Was pleasantly surprised by such great service from the team at Midas. Joe was on point and kept me informed of any and all issues he encountered during my appointment. Professional and remarkable engagement with the client allowed for timely service and even better results. My recommendation goes beyond human interaction, because the service in itself was better than great and the advice alone was important for future maintenance on the vehicle.Honestly, Midas should be everyone's go to spot for an annual inspection at the very least or an oil change, you won't regret it.

I used midas for my company fleet program. I was billed $3,xxx worth of work that never actually got done. The truck is currently in another shop to get everything redone. I would not recommend Midas College Station. Only use them for oil and tires if you have to, that may be out of their ability as well.

My # 1 oil change place!! Actually the only place I've gotten my oil changed the year 2023! Just took my car in two Fridays ago. No long wait, friendly environment. Attentive to your vehicle. Each employee has always been professional. Can't say the same for NTB here in College Station!! NTBs customer service was horrible!! So glad I found Midas in February of this year!

Was having problems with my car, so I called and explained my issues. The guy INSISTED it was my alternator even though I said it wasn't that because it was just changed and brand new. They took my car. 'Fixed' it 3 days later. Gave me the keys. And what do you know. It doesn't start. I walked back in and said hey, you fixed my car but it doesn't start. Did you even turn it on? He said no, we push rolled it out. So that was 900$. They 'fixed' it again for a 'discounted' 300$. And my car still didn't run. They're literally only good for the oil change coupon you get in the mail. A bunch of middle-school dropouts who barely achieved a GED, if that. They deserve a lawsuit from anyone who can afford it.

Went in earlier today. Very professional, good price, and had me in and out for a quick oil change. Again very well priced and even made me aware of a defect in my tire. All around great service!

Well if you are talking about great customer service Midas has it all I've already gotten a couple of oil changes and I will continue to do business with Midas and in my book they deserve a 5 rating and if you are in need of an oil change or any type of auto repair I highly recommend Midas in college station Texas

If you're a woman and you need a place to take your car for any kind of repairs or diagnostics, THIS is the place to go!! I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Midas. They will diagnose your problem and give you options to fix it with quality parts they'd put in their mother's car, or cheaper parts to save you money. BUT they'll ONLY tell you what's wrong with your car!I went in with a bad air compressor and they didn't try to take me for a ride and replace a whole bunch of things that weren't broken. My tank was full of freon and they took my freon out and stored it and put it back in. Another mechanic could've charged me for more freon.They're ethical and kind. Walt was easy to work with to schedule and discuss options. I have had 3 inspections for a 2006 civic. Aggieland automotive missed the suspension issue, the Honda dealership noticed a suspension issue and worn brake shoe drums. They looked at my suspension here and confirmed I need to get it fixed but said rear brake shoe drums are fine. Quote for one CV boot replacement was $135 cheaper than Honda, brake fluid flush $100 cheaper than Honda which makes is more realistic to get done on older carsServices: Steering & suspension replacement, Brakes

Treated me well. Showed me the car up on the lift and didn't give me the "You can't come out into the shop because of insurance' speech. Didn't charge me for the inspection, and they gave options. Thank you for treating me so kindly.

Mr. Matt is the most honest man in the auto repair business I have ever met. I have gotten a lot of work done through this shop, and he has always worked to get me the best possible pricing for the best quality work and on time even when they were busy. He will walk you through any problem step by step and he knows what he is doing. I would like to also thank the mechanic Garrett for his hard work he did on my car. If you have anything wrong with your car at all, this is the team to take it to, they will take good care of you.

