I would highly recommend Barsh Diesel. I had a code that could ve been very serious, they not only found the problem but turned out it was very minor. They could ve told me it wouldn t been thousands but it wasn t. I will definitely use them in the future for my Ram 2500. Had my truck in and out in a matter of days not weeks. Randy talked and listened to my concerns and did a great job. More than 5 stars in my opinion is warranted.

Very professional and patient. They took time to explain to me everything that was being done to my vehicle in a way that even I could understand (I know nothing about vehicles).My car has been fixed with no issues. I've found my new mechanic.

Took my vehicle down to have the error codes read, not only did they mess that up but I got a lot of unrelated body issues and my lightly used breaks and new suspension turned bad while it was not running...And somehow the only error code was a soft code I already knew about and they proved with codes that people at O'Reilly's are more competent, but they don't do diesels. And I was told my vehicle needed to be put back to stock. Unfortunately I don't want that and they don't make stock parts for it anymore.

If you want great and friendly knowledgeable service go no where else but Barsh Performance Diesel and Towing. I was having fuel issues with my F-250 that no one could figure it out but Barsh Performance Diesel worked hard and got my truck running like new. Randy went above and beyond and took care of all the issues without hesitation. Christian wasn t hesitant to get my vehicle towed to the shop so it could be repaired. These guys are people you want to call friends and definitely make you feel at home. They are knowledgeable and keep you updated. Decided to come to Barsh performance to get my truck worked on due to the fact I was involved in a wreck and upon walking into the shop office I explained the issues I was having with the truck and the group of mechanics and managers Ben, Randy, Austin, Josh and Brayden were very knowledgeable about what may be wrong with my truck and gave their feedback on what they could do to help fix it and overall they were just quick to offer their assistance and offered to keep the truck over the weekend to give it a thorough diagnosis. And then Ben went the extra mile to offer and help give me a ride to a local rental shop to get a vehicle. Overall this business went above and beyond to help and assist me with getting my truck fixed. I couldn t say thank you enough for the solid and superior customer service provided and I can t thank Ben enough for going the extra mile to help take me to get a rental car. I appreciate this business and would highly recommend this business to anyone that needs their diesel vehicle looked at or worked on.

Need some steering components changed out on my ram 2500. Had both items replaced in less than a day. Prices were fair. Staff on location contacted me and provided me with updates as to when the work would be done. Incredible customer service. The owner is kind and generous. Professional. And the manager/mechanic is down to earth and competent. Accidentally put gas in the diesel, and they took care of it fast. I'm recommending this place to all my friends and family.

I came in this morning without an appointment to get a headlight replaced. Not an easy job based on the one needing to be changed. I was in and out in less than an hour. The guys were friendly and service was great! We ll definitely be back!

We are from out of state and we're camping at Lake Conroe when our truck just died. We called around to a few shops that couldn't get us in, Barsh was next on the list and Randy was kind enough to get us in and start looking at the vehicle the next morning. Being an electrical issue I was fearing the worst and the repair to be very costly. Randy graciously dealt with my daily calls asking for updates. They were able to quickly diagnose and repair my truck which turned out to be much less severe than I was fearing. Randy and the staff at Barsh are first class and I highly recommend them.Service: Electrical

