I m from out of town and was looking for a good locally owned tire company. I had a bit of an emergency and was greeted by the most professional and friendly technicians. They had my tire issues fixed in about 45 minutes. I really appreciate their dedication and fast friendly service. Thank you!

my had a tire pressure warning so i went to get it checked out, and they helped me found that one of the sensor isn t working and got it replaced. the total came out to be just around $100. as someone who doesn t know anything about cars, it was a good and comforting experience. people are nice and i will come again next time!

Our son is a student at Texas A&M and came from class to the student parking garage to find his car wouldn't start. Pilgers sent a tow-truck driver who not only fixed the car on-site but drove it back to their garage and ran some tests then gave the car back to our son at no cost to him. Truly exceptional service! We highly recommend Pilgers for tire and automotive repairs

Well, I been thinking this comment because after a week I m still feeling disappointed. I m automotive engineer and the service I was looking was set by an appointment. First of all, prices should be explained before services begin. It is also part of the customer need but would also be considered as an abuse when an apparent labor fuel filter is charged for a $100.Alignment issues even when there are more problems with the car do no have to be a solution from the shop changing your car for a new one, I m driving a 2021 ram3500 and in good faith I don t believe that lack of knowledge let you give this type of answers to problems you actually can not solve. Anyhow, that was my first and last experience at this shop and I ll never come back.

Pilgers did a great job diagnosing my diesel trucks problem and promptly fixing it while I waited. They fixed the problem that another shop nearby could not. The place does not look like much from the exterior but I had great service with a smile. Highly recommend.

My wife and I have been taking our vehicles here for the last couple of years. Pilger s is always fair, the work is top notch, and they re honest. I won t take my vehicle anywhere else in the Brazos valley.

Honest, good mechanics, fair pricing.UPDATE: I've been their customer for almost a year and have been bringing all of my cars here now. I like their service so much that my extended family has started bringing their cars here as well.When I had one very unusual import car they couldn't fix because of parts issues, they referred me to another quality mechanic who was able to do it. The other mechanic is good but it's hard to beat Pilgers service so they've earned my loyalty!

I was able to make an appointment, and they stuck to the appointment time without issue. Even better was that they were able to fix my issue at their original ballpark price and time!! Incredible!Additionally, I never felt like they were pushing me into a service that I did not want. They were kind and respectful. I so appreciate that! I ll certainly return just because of the approach to customers alone.

They provide an amazing customer service. I had to get my car towed because it stopped driving and they were able to fix it on time and even give me insights on what happened. They were understanding and patient. 10/10 customer service!

I went here (around december) and asked them to inspect my tires bc i filled them 3 times and i was still getting the low air alert... was brushed off and told that couldn't possibly have happened . they "inspected" my tires and told me my tires were 100% fine no leaks no damage ... they neglected to find a nail lodged in my tire ive driven from dallas to college station many times since then, the fact I haven't died is a miracle. I feel like since i was a woman they disregarded my concern and put my safety at risk. I think if i was a man they may have taken my concern a little more seriously. If you are a woman id be cautious coming here...

Got a new set of tires from here the other day. 5 stars. Told them I wanted a new set of tires and the price range I was looking to spend (500-$600) on a 4 door car, and they delivered, had brand new tires the next day with in my price range. They were cheaper and more friendly then other places I visited.

I went to them and the quote was around $200 to change one tire. The tire cost was around $100 and putting that on the car replacing the old one was $100. That's why, I didn't repair through them. Whereas, in other place where I went after that Firestone and Discount tire, the price was $150 and $100 for the tire and the fixing was free.I also asked if I needed to change the wheel/rim. It was said that it can't be said before the new tire is put on, so, additional charge might be added if rim needs to be changed. Whereas, in the above two, they said beforehand that the rim was fine, only changing tire would be fine.So, I have complaint on both the price quote, and mechanic.

Had a bit of a mess with a screw in my tire that discount tire refused to look at. Came over here and they helped me look at the option of removing the screw and patching it. Once the screw was removed, it showed how much damage had actually been done and I had to get a new tire. They told me all of my options and even offered a cheaper option than what I had since my tires will need to be replaced in a year or so. Everyone was very kind, prompt, and helpful! Made the entire situation so much better!

Purchased our 2nd set of tires from Pilgers today. The company has done an excellent job of getting us in on a timely basis to rotate or repair our tires.

