This was a great place to stay The cabin was comfortable and had a home feel to it.. All appliances worked just great. The only thing i see as being a preference thing is the bed in cabin 3 is soft, if you are use to a hard or stiff bed could be a thing for some people. The cabin is walking distance from river huge plus in my book. Loved this place we will definitely be back in the future, no doubt. Highly recommended. Thank you River cabins for a great stay...

My friend and I enjoyed our stay at this great, little rustic cabin. It was comfortable and conveniently located just a short walk to the Frio River and 5 minutes to Garner State Park. Our host, Clint, was readily available and answered any questions we had. Wifi worked like a champ! I will definitely come back for another stay here!

We loved staying at the River Rock Cabin this past weekend. We were in town to dove hunt. We were only 30 minutes from Uvalde so it was a very convenient location. Cabin is a short walk to the river and the pool. The stars at night were spectacular. The cabin itself had everything we needed. I would have liked to have had bath soap in the shower, we had to go buy some. Also maybe provide a few more trash bags too. Overall it was nice staying there and would definitely stay there again. Already planning next dove season:)

Absolutely Perfect! We loved our stay at River Rock Cabins. Location is everything and the location of these cabins is perfect! Walk down the hill to water access. Cabins are super cute and have everything you need. You'll feel right at home! Review their website for list of ideas when it comes to packing! The owners are great people to boot! There are 4 cabins. Perfect for a few families wanting to vacation together but not stay in the same house.

These cabins are PERFECT! There are 4 total. We (me and 2 teenage boys) stayed in Cabin 4 for 3 days and when our friends arrived, moved to Cabin 1. BOTH cabins were great! It is about a minute walk to the water.You can take a wagon down with all of your stuff so you don't have to go back and forth. Cabins are in a really great location and Clint and Amy Page are great hosts.We have already booked 3 of the 4 cabins for next June. Will be an annual tradition moving forward! HIGHLY recommend!There is a BBQ pit with each cabin and the bigger cabins have a fire pit for roasting marshmallows and making smores!Clean and Comfy, truly just perfect!

My family staid at Cabin #5 and we had a wonderful time. The cabin was well stocked and very comfortable. The AC Unit will blow out cool and warm air which was needed because our Texas weather was all over the place during our stay. The staff was very friendly and kind. We will definitely come back for another stay, we love that the river was in walking distance. Great experience!!

My family and I enjoyed every minute we spent at the cabins. Cabins were very clean and spacious!!! The kitchen had all the utensils needed for those home cooked meals. The river was perfect that we ended up spending all of our time in the water. Also the lady at the store across the street was very friendly and helpful, Thank you! (Didn t get her name.).

My family & I really enjoyed our stay. I wasn t expecting the river to be so close. The rooms were the perfect amount of space a family of 6 needed. I liked that the kitchen had all the tools I needed to prepare food. The only complaint I had was the cabin was a bit hot but I think because the front door did not fully shut. I was able to lock the door but it didn t have a tight seal when closed. I did let one of the lady workers know & about 10 minutes later the maintenance man came by to take a look at it & agreed that this needs to be fixed ASAP. Other than that I really really enjoyed our stay .thank you

We had such a GREAT stay! Everything was clean and well kept! We were the perfect distance to the river with our big group! We loved our evenings cooking on the outdoor pit and roasting marshmallows in the fire! Highly recommend!

River Rock Cabins!! The place was comfy, calm, and well stocked with everything we would need from toaster, coffee pots, pans full size fridge.We had such a GREAT stay! Everything was clean and well kept!You can walk down the hill to water access. The location was perfect. Thank you to the staff for your hard work on maintaining the areas clean. :)

We love staying at River Rock Cabins. Great location right by the Frio River with plenty of space for sitting and chilling. Cabin 1 is our favorite. Spacious and comfortable. River Rock is pet friendly and our four legged family members have just as much fun!

I went expecting much more due to the Google Reviews, but I will give a 3-star rating; why? Concept and Location: 5-star. The cabin has a lovely style, and it is 1min from the river. However, we had some problems during our stay. First, the cleanliness of the cabin was not that great, and there was dust everywhere on the kitchen shelves. It looks like the shelves were never cleaned. Second: TV/WiFi, none of them working. Of course, we went there to relax, but having an Internet connection at the end of the day is good for planning for the next day and reading some news. Third: we killed a Scorpion on the second floor of the cabin, the floor where we were sleeping. There are some gaps in the walls that allow scorpions to come in, and there is some garbage in the backyard, which may help them to grow. I wish I could give a 5-stars, but I could not.

