Campground across from the Frio River State Park.It is very spacious, it has store, propane filling Station, laundry.A Campground is on the not tall but hill and no easy access to the river. But I saw trails down by the water so people can go and swim there.

Awesome experience! Love this place! We hiked, swam, swang on the rope, cooked out, and had a blast riding the paddle boats. $15 for an hour on the paddle boats. They have picnic tables, and BBQ pits. Come early to get a good spot. Will definitely be back again!

Wonderful RV park nestled in the Texas Hill Country right by the Frio River and across from Gardner State Park. Clean showers and bathrooms. Well stocked convenience store. We had a pop up at the time, so we don't know about full hook ups at the sites. We did have electricity, and it seems to me that the sites did have connections for waste. We enjoyed our stay, staff made it easy to check in, and they even moved us to a better spot. All around great experience for trailers.

This place is such a Diamond in the rough! Best views, friendliest staff, everything you could need at the on site store. They have LP refill station on site, firewood, ice, laundry, and a great selection of beer. Oh and cable hookup and high speed internet! What else could you need? We will definitely be back again. This was the perfect destination for our first RV trip. Even Harlee Ann has had a blast

We stayed here from Sunday through Wednesday in late August. Couldn t have been more pleased. The park is beautiful the bathrooms and showers were clean and well-maintained park staff was very friendly and accommodating. The river was just a short distance down the Bluff. We had a great time I would highly recommend this part anyone looking for an alternative to Garner State Park. Incidentally Garner is just on the other side of the river so you re in the same water without the crowd.

Enjoyed our short stay here very much! Super people and nice area, with beautiful backdrop. Watch out for uneven sites though and it would be nice if the dog area was fenced. But we would go back!

Amazing place, didn t get a spot at the state park so we tried this place. What can I say. Amazing, they gave us a great spot and we all-ready rebooked our next stay. Staff is very friendly and they have a great stocked small grocery store. This is the place to go with a RV if you want to visit Garner state park our just float on the river. Oh

I called in January about a spot for a week in July, since I had heard that rv campgrounds booked up early. I saw the good reviews for Parkview and they told me they only had spot number 68 available and I would have to take it for 8 nights. I paid the 50% deposit and had to pay the remainder when we arrived at the office for check-in on Saturday. We pulled to our spot and you can see the view from my camper and the small size of the lot. We called the office and asked if we could move somewhere else with a better view, since there were several empty sites around us. We were told they were full, but we could check back in a couple of days to see if they had a cancellation. As I unhooked my camper, a guy drove up on a golf cart and watched me from several spaces away. We called a couple of other rv parks in the area and they said they had spaces available. We went to the office at Parkview and told them we were unhappy with our spot and if they didn't have anything else, we were checking out. They called the owner and we told him we didn't want to look at the piles at the back of the maintenance barns for 8 days. He said he didn't know what we were referring to. He said that it was fine if we checked out, but there was no way he was giving a refund because everything stayed booked up for a year. We told him that he should be able to rent the spot out to someone else then, but then he said he probably wouldn't be able to rent it out for more than a day or two. We left and went to another park.

Very nice well kept RV park. Absolutely recommend. Very accommodating staff. We stated two weeks in October, we did not realize staying under a beautiful, big oak tree would be any problem. .. but the acorns were extremely loud. After one week we asked to change spots and they were very helpful in allowing us to. Will be back. Only recommendation is we found a "free" Hill Country visitors guide in Leakey only to find we missed some great events (Tanya Tucker concert and such) so if the RV park would maybe have them available at check in that would be great.

One of the best State Parks in Texas too visit. It is also one of the cleanest in the State. Don't mess with our State Parks.

Great RV park with direct access to the Frio River and just across the river from Garner State Park. We were there during Spring Break and the park was peaceful all day and exactly opposite of the hectic atmosphere at the state park. We had a very enjoyable stay.

We stayed 4 days and loved it .quite and peaceful, friendly staff and very helpful! Great place to stay!was until last day ..we had to leave because they (the lady that came in on thursday) booked our spot out from under us ..told us to move ...so we left who wants to pack up and two spots over...when we called ahead and was told no need to make reservations just come on down and pick out a spot! We won't be back! Thank you!

Fair priced and located in a good spot near the state park and backed right up against the river. The downside is the lack of paved spots making for a muddy go of things when/if it rains. Full hookups, a store that has three of everything basic and your needs are mostly covered. It is isolated so the store is a nice convenience. Clean bathroom and showers, laundry room, wifi that isn't the strongest but works. A good place time go to experience Texas hill county.

We had heard many good things about Parkview Riverside and decided to stay the month of November before moving further west for the winter.Check in was easy and the people that worked in the camp store/office were as nice as could be. We had a choice of a couple of different spots. We chose one that overlooked the river. It is a nice gravel and grass park. Our site was level, electricity and water were fine. Sites are reasonably well spaced. The park is big rig friendly as well.Several seasonal full-timers stay at this park and the ones we met were very nice and helpful.Really the only negative about this park, as this problem often occurs at many parks across the county, the asphalt roads need to have some work done. Pot holes all over the place.Parkview Riverside has a well stocked store with both RV items, river toys and some groceries. You will pay a premium, but given the proximity to any other options such a Leaky, it is worth the extra money. We enjoyed out stay and would recommend this park! The Frio River is clear and cold. We had a blast lounging in our tubes. Garner State Park is on the other side of the river and at times on the weekends the area got a bit crowded.

We are so excited to return for our second year in a row to Parkview. This is an amazing park so peaceful so beautiful and the staff is amazing. With all the hustle and bustle going on across the river at Garner state park it s nice to know that you re going to a very peaceful quiet place and still enjoy the beauty of the hill country

Wow site number 9 was perfect. We were right next to the river with a beautiful view and easy stair access to get down to the river. Staff was friendly. Campground was clean. Propane fill available. Full hook ups, good prices and clean facilities. Small grocery store also available if you need something to finish your meal.

Good times and another July 4th that was great even though water wasn't flowing like usual. Still deep water to swim in. Good poeple!

Price gouging for the Eclipse! Super unethical practices! This place just quoted me $1,000 for either 3 to 7 nights! Either $333/night all the way down to $142/night, with no option in-between. I understand raising the rates as this whole area will be a zoo, but to raise it that much is just insane. Every other park in the area has a three night minimum with a little price increase. Kind of tells you what type of owner this place has.

This is one of the nicest RV parks in the Garner State Park area and I would highly recommend anyone looking to stay at the river to book here. The bathrooms were definitely better than average and having the little grocery store on site makes it very convenient to get those last-minute items that you might have forgot. Prices were not outrageous given that you had no competition and it's just really a nice place to stay.

Fantastic experience this last weekend. Great people working the office, lots of supplies for sale if needed, and clean campsite. We had great wifi and a view of the Frio River. No complaints

The best RV park in the Concan/Leakey area IMO. I had my RV here from late Oct through mid January. Very quiet, great security and friendly staff. We will definitely come back.