I brought my truck to Barsh diesel back in February. It had a high pressure oil leak that would cause the truck to have a no hot start. My truck stayed there until around mid June. In those 4 months, I received maybe 1 or 2 calls with updates, both of which were calls being returned after I called them to find out what was going on. On June 10, I got fed up with how long it had been taking and the lack of communication on their end, so I reached out to the owner. He assured me my truck would be top priority and apologized for his guys not keeping me updated, stating the manager doesn t handle confrontation well and didn t want to tell me that they hadn t finished my repairs yet. Within a week, I was told all repairs were made and the truck was returned to me. I paid somewhere around $3.6k at this time. Upon picking it up, they informed me that the oil was getting way too hot and we should keep an eye on it. We asked if this would effect us hauling a trailer, which is what we used the truck for. They said it was best not to haul and that they couldn t do anything. We just needed to watch the temps.I was annoyed that they were basically returning the vehicle unfinished, but they said nothing could be done, so we left. We drove the truck 3 miles and stopped at a gas station. Mistakenly, my husband pumped gasoline, although it didn t matter much, because the truck wouldn t restart anyway. We called them back and they met us at the gas station. They said the truck not starting had nothing to do with the gasoline, that it was because of the oil temps that they had told us about just a little while earlier. They said they would take it back to the shop and fix it (even though they just told us there wasn t a fix for it). They used starter fluid and got the truck running and said they would drive it back. We voiced concerns about that truck being driven with gasoline in the tank, but they assured us that driving it that little distance wouldn t make a difference. (Other mechanics have told us different since.)The truck sat there for an additional 2 months. This time when it was released, it came with an additional $1500 bill. We got the truck home, it ran for a few days before dying in the middle of a road, mid drive. I reached out to Mr. Barsh again and he told me everything would be covered under warranty. We were told repairs would take around a week. It took about 3.It was released to us for the 3rd time. Less than a month later, it broke down mid-drive again, just as it had the last time. Again, I called Mr. Barsh, this time I was pretty angry. At this point, I ve spent over $5k on repairs and my truck had been at their shop for almost 7 of the last 8 months. Mr. Barsh wanted me to bring them the truck because it was covered under warranty. He said he wouldn t want me to pay for repairs that should be covered under warranty. I told him that honestly I didn t trust his mechanics. It was released 3 different times and still hadn t been fully repaired. What good is a warranty if the proper repairs aren t being made?We researched and found a different diesel mechanic in Houston. There was still a high pressure oil leak, the original issue we brought it in for back in Feb. This mechanic had it repaired with 4 days. Because of all of the times it broke down, he test drove it over 100 miles to make sure there would be no further problems. It s been running great since. We paid an additional $2400 for repairs, repairs that we already paid Barsh Diesel to do.I truly tried giving Barsh the benefit of the doubt. After it being there a while, I had other friends reach out and tell me they had terrible experiences there, but I really wanted to believe they would make things right. I will say, Mike (manager at Barsh Diesel) & Mr. Barsh were very polite, however polite doesn t fix the situation. I would not recommend Barsh to anyone. I hope they get things figured out and provide better service to their future customers, but I definitely will not be trusting them with anymore vehicle needs.

This was the best experience by far with any shop we have ever been to regarding our vehicles. Dealerships will rob you blind! Barsh Performance Diesel works on more than just diesel trucks. They did an amazing job with our Nissan Armada. We will return should anything else need fixing. I highly recommend them.

Took truck to them and they said they found problem, told me what it was . i found part and gave to them . they had me up and running in 4 days start to finish 1 day waiting on parts. well done. took truck to GMC dealer Wiesner with same issue and dealer could not find problem, so much for GMC dealer Wiesner knowing what they are doing. great job guys and thanks againService: Engine repair

Cheated my husband out of money, took forever and problem still was not fixed. Also kept an expensive part that we paid for. Claimed they were returning it to get our money back or a replacement part this was 3 months ago we still havent seen the money or the part and any time we ask we get a different excuse. Unless you're looking for an insurance claim DO NOT GO HERE**EDIT** People, don't give a place your buisness that bashes and lies on their customers rather than trying to get to the bottom of accusations.Their response is the biggest lie I have ever heard we have every single receipt and can prove we owe nothing. And we STILL NEVER GOT OUR PART BACK OR OUR MONEY. They probably wouldn't even know us if we walked back in but they claim to know we owe them money? Prove it, because I know we can prove that we don't.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Highly recommend. Honest techs and A+ service and work on all gas and diesel vehicles. Easy to communicate with about diagnosis, receiving updates on the repair, and when the vehicle is ready for pick up.
