I have had a few mechanics in the past, but this shop completely them out of the water. Genuine people who aren't just trying to make up some issues to take your money. Very fast, very professional and they take pride in their work. They've helped me so much with my truck and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg. 10/10 service and hospitality.

MBS is the most fair shop I have found so far in the SA area. I called and got an estimate over the phone. I dropped my car off in the afternoon and the vehicle was ready the following afternoon. It would have been completed the same day but I missed their parts delivery deadline.I unfortunately had some further issues one week after the repair but they took the car back in and had it ready the following day, the second trip was covered under their warranty. I highly respect that they made it right. I am thrilled that my car is back up and running 100% for a fair price. I had originally taken it to another shop and they wanted twice the price as MBS.I highly recommend MBS for their fair pricing, rapid turnaround time and friendly staff that kept me in the loop. They are also military friendly which is very nice. 5 stars for MBS!

Honest auto repair shop with decent labor prices. Came in for basic spark plug and ignition coil replacement and was in and out within an hour despite of them being busy. Will definitely recommend

Freaky fast! Got a tune up. Pick up and drop off were very seamless. Tune up was less than $100 because i bought my own spark plugs. Great place. Honest people.

I took my jeep in to get the 02 sensors replaced and we had a little headache. They were cross threaded from the factory and had to be cut out and weld in new ports into the exhaust. I just picked it up today and took a look at the new 02 sensors and everything and they did phenomenal! It drives like a new vehicle!

This shop is a great place to take your car for repairs. They had my car in and out within a day. the quality of work done switching out oil pans was top-notch.

Please avoid this shop, they will scam you. The mechanic miguel is a THIEF/LADRON-RATERO. I took my vehicle to get the AC inspected and miguel tells me it's the AC condenser and he states the repair will cost me $350. I decide to get a second opinion from Firestone and the AC technician at Firestone lets me know it's just low on freon and that there is nothing wrong with the condenser. Firestone Technician tops off the freon and the problem is solved. Now my AC is working perfect. Please avoid this shop as the mechanic miguel is a SCAMMER looking to STEAL YOUR MONEY. I will never take my vehicle here again, please don't trust him and this shop.

I was able to drop my car off in the morning and had it diagnosed and fixed in one day. I had the waterpump replaced for a reasonable price. I will come again.

Every time I stop and have work done on my vehicle, the crew did an awesome job, and fast too. They order parts after inspecting the problem. Both my daughters have gone here as well, and we all feel MBS has been fair, knowledgeable, and pricing was very affordable.

They are a good place to take your car to get work I took my car because it was overheated and the ac it took them 3 times to get the ac to get it right but and 2 times to get the overhead thing right but they let me use a car for meanwhile, my car was in the shop

Love this shop! If I could i would give it more than 5 stars! I am not from Texas but have family here and from the moment they recommended this place we have never gone anywhere else when we are around! Their customer service is amazing and the guys do their best every time we go! You can tell that they care about their customers, and my favorite is when we went last year and an older guy helped us, sweetest guy ever by the way, and went beyond what he had to and made sure everything was in tip top shape before we came back to Oklahoma. When you find yourself an honest mechanic, you hang on to them like the precious they are -and that s exactly what you ll find here at MBS Auto. Miguel is definitely a mechanic you can trust. So, here s what happened: a while ago, my AC stopped working. In August. In Texas. Not very ideal. It wasn t too bad when I was going 70 mph with the windows down -but when you re driving down 1604 or even worse, 410 during rush hour, you re lucky if you get above 20. So it was pretty imperative to get this AC situation taken care of. Now, I brought it to MBS because the dealerships were booked til mid-September and I definitely couldn t wait that long to have my car blow cool air once again. Thus, I brought my vehicle to MBS based on the good reviews it had and boy, am I glad I listened to a bunch of strangers on the internet. The mechanic did the diagnostic check which said there was a problem with the Thermostat and thermostat housing assembly. What I really appreciated is that the good people at MBS checked every other possibility before just changing out the thermostat. They checked the wiring, the ac clutch relay and other things -once they ruled out every other possibility, they changed the thermostat. Now you need to bring a hoody if you wanna ride in my car, cause it gets so cool. They also gave me a fair price for parts and labor. These people are trustworthy and do good work so if (god forbid) any other problem with my vehicle, I m taking it to MBS. Screw the dealerships who will charge you for the diagnostic check alone.Service: A/C installation & repair