I have been taking my pickup here for the two years I've been in town. Prices are good; customer service is great. Best of all, they are trustworthy.Matt and his team are awesome. He is always attentive, courteous and knows customers by name and sight. His team is efficient and I've never had any complaints about their work. Even in the times when the team has found unexpected issues with my older (2008) vehicle, I've never felt pressured or cornered to act on their findings. When I've had questions about potentially needed parts or services, Matt's answers have always been informative and helpful. No hard sells here.I've had bad experiences in the past with shops where the guys seem to think they can get away with lying to their female customers or badgering them into expensive, unnecessary work. I have enough spotty mechanical knowledge and car work experience to have recognized a couple times when mechanics were bald-faced lying to me. When my partner and I moved here, I was cautious about that with this shop (as I would be with any new place) but I went with it because of its good ratings and convenient hours. All my experiences here with Matt and his team have inspired nothing but trust and that has kept me coming back for all my pickup's needs I can't do myself.Services: Wheel alignment, Brakes, Oil change

Mr. Walt and Mr. Eric took great care to do a complete brake job in my F150 truck. They explained all aspects and even was hesitant to condemn a part that was still serviceable which I elected to go ahead and replace. Also, received a call and was texted a picture of additional part that needed service. A written estimate was provided and was even provided a courtesy ride and call when the job was completed the day after Thanksgiving. All expectations met.... thank you!!!

I have an old 2002 Grand Prix. I needed a brakes and AC repair. The work was just done less than 2 weeks ago and I've already driven that car all the way to the top of Colorado and back twice. I could tell you stopping straight and stopping strong is no longer an issue for my car and with the lifetime guarantee and their best rotors and pads is an issue I never expect to be concerned about ever again. The AC worked great but apparently as they had noted was going to be possible when I picked it up, the clutch does appear to be bad. They were happy to honor the warranty of the work they had done to my AC to reduce my overall expense for a new compressor. That is fair, but over the years I have noticed running trucking companies and running the wheels off of four wheelers almost all reputable repair shops seem to want to insist on all the additional parts of the AC system being changed along with the compressor. I know there is a standard answer reason for that, but I guess the only place I would differ with Midas is that I've had multiple compressors changed over the decades and I've never had an issue with not changing all the other parts along with the compressor which do drastically increase the cost of that repair. However of course I'm not in the business of changing AC compressors and I don't change them every day like this gigantic chain across the country does. So more than likely statistically they're probably correct about that. Other than that, they get right to it, and you have again a huge national chain we all know and trust in most small large cities across the country all standing at the ready to take care of any warranty issue. That's a great comfort to me because I run the wheels off of my vehicles traveling all over the US. I will add also that the general manager himself offered to immediately pull the car in and initiate that repair for the AC as I had told him I needed it the next day to drive some 65 miles or so to a funeral and brand new expensive clothes that I really didn't want to have to sweat in. Luckily the next day it was very cool and I had no problem, but it's worth noting that though I may disagree a little bit with the idea of changing all those extra parts, the manager heard that it was a fairly critical issue and needed to be taken care of right away as it was at the end of the business day he immediately offered to get it in progress and see to it that it got finished himself. Sometimes paying what may be considered a slightly premium price is worth it in efficient and overall service done right. Conclusion: you'll get exactly what you need and you can be assured the work will be backed up by professionals that really do know what they're doing and seriously care about their business and you as the customer.

Could not be more impressed with this shop. Matthew was very professional, knowledgeable, and extremely responsive. I needed new front rotors and brakes. The local dealership's pricing was ridiculous. I received quotes from other repair shops and stopped by this Midas location on the way home. I was pleasantly surprised with the competitive pricing at Midas and they started the work immediately. I watched the technician and was very impressed with his work ethic. Often I see other shop's technicians checking phones and chatting it up with co-workers but not here; it was all business and they even beat their time estimate. Also, the owner followed up with me to ensure the work went well. You can't ask for better service. Keep up the great work by both management and technicians. good service with a minor error (oil change and some inspections)I have ordered oil change with some inspections. The quality of work is great and customer service is good. The staff looks respectful to the customers. The total time is around 1 hr 20min( 20min waiting and 1hr service time) with online reservation. It was approximately 1 pm on a weekday. So I think their service is quick enough.The minor issue is that the oil changed was synthetic blend instead of FULL synthetic. On web site form, I clearly wrote "FULL synthetic" but I might say just "synthetic" in the shop, and unfortunately the staff did not check it mean blend synthetic or full synthetic. Since my car does not require FULL synthetic, it is a minor error. He apologized gently and promised small amount of discount for the next time. I have felt it is professional, and it is enough to compensate this minor error. I will use this service again.

