Owner drove my car after some work was done , it got wrecked into at a gas station while he got coffee he didn t call cops, didn t make a report, couldn t remember the exact gas station for insurance purposes, claimed he had insurance to fix it, he did not. That was confirmed by my insurance. So i paid my deductible to have my car fixed somewhere else. Don t go here! The owner didn t even tell me it was damaged til the next day, when i was heading over to pick it up.

Called up U&A and spoke with Uriel. I wanted a spicier exhaust sound. He advised me on options, the cost of each route, and was plainly an awesome guy. He knows he stuff and the rest of the staff was awesome as well. Highly recommend his shop and services! (they do many services btw, not just exhaust). He straight piped my Infiniti Q60 beautifully with brand new tips too! 1/3 the cost of any market bolt on system.

I have a 2010 Kia Soul that had what felt like a demonic possession. My taillights and brake lights would sporadically go out and come back on .The dash lights would blink with my turn signals and/or my hazards and my radio would just die completely or reset my preset stations and clock when it felt like it. I obviously had a short somewhere and I was dreading taking it in bc not only are they darn near IMPOSSIBLE to find (I am an electronics technician so I do know this), but can REALLY be expensive but before I ran out to buy a new car, I decided to try and get it fixed I tried Cowboy Kia and they wanted $215 JUST to diagnose the issue and then that money would come out of labor if they fixed it . Ouch. So, I decided to try a place near my work. U&A Automotive not only didn t give up or charge me a diagnostic fee they found the problem! They did all of this at a reasonable price, too. felt so good after getting that fixed I had them replace my whole suspension system! I feel as though I m driving a brand new car I will forever be a customer.

Between my wife and three kids, we have serviced 8 different cars over the past 10 years. Uriel is always very fair and his prices are the most competitive in the market. He knows what he is talking about and isn't trying to 'pull a fast one.' Spent over 2k here on my vehicle the last time I went. The car wasn t fixed. The same issue kept popping up. When I went back to get it fixed I was told there was nothing they could do about it. I was well within there warranty, yet nothing was done. I was told I could leave the car and that I would be charged again. Which wasn t what was explained to me prior to getting my car fixed.

Wow, wow, wow! I am so happy with the results. Brouht my car in for an exhaust tip installed for my BMW from a dual tip to a quad tip modification and installation, let me tell you, it is not an easy task to even fathom of trying to make everything fit perfectly and vacuumed tight, but man, did they make it happen. I will tell you this, I don't believe there's ANY other muffler shop that would go out of their way to try and make miracles happen but these guys, their work is exceptional. Oh and the staff here is also very helpful and understanding of your needs. Do I recommend them?, let's just say I put compete trust in them. Thank you U&A for your awesome workmanship and service.Pricing? Get your prices up front, I can't complain, they did miracles for me so yeah I pay a little more than the average Joe, but then, you definitely get what you paid for and I have no problem with that.Pay little for below average job, or fair for an awesome outcome. Had a mid pipe fabricated and 02 bung installed in my truck. Excellent work was performed in a timely manner. Will definitely be back for any exhaust work.

I came in to get a quote the day before yesterday. The gentleman made a phone call and came back with a quote of $220. I called the day before to see when I should come in and let them know I had the freon. They explained that some will be removed from the bill because I am bringing that in. The next afternoon, I bring the car in and let them know the quote. For them to say they miss quoted me. The gentleman that quoted me so happened to be in the office. I pointed him out. They still did not honor their quote. The gentleman understood and explained to me what the quote included. But the excuse I get is that he must not have called the right person. The rate increased last year. How is that my fault?!In the end, they did notify me of a part going out and the price for their shop to fix the issue (ac compressor). The rate is not the issue. I will not continue to go to a shop that does not honor their word. In my eyes, the rates are always subject to change, and that is not good business.Good luck to any all customers!Plus, the receipt I got for service does not even match the shops name. The receipt says Gonzalez mobile repair.

Paid 900 dollars for tips and an exhaust that is not straight pipe or anything you can see that it's uneven ask yo line it up with the license plate and got it way too the side I wish I could give 0 stars.

Like the other bad reviews, I do not recommend going here. I don't know what time they actually open but it's not 8 am. I was at the shop for my 8 am appt but the mechanics showed up 20-30 mins late. No one with managerial authority is at the shop, myself and the mechanic spent hours trying to get a hold of the manager with no answer. They tried to charged me $883 for a $450 carburetor but I managed to argue a couple hundred off. I wanted to bring the part in myself as I could get it for $450 but they said they couldn't give me labour and parts warranty if I went that route. My van broke down later that day and wouldn't start. The shop and the manager wouldn't answer my calls for return my messages so I had to go to another shop to fix the work that this shop failed to do.

Called Them and they were very helpful over the phone. Explain to them what I was looking to get done. and He was very knowledgeable on what I was asking for and said they would love to help me. Awesome. Owner very friendly and relatable. The crew working is awesome and friendly. They took me in last minute to do a muffler delete and exhaust tips + resonator delete (replaced with x-pipe) and knocked it out. Very friendly and knew exactly what was needed to get my car s ac up & running again. I'm new to the Conroe area and a friend recommended this place to me. I have a Dodge Grand Caravan that I use to transport my handicapped daughter. He treated me right and they were as quick as could be. The gentleman was very nice. I highly recommend this place. Thanks for your help guys. You made my experience extremely easy.

Updated review dropped my MIL vehicle off to be diagnosed Saturday before Thanksgiving last night at midnight get a call from Conroe Police a mechanic was driving her car with a messed up radiator and catalytic converter. Really who does this!!!!Honest and quick. Best part they don't talk down to women!