Update: MBS contacted me and fixed it. It's now quiet and done right. Bravo to the management to actually correct the problem.I dropped my SUV off with a leaky muffler and exhaust joints. I talked with the owner and explained that I wanted new pipe from the Y back, a quiet muffler, and a nice exhaust tip. I got a quote and set up a time to drop it off. I dropped it off, chose my tip and requested 2.5 inch piping. I ended up with a exhaust that is cobbeled together with different pipe sizes, a muffler that's louder than it was with the exhaust leaks. But hey at least I got a nice exhaust tip for 400 bucks...Service: Exhaust

The evening before I had to drive to gulf shores Alabama for my wedding, my car started making a loud sound. I was convinced the front passenger wheel was going to fall off. Thankfully, I called MBS with tears in my eyes, I have to leave to AL tomorrow at 6 am, and my car is making a loud sound. It was 3:30pm and by 4:30 they took my car back and fixed it within a half hour. They even let my take it for a test drive, to ensure I didn t hear the sound. It was affordable and just needed a little welding under the car for $75. So thankful!! As long as they continue to take care of my car, and not screw me over (like many other auto shops do) I will be a loyal customer, referring friends/family!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I stopped by for quote and was really impressed by the owners knowledge and humbleness. I will recommend this shop to anyone looking for someone honest and not trying to extra charge for stuff you don't really need done to your car. Thanks to this shop I have a little faith now that not all shops are bad. I really had a bad experience by shops previously. Thanks Miguel and I will keep taking my cars to this shop

I m gonna have to move down to a 3 star, I ve never had any issues with Miguel or anyone who has ever helped me with my vehicles at mbs! But unfortunately I went in for an oil change a week ago or less and I m not to sure who did my oil change for me but they forgot to put my oil cap back on and all my oil burned out on my 2006 gmc yukon 1500XL . I m a little upset about it but I m sure when I go by and tell them about the issue they ll make sure I get taken care of but other than that they ve done fine by meServices: Exhaust, Oil change

After recently buying a used vehicle we took it to MBS Auto and they looked over the vehicle and told us what repairs would be needed. They were very honest and even though we decided to hold off on the repairs since they weren t the most urgent repairs (and were quite expensive) they did not try to force us into getting the repairs done and even told us what to look out for since we re not repairing the vehicle immediately. When we are ready to get the vehicle repair we will definitely be heading back to MBS.

I went to this place they fix my freeze cap and my holes on my truck it wasn't bad it was a good price I'll go back to do my lineman next week good workers they listen to you what's wrong with your truck car tell you don't take that long to be done you out the door I like the service you. that look at TV they got bathroom for their customers nice place to be at truck car they fix it for you. Wonderful Hispanic crew. Young and hard working. Miguel the owner. Took 19 year old van in for brakes, tune up couple years ago and recently 2 engine mounts. They close at 8 pm but worked on mounts til 9:30. Said either finish that night or added work next day. Very dedicated. Next is transmission and 2 week down time. Very satisfied with all their work.

The staff here are absolutely amazing. We ran over construction debris on I-10 that instantly killed one tire and made another one untrustworthy. It was 70 minutes before closing and when I called, they confirmed they had the tires we needed and gave us the info of a nearby tow. The car arrived at the shop 45 minutes before close and they had us taken care of at an extremely affordable price before closing time.I cannot recommend MBS enough. If we didn't live in Houston, I'd come here for everything.

I went by one evening asking about the noise coming from under my engine. The guy quickly new what was wrong and gave me a price and time if repair right there on the spot.
