Thank you Lonestar for noticing my expired inspection today! The nicest, most honest group of men work here. And the prices are reasonable. I am truly thankful for their professionalism and efficiency over the years. Over 15years and 2 locations coming here and you still catch things I get too busy to notice. I shed a tear when you closed on Sundays but thankful that you get time with your loved ones as well. Thank you for all you do to help us in Colleyville and beyond!

Honestly I just go for my yearly inspection. Each time they have been fast, and friendly, and no hassles. And when you're dealing with government-related nonsense those things are rare! I will certainly go back next year. By the way, I usually try to catch them midday on a weekday. They're usually not crowded. I don't really know what it's like on the weekends.On 07/07/21 I've upped my rating to five stars. These guys are great. I had two inspections done, I was in and out quickly. They're friendly they're helpful and they will treat you fairly. I will continue going back here, primarily for inspections. But I would certainly go here for an oil change if I didn't do my own oil changes. It's where my daughter gets her oil changed every time.

I love this location and ALL of the employees who work here. They are well trained and actually complete their tasks in a timely manner. They love working on old fashioned cars as well. Not only are they kind, but they also treat everyone the same. The gentlemen refer you to another mechanic shop if they believe that they can do a better job. That s how humble they are. The prices are affordable at Lone Star Lube in Colleyville and the team is very TRANSPARENT. My entire family has visited this location and they have a very similar point of view in regards to their professionalism. From start to finish these men stay classy! I will always recommend this location to my fellow GENUINE friends.Services: Electrical, Oil change

Oil change with synthetic costs $100 bucks. Little high, hence 4 stars. Location is convenient and there was no wait at 5:20 pm on a weekday. Staff was friendly. The waiting room is a bit run down, but it is a garage after all.

Couldn't meet a better group of people than the owner and staff of Lonestar Lube! The guys were super knowledgeable about my vehicle and the specific oil I was needing. This will be my go to place from know on, go see them for your next oil change, you won't find a better place!

CLEARLY the one honest "inspection station" in the Fort Worth Area. I've been here in July for the past two years - courteous, honest, fast. The guys know what they are doing and all seem to enjoy being at work - which means they are interested in happy customers so they can continue to be happy at work.From now on, it's the only place I will go.

Before I get into my review, I need you to know that I've only been to Lonestar Lube once. Also, I usually don't review mechanics -of any kind- till I've had many visits to determine if they're consistent with their claims of quality work, but my first visit here felt necessary to mention.The first thing that struck me about Lonestar was that they gave me a price quote on my oil change before doing the work. As weird as this is to be surprised about, I've gone to several shops for oil changes over the last couple of years and not one of them has quoted me a price before doing the work. Maybe it's just my luck, but I thought that practice had gone the way of the dodo.Another thing I was surprised about was the quickness and attentiveness of the staff. I was acknowledged as soon as I drove up and given instructions on what to do. There were about 3 people ahead of me and I don't think I waited more than 20 minutes to be finished.Finally, the last thing that surprised me was an attendant who told me that my air filter was fine. I know my filter is at least around 2-3 months old now so it should still be good, but I'm so accustomed to being told that it's in need of a replacement every time I get an oil change that it's shocking when told that I don't need one yet.As an added bonus (in 2022), they will give you a coupon to Mustang Elite Car Wash for $10.99 off any wash or one free basic wash. And Lonestar is located next to a pretty good Cajun restaurant (that didn't have a good working AC on the day we went, but the food was great).I'll try to remember to write an updated review after a few visits to make sure that you're aware that this first visit wasn't a fluke, but for now I'm very impressed with Lonestar Lube.

I got an oil change and inspection and was out within 30 minutes even though they were busy. They were quick and very nice. Along with it being less expensive than I expected and I think this is also the first time I ve ever been somewhere for my car where I wasn t told I needed other random things. I ll definitely be going back when I need anything else.Service: Oil change

They are honest, fair, friendly and take great care of you. They don't push you to do anything you don't need and in fact have let me know when I thought I needed something but didn't and didn't even charge me for their time. Consistent management for at least the 3 years I have been taking my Chevy there. Super nice, too. My highest compliment is they feel like the small-town shop I grew up going to with my Dad.

These guys never let me down. Brought my 30 year old jeep in for a oil change. Not only did I get that with expert customer service and recommendations, the guys went above and beyond checking and topping off every other fluid besides the gas tank..I will continue to drive past 6 or 7 quick lube places to bring all my vehicles here.

Do great work and get a Great review!Talk about record Time they changed my OIL and FILTER plus did my Fuel filter in 30 min on a Diesel Sedan !The techs are super friendly and don t push you for extra services you don t want . Another plus they OFFER AMSOIL OIL witch is the best oil in the worldThank you guys

Fast and professional. I always get great service on my vehicles, but I witnesses one that warmed my heart.I was getting my Hummer inspected, and a guy that spoke English as a second language came in to get his oil changed. After he sat down to wait, the tech came in and informed him that he was only half way through his change interval and showed him the paper work. The customer was getting the old changed for his daughter and the Lone Star tech walked him through the utilization rate, and all thinks being equal made a recommendation on when to come back.That was customer friendly and not taking advantage of a person that just didn't know better, but had good intentions. Fast, friendly, and fair!

They are amazing! Every time I go to get my oil changed I m in and out in 30 minutes! And they always let me know if anything is wrong with my car. The last time I went for an oil change I also found out my air filter was really nasty and my CV axle was going out and spewing grease all over the wheel well! They are super efficient and really nice and this is honestly the best place to take your car. They ve been servicing my entire families cars for 2 years now!Service: Oil change

Great service! I had an oil change here. They checked all the pertinent fluids and filled as needed. They were quick and extremely courteous. I felt so much better taken care of than the many other places I've used. I will return again and again.

What more to say... They offer great service. My truck is not easy to change the oil on. There's a beefy skid plate that requires a lot of extra labor to work with. They never complain and always do great work. Highly recommend this local shop.

Went to get an inspection. They were fast, friendly, and even helped fix a problem I didn't see before. One of my lug nuts fell off and the inspector pointed it out to me and let me go get one for him to install before they started the inspection. He then inspected the rest of my lug nuts to make sure that they were safe.I will definitely go there again.

I hate being "that person" that comes in 5 minutes or less before a business closes because I know how it feels being the employee on the receiving end... So I felt extremely awful when I learned they closed at 6 and I had pulled in for an oil change at 5:55pm. They told me not to worry about what time it was and were very welcoming and reassured me that it wasn't any trouble to get me right in and get what I needed done. Everyone was very courteous and polite, and this was just an all around great experience. Next time I need my oil changed I'll definitely be coming here again... And I'll even make sure I get here way before closing time! Thanks for the great customer service when you had every right to turn me away!

Want to get an inspection or oil change done quickly? Come here and you will sail through within 15 minutes. The "get'er down" and friendly service is truly Texan. Plus ..... you get a car wash coupon thrown in!

These guys are the worst of the worst in taking advantage of people who are inexperienced with auto maintenance. They charged my teenage daughter $175 for an oil change and claimed that it was because the only oil that would work was an expensive specialty brand. This is not true as evidenced by the dealers that regularly charge $70 for the same oil change.Thanks for your response. Having done the due diligence you suggested, I have found many products that meet the spec but none that come anywhere near $25/quart. Please show me the invoice cost that matches this rate and I will humbly remove my complaint.

I needed a vehicle inspected fast. Lonestar got the job done for me faster than anywhere else. It is convenient to where I live and have found their services to be fast and professional over the years.