Prices are fair, owner is courteous and informative, and they don't charge you for tiny work/quick fixes. The mechanic brought me out and explained the work to be done, ensuring that I understood what the issue was and showing me how it affected my car. Work was done hours faster than their time estimate, even though they were busy. Owner checked in days afterward to make sure the work they did was performing well. I had a very pleasant experience here. I dropped my car at 5pm on Monday to fix the CV joint and got my car back quickly at 4pm on Tuesday. They had to deal with my insurance company, order the parts and get the job done beautifully in a timely manner! Everyone is helpful, especially the owner Mr. White and the lady Kendra. They are smart, knowledgeable, and patient with all my questions. Really appreciated the service! Thank you!!

Fast, reliable service at a great price with a good attitude.Overall wonderful experience replacing the tires on my husband's car. It was realotively quick and the guys who took care of us were helpful and knowledgeable.The owner even checked in to make sure things were going well.Fantastic experience.

Had a belt replaced here when Michael was the manager. Decent price and job well done. Service was really fast and super easy. However, I recently had an oil change, alignment, and front pads replaced. Their mechanics left the oil pan plug loose, stripped two of my tire lugs, and I've recently had to have the front brakes redone with warped rotors. Do not take your car here!!

I came in for new brakes. The guys made my appointment, examined my car and found another issue that, though minor right now, could have become a bigger problem. They fixed everything up quickly and had me rolling that afternoon. I was in the loop throughout the whole process. Great place and great service!

I needed to have all 4 brake rotors replaced, all 4 sets of brake pads, and to have my brake fluid flushed. They took care of me quickly and answered any questions I had pertaining to the work I was having done. They were honest and fair with their pricing so I would highly recommend these guys for any work you need done to your car or truck!

Going here to get my car fixed was the best decision ever. I filled it up with diesel instead of regular gas haha. Everyone I called was super judgmental, except for them. Kevin was in charge, and he was extremely understanding. They fixed my car at a very reasonable price, great service overall. 10/10 would recommend!

I had oil leaks from my valve cover and my turbo. The Midas team diagnosed the issue quick. Replaced my turbo due to it being blown. Did some preventative maintenance and fixed my valve cove leak all in less than 24 hours. Excellent customer service! Very friendly staff! I highly recommend this location to anyone and everyone!

UPDATE 03/2019: Originally I had no quarrels with the oil change short of a long wait time, however, after going to change my oil again I have noticed some issues with their work. To be clear, my car now has 23,000 miles on it, and I have done all maintenance minus this one oil change and tire rotation, the $7 oil change on Groupon was just too good to pass up. However, now I know I just need to do everything myself now. After climbing under my car to change my oil I found that 2 of the bolts for the panel covering the oil filter and plug were missing, the oil pan plug was a hairs breadth tight (and had been dripping oil), and one of my locking lugs on my wheels were missing too. Keep in mind, the wheels of my car had not been removed since new except for Midas to rotate at ~15,000 miles. After the entire experience I am convinced that the workmanship here has not been acceptable. I am extremely frustrated with my experience and will not be returning.ORIGINAL REVIEW 08/2018: Had a Groupon for a very inexpensive oil change so I figured I would give the location a try. -1 star for a very long wait, there were about 2 vehicles in front of me but it looked like they were short staffed as they were not turning them over very fast. I also noticed someone using one of their bays for (what appeared) to be personal use to mount new tires and wheels to his truck as he wasn't dressed in Midas attire and upon completion left the shop in the truck he was working on. I waited for over an hour, then left and returned about 30 minutes later and they were finally ready for my car. After getting it on the lift the oil change was fairly fast, around 30 minutes. Upon returning the car there were some smudges of grease/oil on the seat and door but after informing them they promptly cleaned the areas, so no hard feelings there. Overall if the wait wasn't so long I wouldn't have had any quarrels.
