I don t normally write reviews but this is so horrible I feel I must on October 11,2023 I bought my Ford expedition in to have the caliper,brake hose,brake kit and brake fluid replaced! They told me it would be ready in a few days around 12 pm. I was at work so I showed up at 3 PM and the lady upfront said that it was fixed, but it had to have the owners stamp of approval and needed to be test drive by him so come back at 6 pm I thought that was strange but whatever I showed up at 5:40 and I waited around for about 15-20 minutes and I kid you not. He pulled up with all of his kids in my truck. I believe he used my truck to go pick up his kids from school. I still decided in my head I m not gonna say anything and just never go back. A few weeks later, I was driving down the road and I broke down at a Whataburger off of Rayford and sawdust. I was so upset that I broke down that I had my truck towed to Katy where I normally get my work done and come to find out the caliber bolts were barely screwed in, and they did not seal the bolts properly, and that s why I broke down! I called Mario s and spoke to Javier the shop manager he said why did you not have it towed back to us? I said I did not think it was the same issue that I just fixed. He said well you will covered on your parts warranty, but I was told that there s no way I would be covered because it wasn t the parts that failed. It was whoever fixed my truck and the owner that gave the stamp of approval supposedly! The shop I had it towed to fixed it for free, and I just asked for them to pay the tow bill since it was their error. Javier stated that he would get with the owner and probably get me a check out and I just need to send him the receipt which I did for the tow bill. He had the nerve to ask me why I had it towed to Katy! It shouldn t matter where I chose to have it towed. I had no idea that it was the same issue that I had just fixed. Well, let s just say quite a bit of time has gone by and they decided by ignoring me that they were no longer going to do anything not even pay the tow bill. I paid $540 bucks just to brake down again!! Anyone thinking of using them should just go somewhere else and save the hassle! The time I spent was just as frustrating and it s definitely not worth it just go somewhere Else

Me and my husband have brought several vehicles here, Mario s Auto Repair did not fail to exceed our expectations every single time! Not only do they have fair prices but they are very nice people. Highly recommend them if you need any type of mechanic service!

Was recommended by another mechanic to fix a brake pedal issue last minute. Ashley and Tony didn t hesitate and got the job done . They were awesome and they are now our new mechanics!! Thank you so much.

First couple of times I had a positive experience (reasonably priced service)The last time I used them (Mario no longer spends his time at this shop - its run by someone else) they totally ripped me off. Took the car after we agreed on an estimate and supposedly did additional work (without informing me). Total cost was almost double of what was estimated. Stay away from these thieves.....

Came here to have my bumper and splash shield repaired, a week or so later I was driving on the highway and the splash guard fell of and started dragging on the freeway, I tried my best to push it in and go back for them to look at. All they did was blame me for the damage saying that i ran over something when I clearly didn't! Don't blame the customer for your half-a work. I paid the amount you told me, so why botch a repair? I took a 14 escape it took a full week for the vehicle to diagnose. It can not get more domestic than that with a ford. They change parts that were not needed and charge for it, I end up spending more than 500usd and the car broke down in less than 30 days for the same problem. Obviously i have to take it somewhere else as I could not have the vehicle for weeks stop for a diagnosis. The other coments stated their prices were affordable, well there are not.

Mario is my go to guy, he has been my mechanic for three years. I have never had a complaint very good with customers and reasonable prices. I will recommend him to anyone. Miguel his shop manager is an awesome mechanic and person love these guys to pieces. CHECK THEM OUT!!! It will be worth it.

Had my SUV wheel bearings replaced at this location and Mario did a super job. Thank you Mario and your team My SUV runs and sounds 1000 percent better, after more than two years of battling with this problem, spending money trying this and that, and told it's this and that, Mario went straight to the source. Sevice, price and professionalism is above awesome. Hope I found my new, go to first, mechanic shop.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I had rat damage to my wiring and other parts. NO telling what a dealership would have charged. Mario was very reasonable and gave me a quote ahead of the work being done. The Toyota dealership wanted $1,200 to replace my alternator. Mario did it for $450. I highly recommend his honesty and work.