Pilgrims is the greatest. So friendly. Professional and helpful. I have never had a bad experience there. They are like brothers. I fully trust Pilgers Tire for my Avalanche.

Pilger's Tires is the best mechanic I have ever known. They are always kind, on time and, most of all, very honest. For example recently they told me that one part that broke was under recall and recommended going to the dealership instead of charging me for the repair. I highly recommend Pilger's to everyone and had them do maintenance on my car for many years.

What a wonderful experience. I recently moved to College Station and had a need for some scheduled maintenance on a 10 year old vehicle. I contacted the dealer and received conflicting estimates, which made me uncomfortable.Pilger's was recommended to me, so I went by to get an estimate. What a great first impression; clean shop, orderly office and friendly staff. Their estimate was competitive and based on the recommendation I had received, I decided let them do the work.Boy, was I ever happy with the result. It turned out that what was required was less than the estimate and all that savings was passed through to me. They did the work quickly, were very pleasant to deal with and saved me quite a bit over the dealer estimate. They have definitely earned my business going forward.

My friend went there at the end of last year to get her rim and tire replaced. Initially it was a great experience, but then she had to go to another garage today (about a month and a half later) because she noticed the tire she had replaced at Pilgers was already flat. While she was there, she learned that the tire she received from Pilgers was a used tire that was already patched and she was forced to spend $150 on a new tire! They took advantage of my friend and scammed her out of her money! If you go here, make sure you do your due diligence to make sure they don t give you a bad used tire and charge you a lot of money for it.

Best experience ever at an auto service center. I had a quote for my AC to be recharged, but I was charged about 20% LESS. The waiting area was clean and very nice. It only took about 15 minutes (seemed like 5) and the AC blew ice cold after. I definitely had a great experience. I will go back again when my car or my kids cars need help and I recommend Pilgers to anyone needing auto service.

It can be difficult to find service minded companies in todays world of corporate chain stores and internet commerce. My career requires a lot of travel to properties and towns all across the state of Texas.I depend upon the reliability of my vehicle greatly. The fine folks at Pilgers do a great job of understanding my tire needs for my vehicle as well as my families vehicles, their pricing is competitive and their service is outstanding! They also provide the service work for my Ford F250 and keep me going down the road safely. I highly recommend their products and services!

A great local tire place. And they were able to get a particular tire for me that other places couldn't.Update: I've been back a couple of times for general service, and I really can't speak highly enough of them here. Local and independent, and they take care of their customers. Great job as always, thank you for everything. You'll have my business as long as I'm living here.

I came here with a brake problem, spent almost $500, and left with an even bigger problem that they failed to diagnose correctly. I was completely taken advantage of as a college student coming in clearly very concerned about my vehicle and they paid no attention to my concerns. Instead, they completely overcharged me and messed something else up in my car causing it to break down on me the same day I picked it up from the shop, after telling me it was safe to drive!!!!!Bottom line is: they created other problems in my car that were NOT an issue before I brought it here, AND failed to diagnose the correct problem. They do not seem to know what they are doing and I felt very uncomfortable through the whole process.

I have a fairly (almost 20 year) old Chevy, so it tends to have problems and need service fairly frequently. Ever since moving to College Station I have taken it to Pilger's and have never had a bad experience. They are the only place I completely trust to tell me what actually needs to be done and what can just be left alone. If they tell me something needs to be fixed I don't hesitate to believe them for a second. They are always so nice and so friendly and helpful, they even let me bring my dog in when my car decided to start smoking while I had him with me! I recommend them to anyone who asks and I even got my boyfriend to start bringing his Cadillac here and now won't go anywhere else. I am so glad I found this place!

If I could give 6 stars, I would. I came here for a state vehicle inspection to renew my registration. My car failed inspection because there was moisture inside my headlight. I asked how much it would be to order a part and replace it and they told me nearly $600!! Yikes.. cue broke-college-student panic. They must have seen it on my face, because they offered to find me a used part and install it for: $230! State inspection included! They were super kind throughout the whole process, and when the part arrived it was installed in under and hour! I would absolutely recommend Pilger's over any old chain auto parts store ANYDAY. Amazing local business!

Good service from a local dealer. Price wise they were comparable to the chains in the area. They didn't pressure me. Just shot straight. I shopped, called back and made an appointment. Works so well. Thanks Rick.

Chipped the coating on my BRAND NEW corvette wheels and say they aren t responsible for damages to rims at all! be very careful of letting them do work on nice vehicles because they WILL NOT take responsibility
