Fantastic service at this Americas Best Value Inn. I arrived after midnight and called ahead to let them know. A staff member met us in the lobby despite the late arrival. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The shower is a little funky, as it has two heads on opposite sides of the tub, causing water to drain a little bit more slowly than usual. However, the rest of the bathroom was clean and orderly.

Seriously not a place I would recommend. Beds are hard and dated. Super uncomfortable. Housekeeping will give you bare minimum on supplies or you'll have what we did when we checked in, you'll find half used supplies in the room. Just know you really get what you pay for here.... cheapest isn't always the best clearly. Room is musty in smell. Horrible experience. Never again.

This has to be the best ABV I ve ever stayed in!! Spacious room, very very clean, comfortable bed, pillows are flat, that s my only negative, quiet, park at your door, great value, friendly service, right in town; and let me tell you about the shower!!! A double headed shower! Actually a working shower head on both ends. I fell in love with that alone Rooms: Quiet, clean, privateNoteworthy details: Loved the shower head on north ends of the shower. Great water pressure. I was in heaven!!

Refused service because I had my service dog with me. Absolutely unacceptable. Didn't even let us explain that she is trained. Do NOT SUPPORT THEM! And then they called the hotel up the street to warn them that we might come there to get a room. And they are cousins. So, they set us up. Wow, just simply mean. Drive down 15 more minutes Brownwood, got hotel, pet friendly and $20 cheaper at $65, instead of there $85 in Comanche.

The morning of, we got a call that the front desk gave away our room of 2 queen beds and gave us a king instead. Unfortunately 2 adults and 2 kids really need the space to sleep, but with everywhere else sold out we took it anyways. We brought camp beds for the kids and hoped for the best.Upon arrival we were given the handicapped room on site and a folded twin on wheels. It was nice to get the extra bed, but there were no sheets or pillows provided...It was easy to tell that the room had not been used in a while (or not throughly cleaned at least).-Bugs were everywhere (dead and alive); in the drawers; in the bathroom; even in the mini fridge.-The were loose screws in the bottom drawer along with the iron and hairdryer (plus multiple scurrying waterbugs).-The floor was nasty. 10 minutes after I took a shower, I went to put on my socks and found my feet were black from the cruddy carpet.-In the bathroom: Behind the door on the wall was a spot where the drywall had been punched in. The tub was full of blackened cracks and the curtain was torn and dirty (possible mold). It was so bad that first night that after our event ended the next day, we left immediately. We did not stay the second night, even though we had already paid for it!!We paid not to sleep there again!!

The lady at the front desk was delightful. The room was not. Yes, it is a pet friendly place. No, it is not a place for bringing the kids. The bed linens were clean although it was only a sheet set and bedspread. Good pillows. The bed was way too soft for comfort. The floors were gross! Did not take shoes off! Dirty washcloth in shower. Only one towel was clean enough to use. Maybe the linens weren t washed or rinsed well? No shampoo or facial tissue. Just a single bar of soap. The TV remote was filthy with grime-we put a plastic bag over it to handle it. The upholstery chair was dirty under the cushion-needed a good vacuuming. We didn t use the microwave or mini fridge. The outlet behind it had no cover. Didn t feel safe using the electrical plugs. Did use the little coffee pot which worked okay. No ice bucket in the room. Lots of rust on the clothing rack. TV worked good. Hot water in the shower. Nice paint job in the room. Took a long time to get AC to cool the room. A wood stick in the window to keep window locked. The surfaces of the room were clean. But that floor! So, yes: polite staff, clean bed & hot shower and pet friendly. They need to give more work to checking the rooms. And put a faceplate on that electrical outlet and clean the carpet or pull it up and put tile which is easier to keep clean. And put a proper lock on the window.

They are so kind here and very helpful. The AC went out on my room and they did everything to help me change rooms and upgraded my room for me. It's very clean and quiet here and the prices are great. Thank You guys for your kindness and hospitality. It is very much appreciated...

One night stop while passing through from CO to LA. We decided on this motel because we had two small dogs and the website stated they're pet friendly. They welcomed us and the dogs, there was a standard pet fee of $10. We booked two rooms (one non-smoking and one smoking). The non-smoking room was right next to the smoking room, but you'd never know it. Both rooms were very clean, spacious and had no bugs. I would have rated 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that the non-smoking room's AC took triple the amount of time to cool the room as the smoking room's AC. But that was literally the only qualm, and a minor one. We enjoyed the friendly staff, ease of access to nearby stores and restaurants, and location. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

Slightly disappointed is putting it mildly. The furnishings were worn and dated and the rooms on the small side. While November is not the month to go for a swim, the pool was half filled with dark green water and floating trash and the mosquitoes were terrible. I paid more than was expected considering the online advertised price but had not the other hotels been booked due to several large company work crews in the area, my money would have gone elsewhere. The owner let herself into the room several times unannounced during my 3 day stay claiming she was checking on a problem in the room that I allegedly reported and each time making an effort to glance over my belongings. No such report was ever made. The wifi was down most of the time and spotty cell service throughout the area made compiling and sending my reports difficult. The front office / lobby is often left unattended for hours and land line calls into the room don't get through as each call is directed by front desk personnel. Limited options in a small town but I'll pass on this option during my next visit.

I stay here every year during deer season and it is always clean and comfortable and affordable. There is a brand new hotel in Comanche but the rooms there are smaller and certainly no better than here. As with anywhere nowadays you need to not leave anything in your car or back of your truck because it might grow legs and walk off.

Extremely rude service, or lack there of. I called at appx. 6 am and asked if they had any vacancys. Female said yes. I said great I'll be there in 15 mins. Get there and know one answers the door or the phone. Sit for an hour in the parking lot dialing and re dialing. Finally I see someone close the blinds in the office and turn off the lights. Down right nasty people

Mold on shower curtain. You can see light all around the door. Blood stains on bedding. Windows don't lock so a piece of wood was wedged to keep window shut.

The room is great. The prices are ok. My only complaint is that the door to the room does not lock correctly. Given a diffrent room i would stay here again.