I highly recommend him. He is honest and he charges reasonably. I have a Honda Accord 2013 Sport V4.a couple of weeks ago, my car would take 2-3 tries to start until it eventually failed. I took my car to autozone and they tested my battery to see what was wrong. They said my alternator failed so I took my car to his shop, wanting to replace the alternator, but he said it is not the alternator, the alternator is fine. He found out that it was the starter. He fixed it in a day and my car starts like a brand new car.I would definitely use his shop again.

I've had him fix two A/C in both of my cars, and never had a bit of trouble after, I trust no one but him for my A/C and will not use anyone else unless I'm broke and can't afford it. He is the best.

My 1999 Maxima wouldn t run. Two other shops told me the repair would cost over $3000 and no guarantees that it would run again. Mario said he would check it out for $65 and would check it thoroughly. He called me only three days later and said it had a short in a wire from the alternator and the repair would cost only $250. Mario was a man of his word. A rare quality in mechanics. I have found my new go to mechanic and I highly recommend him!!Thanks Mario.

I used to think an "honest car mechanic" was an oxymoron. My husband brought our 2012 Kia Forte to Mario about 2 months ago and, after our first experience I knew we would be back! We recently brought my mother's Honda Civic and my husband gave Mario a list of what needed repairing based on another shop my mom had taken the car to. Mario called my husband today to inform him that one of the most expensive parts on the list didn't actually need to be replaced. We had two mechanics go along with that list but Mario, being the honest person he is, told us what actually needed to be replaced and what didn't! Finding this kind of honesty is extremely rare. I hope this man never retires because we don't trust any other mechanics!!The guy on here with the bad review has to be talking about a different place so please don't even take that review into consideration!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment

My car is getting up there in mileage. I contacted about 4 different mechanics and the lowest price for a tune up was Mario's automotive. Mario was able to take care of my car quickly and affordably and additionally took care of an oil change and did that in addition to earn my business. It means so much to have a mechanic that you can trust that is honest affordable and loyal to customers and I will definitely see Him for any needs that I have from my car From now on.

Walked in off of someone recommendation to fix my son car,I was first ignored when I came in,3 workers present,then one addresses me, I asked if they can do work on my car, water pump,he acted like he wasn't familiar with 06 dodge charger,then I asked if they could put the car on the machine to diagnose any further problems, again he acted like he had no clue what I was talking about,stating if it gives him codes that's only way he knows what's wrong. If you don't won't certain business from certain customers just post a freaking sign and save me time from entering your business. I will spend my money elsewhere.

Mario's Auto Repair is the Best Car and Truck Rehab Center in SE Texas. Vehicles come in sickly and weak, are being treated and come out as Healthy, Happy Vehicles.Their owners develop a big smile on their face when reunited with their treasured wheels, for Mario saves them big $$$ !!! He makes Top Quality Work affordable to all.Speaking for myself: All my cars are in Mario's care for routine upkeep, completely trouble free and without repeat issues. Thank You Mario !

Dealt with Mario. He was very professional & explained the issues thoroughly. Pricing seemed fair. It's been about 3 weeks since he serviced our Envoy, & it's been running great since! I'd recommend.

Great mechanic. Will fix your vehicle right the first time and in a fast time. The price is very reasonable. Also will explain the problem with the vehicle and show the damage part if you want.

Everyone is so nice and efficient at at this shop! I've been to different shops and I just love how everyone is so attentive here. Plus the prices are affordable! Not mention there's this beautiful girl there, she made my whole experience even brighter. Honestly I'd go there even if their service sucked just to see her!

Took my 1993 chevy Silverado to them they put a distributor on it .then the truck was not running right still took it back left it almost a week.finally called them.they said it's ready.I get there and the driver's side door has a dent and the window wouldn't go up and the problem is still going on after all that time.no one wanted to own up about the dent.they wanted me to leave my truck with them again
