paid off car and possibly saving to get it fixed one day, but unfortunately we need the money and are forced to sell it back to the dealership. I don t know how it s fair to charge someone that much and guarantee you found the source of the problem, only to have it not be the case, and oh well, we re out $4,200.He has great ratings, and I know things happen, but this was my experience and I wanted to share and get it off my chest. :( we have 4 little kids so that was a huge chunk of our savings and it literally makes my stomach hurt knowing we could have used it on a new transmission and still had our car today.

My father owns a shop in Oklahoma and he told me what was wrong with my car over the phone but wanted me to confirm with a shop locally since he couldn t check it himself. RPM diagnosed my car quickly and their estimate to fix my car was fair! Everyone was very polite, honest, and didn t pressure me. I ended up driving my car to Oklahoma so my dad s shop could fix it so I didn t end up fixing it here but I appreciate their honesty and kindness!

Do your research before taking your car here. I was told my engine was no good along with several other issue found along the way and still 7500 dollars later my car is running worse. I brought it back a second time about a week after and explained the acceleration issues my 2001 crv was still having. I replaced the 02 sensor and still had the same issue. Then I was told I would be charged more to find out what the issue COULD BE. I'm now taking it to other shops to figure out what is really going on, I don't trust this place after still trying to milk more money out of us with no clear solution.

I personally do not write reviews unless I use a business multiple times. Really glad I found this place. I was frustrated coming here because of a bad experience causing me to pay for the same work I already paid for. Everyone at this establishment was nice, professional and understanding. More importantly I appreciate the morality that s apparent and the willingness to explain everything. Thanks for good service!

RPM does excellent quality work with reasonable prices. They saved me $1700 for the replacement of my electric power steering system compared to what the dealership was going to charge.

I had Jorge change my transmission fluid and differential fluid in my car and he went above and beyond my expectations. Very professional, got the job done quicker then he said and also did a few other things he saw that were out of place on the car while he was at it. Excellent mechanic, very respectful and professional. I highly recommend him for any type of work anyone is needing done to their vehicle. RPM Auto has been my best experience to date above any other shop in San Antonio by far!

I brought my 2 vehicles to Jorge for inspection and repair and I was impressed and satisfied of the professional way he works. He is efficient, clean and always looking for the best for his customers. Not only he took care of the issues, but also he cleaned everything under hood and every part he took apart. Jorge is the very best mechanic! He's excellent, diligent & very professional. We needed a new motor for our vehicle. Jorge was very reasonable, kind, & compassionate toward our bad situation. He is very detailed with the work he does & will not cut corners to get the work out. Jorge is very passionate about the work he does to ensure you get the most professional work we have seen from any mechanic we have used. Excellent place to take your vehicle for all your auto repair needs!!! I was told to get rid of my BMW X5 because it wasn't worth repairing the transmission. Jorge does an outstanding job in making his customers feel like they are a top priority and every vehicle is worth repairing if you want it! Jorge is honest in all repairs and does not push anything extra on you! I was informed throughout my transmission rebuild and went back several times for other repairs and services. R P M Auto Repairs has your best interest in mind when it comes to your vehicle. I've found the best mechanic in the San Antonio Texas area!

Jorge is amazing! He worked so hard to get everything repaired on my 2009 Nissan Rogue.� When he found out I had to rent a car while mine was at his shop he spent extra time on my car so I wouldn't have to keep the rental too long.� He texted pictures of things that needed to be fixed and kept me up to date on cost. Once it was ready he showed me everything that had been replaced. My engine was so clean,� it sparkled just like my windows and tires.� I'm am so impressed with Jorge and now know why he has 5 star reviews.� From now on he's my mechanic and I will be referring anyone who asks to his shop.

I would highly recommend R.P.M. Auto to anybody. Jorge is a very knowledgeable and honest man. He reminded me of my son who always trys to to do the best for his family and works hard to accomplish his goals. He stayed even later than then closing to make sure my car was finished and cooling like it was supposed to. Me and my husband were very happy with his work ethics and the fact that he gave us discounts that he received for our main part which lowered the amount we would have paid. When we have any car problems we will definitely use R.P.M. again.

Great service here! I brought in my Chevy Cruze for an engine swap and Jorge did a nice job. Kept me updated and not only did he do that, but he informed me if and when things needed attention. Car has been running very good so far! I recommend this guy to anyone!

After years of going to Cadillac to have my vehicle inspected for a fuel smell, with the same results (we don't see anything)... I took my car to R.P.M. for a suspension job, and they found the source of the smell within an hour of it being there. Not only did Jorge and his team find the problem, they found many other small things that needed to be replaced (missing bolts on drive shaft, etc...). He sent pictures of exactly what he found, as he found things and asked did I want them addressed. He is a honest and skillful mechanic. My car broke down a day before I left San Antonio. I explained my situation and he worked on my car immediately to meet my departure date. He found the problems quickly and fixed them quickly. I am impressed with his speed and thoroughness of his work. He showed and explained to me the broken parts he replaced. I am now on my way to CA, I am enjoying the smooth ride without worrying it breaking down on I-10. Plus, he is military friendly and gave me great pricing even he knew I desperately needed the help. I took my 335i to R.P.M. to install a turbo kit, clutch, and fuel pump along with some other small maintenance things and Jorge went above and beyond on the work he did. I was missing several parts and Jorge was patient with me the whole time. The car came out great. Pricing is more than fair and he provides updates while he's working on the vehicle. I recommend R.P.M. for anything your vehicle needs done.

Had a nasty oil leak 1 day before a road to trip to a big wedding. Took my jeep over to Jorge around 1pm. Jorge is a very honest mechanic so he will tell you about all safety concerns he finds and sends picture updates during the process. Any family man can appreciate that.Long story short he finds the leak and a few other safety issues and had my jeep back to me by 8 o clock that night!! This guy is Amazing and passionate about customer service. Worked past closing time and we were very grateful for it. We live in New Braunfels and will always send our cars R.P.M.

I recently had the 60,000 mile service performed on my truck here after asking the day of if they could squeeze me in. Jorge gave me a text update on the status of my vehicle while he was doing the job, including photos. He used only the manufacturer recommended products for the entire job because he insists on doing things right. He even gave me a ride home so I wouldn t have to stand around waiting while the work was performed. I highly recommend RPM to everyone.

I received excellent service at RPM. Everything was done very professionally and very quickly. I got a great repair at a great price. I left feeling like I was a part of the family! I will always go see Jorge when I have an car issues!!!

Had to replace the AC on my CRV. Contacted 6 different shops. Jorge was upfront on what parts needed to be replaced in order to prevent any future issues. He was clear and honest with what parts he was ordering which were O.E. and the price. The total cost was comparable to the other shops which some were not using O.E. parts. Most importantly, when the repair was done and Jorge was paid in full, there was a defect in one of the parts. Jorge was quick to diagnose the issue, order another part, and replaced it. Most shops, once paid, take their time to honor their parts and labor warranty. Jorge is an honest mechanic, thank you for keeping your word.

RPM Auto repair did an excellent job on my 2014 BMW 428XDRIVE. Jorge has unparallel expertise on European cars with very competitive prices. I took my car in for control arm bushings upgrade and the work was done perfectly, now my car drives as it should be from the factory! Highly recommend this shop!
