Cardinal came highly recommended, and rightly so. Very knowledgeable and honest.When I first called him , he asked several questions about my transmission issues. Then told me what had happened and how he would repair it to not happen again. I took several months deciding whether I wanted to do the repair or not. I talked to him multiple times and he was happy to answer all my questions. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Cardinal Transmission. Professional, honest and takes pride in doing it right the first time.

Cant say enough good things about Cardinal Transmission! They serviced my 6.0 Powerstroke transmission for a rough shift and temp issue. The repair was explained thoroughly, and the time window for repair was quoted exactly as described. No hidden Charges, just a straight up good old fashioned business approach. The truck was fixed and I have been happy .

If you are in need of transmission service and are anywhere near this shop, please do yourself a favor and take your vehicle there.Brad will take the time to explain exactly what is going on, what needs to be done to fix it, and will give a fair and accurate estimate before he starts the work. My 2012 Suburban runs like new now and I really did not think that was possible.

My Challenger decided to break down on a Sunday in Giddings Texas. Had it towed to Brads shop and SO HAPPY THAT I CHOSE CARDINAL TRANSMISSION to repair my car!! Fixed in one day and for A HUGE AMOUNT LESS than what was expected!! Brad is honest, professional, and has integrity . Rare qualities these days in the service business but I found an abundance in Columbus Texas. 5 stars is selling Cardinal Transmission short as they are worthy of many more stars . Highly recommend this shop if you have transmission or drive train issues, regardless if you live in Houston, Austin, or San Antonio. ITS WORTH IT TO DO BUSINESS HERE- I assure you that the service that Brad and his team provide won t be found in the big cities! I won t take any of my vehicles to anywhere else now that I ve found Cardinal GREAT JOB, Brad! Thank you so very much!!!!Service: Transmission

I came from Austin which is about 1 hour and 30 minute drive for him to work on my car. That s how much I would recommend him. He s very well priced and just a good guy. A mechanic you can trust that knows what he s doing. I m always worried about getting screwed over on price, a mechanic adding work that isn t needed, or not knowing what they are doing. Brad is knowledgeable, honest, and fair. I will come to him from now on with any major car issue. I don t have too many lol. Definitely go with him.

Bad transmission work done!!! Took the same transmission back twice, then actually having to pay another shop to do the job right!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!

Had our Transmission repaired here, Brad was very friendly and knew right away what was wrong with our truck, he gave us an estimate and the final price was very close to his quote. An honest & and smart man that charges a fair price for his expertise. Definitely recommended! GO SEE THIS GUY!The universe introduced me to Brad by way of a tow truck driver named Glen. I was en route to Austin via Houston when my drive shaft on my 4Runner threw its u joints and Brad was kind enough to leave his home to secure my vehicle in his shop late on a Friday night.The next morning, he diagnosed my problem, and educated me on a host of other things to be on the lookout for-- and came up with a plan to cut off a seized part of my driveshaft as I hunted down another one in Austin.He works quick- AND he's very thorough and a hell of guy to shoot the breeze with. His work is honest and guaranteed and he comes from mechanic blood--He knows his stuff.!We both agreed that in another life, we'd be kicking it around as friends.In my experience with Brad, I like to think that my mishap with my vehicle allowed me to gain a new trusting friendship.Thanks again Brad!Michael, via Austin, TX

Awesome service! My transmission started malfunctioning a couple of miles outside of Columbus on my way from Houston to New Braunfels on a Friday afternoon. Nobody in the area was able to get me back on the road until Monday because they don't work on weekends. Brad made sure he found the part and put it in Saturday morning. I couldn't be more grateful for these guys helping me out!Service: Transmission

Started having transmission sensor problems in our Sprinter Van halfway through our Road-trip and came across Cardinal Transmission. Brad, the owner, was beyond helpful!!! He diagnosed the problem right away, gave us great advice on next steps, temporarily fixed the problem and sent us on our way since we were from out of state. Great service!!! Brad has repaired many of my vehicles ranging from engine to transmission. Honda, Chevrolet, BMW s that I continue to get my use out of. Reliable and upfront, and very knowledgeable that puts care into his work and care for what s riding in your vehicle.

I was married for 40 years. My husband dealt with all the automotive issues in our house. Now that it's just me, businesses tend to take advantage of my ignorance. I hate going, because they ALWAYS upsized my repairs. I had the transmission service light come on my jeep. He diagnosed the problems and told me to go to the dealership. He was extremely honest in dealing with me. I highly recommend him.

The estimate was spot on. Great service. They fixed the problem while I waited. Offered to give me a ride home --unbelievable customer service. I have a giant F350 dually, so this wasn't some Kia transmission. 1000% satisfied!