I went into the store with the expectation like most shops I was going to get charged a arm and a leg for getting my car fixed let the person who helped me, I believe his name has Uriel, what i need. He let me know exactly what was wrong with my vehicle. My check entine light has been on for a month or so. He told me exactly the issue, & how much it was to fix it. I was in and out. Left my vehicle for a few days and the next day, he let me know what was the progress of the vehicle. I got my car back in a very timely manner, WITH NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT!!! It was the best service I could have ever asked for! Thank you guys!!! I will definitely be back!Service: Transmission

I don't understand the negative reviews at all. They quoted me a price range and stuck to the LOW side!!!!!!.How often does that happen...Never! Usually when I am given a price range it always ends up being the high number. They were 100% professional, didn't try to sell me something I didn't need, kept me informed of progress, and the office staff was very friendly. I am so happy that I have found them....they will work on all my cars. Todd...Mustang

Where do I start? I took my car here hoping to give these people a chance. I turned my car into the place in May and did not receive it till the summer was over, around September when I finally got my car back, it seemed as if the car had not been properly assembled back together. A girl had hit me on the back side of the driver's side, hitting the area of where the gas cap is located, right after I received my car back, the engine light turned on along with a gas cap message... after not having my car for 3 months the last thing I wanted to do was send the car back to be held another 2 months, fast fwd to march and the gas cap light is still turned on. Initially I didn't think it was a serious problem until I went to go get my state inspection done, only then I found that I would have to ditch out $900 to fix a problem they did NOT correct even though they were being PAID. I highly DO NOT recommend coming to this place. On top of being fed lies every week that my car was going to be ready, it never was ready, and overall it was just an unpleasant experience. I have also noticed that people who are friends with them tend to leave good reviews on google. But I wouldn't trust it so much.

The service seems responsible, for certain vehicles and associated issues. But I was disappointed to discover that good intentions resulted in catastrophic electrical damage to my Mercedes sprinter van. It would have been appropriate to indicate to me that he wasn t capable of the repairs before insisting that he was qualified & experienced. Really messed up the electrical and eventually had to sell, as is .

Worst mechanic shop I have ever encountered in my life everything started off great the mechanic Jeff pinpointed my issue just by listening to motor so I thought I left my car in good hands man did that turn out to be the worst mistake I ever made with my car!!! That call me 2 days later after dropping it off that they can t find the part dealerships are even on back order so I ask if I find my part will it be warrantied and was told yes it would be since they couldn t find it so i found a manifold amd turbo on eBay ten min after they claimed part was nowhere to be found!! Waited 8 days to arrive to me I bring part up to shop and drop it off took 3 days to install manifold amd turbo after dropping off part!!!!! Finally get the call car is done they test drove it and it s good to go!!! This was on a Thursday evening I get home notice car is making same noise so I let it sit for the weekend had a business meeting in Houston that Monday morning so I bring car back asking if it s supposed to sound like it did amd was told right away somethings wrong to leave it amd that it would be covered u see warranty engine was ideling so rough it was practically shaking the car so I leave it again to be serviced under warranty like I was told well 3 days go by not a call text or nothing so I show up right before there closing to see when my car will be ready amd they claimed a bunch of quit walked out on them and I can see why people quit like they did but we will discuss that fact in a min they tell me my brand new turbo is defective amd it ruined my cat converter so I needed cat and turbo and they were only gonna charge me 600 after the 1300 I paid them already to install n�w turbo and cat converter which was 2 grand for that part!!! I go back to try to see if we come to an understanding amd why do I have to pay another 2400 on top of the 1300 I already paid amd the mechanic wanted to take me outside to fight yes to fight me because I was questioning a 2400 dollar charge for more work when the turbo should of been warrantied on labor!! This gut was screaming at me he was very rude and hostile!! So I took my car to barsch auto and darrin there was straight up and told me to take it to his friends shop hpc performance he didn t want to waste my time seeing as I got screwed out of 1300 already from these clowns!!!! They didn t replace the oil like to turbo so the turbo got so hot the bearing fell off and destroyed a brand new turbo because there lazy and didn t replace hoses!! Hpc replaced coolant hose to turbo amd oil return hose on my turbo that I had to rebuy because of laziness and incompetence on U&A automotive employees!!!! Would u take you re car back there after all that no I spent another 1600 at hpc they notified me that water pump was bad as well amd needed for turbo U&A never told me about water pump they wanted a cat converter put in u see the difference in shop standards and pride in work already!!! Then I m at oreillys earlier telling them about this and they proceeded to tell me that U&A has several bounced checks with them amd they will no longer vendor parts till U&A pays them so u can see that once money is paid at U&A u will never get it back even if they blow you re motor up eff u pay me!!!! Very shady business practices up there and my payment went to a Gonzalez mobile phone not U&A automotive so that tells me they messed my car up pocketed that money obviously amd tried to burn me for another part that wasn t even needed!!! My attorney will be getting all my money back from them and they will be paying 3 times as much as they tried to charge me!!!!! This is a very shady company with very shady people take you re car to barsch auto talk to darrin he will even tell u he gets a lot of work from them screwing people over and will do u right and fair unlike these clowns here!! Simple turbo and manifold job cost me over 3 grand cause of incompetence and lack of knowledge pretty much they don t what they re doing!!!! I love this shop. They are family owned and operated and don't sell you a service that you don't need. They kept in constant contact with me and where very professional. I used to only go to dealerships for all my repairs but now I have found my new home for auto repair. I am usually a very non trusting person but like their website says they truly do make you feel like part of the family!