We have heard great things about River Rock cabins from some of our friends who had previously stayed there. We chose to stay for 5 days and my only regret was that we didn t stay longer. It was the perfect place to quarantine; The cabin included WiFi so I was able to work remotely and the kids were able to do their schoolwork. The cabins were adorable, the river access was close and easy and the owners were extremely accommodating. We are already planning our next trip back and plan to rent all 3 cabins so our extended family can join us as well.

My family had a wonderful time at River Rock Cabins! Cabin #2 was very clean, comfortable, and nice!!! There was plenty of room for my family to hangout outside and enjoy the beautiful environment! We loved that they were pet friendly and super close to the river!! We can't wait to go back and make more memories!!!

My husband and I recently stayed in Cabin 3 with our two dogs. Everything was perfect for a weekend getaway. The place was comfy, cool and well stocked with everything we would need. Easy walk to the river, and the horses in the back we re so sweet to love on! Amy s Rockin salsa was an added bonus. We can t wait to go back! Highly recommend River Rock Cabins !

Can't say enough good things about River Rock Cabins. We just spent several days there. The cabins were very clean. The location was perfect. It was just a few steps to the Frio River. We went off season, so we had the place to ourselves. We will definitely be back.

My husband, son and I LOVED our 3 night stay in cabin #3 over Spring Break! Super cute, clean cabin with great amenities. A/C was cold, decor was adorable, WiFi worked perfectly, all kitchen necessities were available and new. Outside grill and fire pit we re used every night and the night time pic shows our gorgeous view of Old Baldy we got to enjoy. Location was perfect. Whether you went in a quick 5 minute car ride to the park, or just walked a few steps to Mager s Crossing, the scenery was breathtaking. The few river pics attached were taken right near the cabins. We had such a relaxing and fun time at River Rock Cabins. Clint and Amy are a dream to do business with. You can tell they take great pride and care of their cabins and I will definitely go back!

Recently stayed in Cabin 2 with my family and really enjoyed our stay. Walking distance to the water which was nice being we have 2 kids. Nice grill and fire pit set up outside. Cabin was really spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable. Will definitely be booking here for our next trip down.

Recently stayed at River Rock Cabins, we stayed in Cabin 2 and absolutely LOVED our stay! The beds were extremely comfortable, the setup was perfect for us and our kids and we were within walking distance to the water. Cabins were very clean as well. Highly recommended!!!

Loved River Rock Cabins! We stayed in Cabin 2, but our friends stayed in Cabin 1 and Cabin 3, so I got to see all of them. All the cabins were super clean and decorated so cute! They were conveniently located and easy to get to, lots of parking, plenty of space (inside and outside cabins), and a short walk to Frio River! All cabins had outdoor grilling area with picnic table and fire pit, which came in handy at night when it got chilly. Inside, beds were comfy with lots of pillows, fully stocked kitchen, good WiFi and cold AC. The owners, Clint & Amy, went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable! Amy even made us some of her award winning salsa! Lets s just say, we re already planning our next trip back when we can stay longer!

We recently stayed in cabin #3. The two big boys stayed in the loft, two little boys on the futon and we had the bedroom! We loved the cabin, it was cozy, clean and had everything we needed. The location is perfect. We go to the Frio every year and this will be were we book from now on!!! If you have a large group there are two other large cabins on the property and each cabin has a grill that was perfect at night for dinner then smores!There is a store in the RV park less than half a mile down the road that has ice, snacks, tubes for rent, wood, etc.... anything you need....this was very helpful and convenient.Thanks for a great stay!!!Oh and we already booked it again for another trip!

Highly recommend staying at River Rock Cabins! Everything was very clean and organized. Very easy check-in process. About a 3 minute walking distance to the river, which was very convenient. 10/10 everything!

Great location! Very sweet little spot less than 100 yards away from the Frio! We loved the spot. We were able to grill out, play corn hole, visit with our cabin neighbors and the property neighbors too. we will definitely be back!

Very comfortable we were close to the river. We stayed over the New Year . Got a chance to see some snow flurries. Me and my family enjoyed our time away from the city will definitely be booking another stay.
