With my daughter at A&M while mom and dad are several hours away, it s always good to be able to trust a local mechanic to shoot straight with you. Ryan was very helpful! He took the time to listen to my concerns and explained what needed to be done, did a full price break down before doing any of the work, and kept me in the loop during the whole appointment. 10/10 I would recommend this location.

10/10. I was able to make an appointment on the same day I needed service.I arrived about 5 minutes early, the check in process was pretty smooth, and I was gone within 30 minutes. They also have the tap option, which is very convenient and easy. Will be returning!

I swung by the shop moments before closing not realizing what time they close. Yet they still offered their assistance . I explained to them I was needing to get my alignment done and they said no problem and got right to work. They were the most honest and friendly staff one could ask for! Not once did anyone try to haggle me about buying something I did not need like most shops would . These guys were the absolute truth and I 1000% recommend this shop to anyone in the area needing any kind of service on there vehicle !

They were great! Got my brakes repaired without issue. They were also really upfront about what car repairs needed to happen now, and what could be optional to add on, which I appreciated.

James was awesome and catered to what was needed only to get me out on the road safely. No pushing product like other places trying to sell you. Fast, good work, and honest! Definitely will be back!

Replaced the inner and outer tie rod ends and the sway bar bushings. The sway bars were tough to install, but the lead mechanic and assistant manager stayed late to finish the job! Excellent service!

Brake check is my go to for a quick oil change, brake service, and a simple alignment check up! Fast, convenient, and always friendly, plus every other oil change is half off!Just got a new (to us) work truck, and had a little shimmy when braking, these guys took care of it in a flash!Go see the guys at Brake Check, tell 'em John sent ya!

Absolutely great place, replaced my rack and pinion in less than 3 hours. The staff really cares about the safety of their clients while also being reasonable with prices. Definitely recommend.

Always excellent service at the Bryan/College Station location! We ve been coming to this location for over 10 years. Seems to be a lot of turnover, but finally has a manager that has stuck and has wonderful customer service. I had a concern with my car while driving out of state. He took my call and assured me everything was fine! Can t recommend this location enough!

Nice spot for quick oil change. Professional and average prices. On weekends they are short staffed so be prepared to wait longer than usual. The employees were friendly and courteous.

I went to them the other day for squeaky breaks. I had my break inspection at 2pm and then they called and told me what I needed. I decided to get my breaks done the same day and they had my car finished by 5pm. Great service with reasonable prices. I definitely recommend them and will be using them again! Had an alignment done with a whole brake overhaul a few weeks ago. The alignment shifted a couple of days ago. Called and got in and out the same day. Had to have it done a 3rd time because it was slightly off. Got me in and out again. Feels like the alignment is now pretty spot on. Not thrilled about a couple of visits but with a full change of the braking system after 10+ years, it was expected things may not be straight forward. The customer service was great and I feel I was not upsold and I am happy with the overall experience. I ve been going to this break check for years now, because I trust their work and management! There are up front and don t charge you for what you do not need. Do a great service and fix it right and what you do need and stand being there work. My mom comes from Cypress just to have him (this location) do the work and service on her car. I went in to get my brakes fixed, had stuttering brakes. Left with stuttering brakes plus a rattle. One of my calipers weren t even bolted in, BOTH bolts missing.

Can be understaffed occasionally, but the oil change service is usually fast, convenient, and offers a good discount. These guys really got me out of a jam when both front wheel bearings failed in my truck. They accept synchrony financing and utilize their autotransferrancy system which does a good job updating you on estimates and repair updates. Absolutely the best place in town, super trustworthy and they don t try to get you with any tricks. They have very reasonable prices and walk you through everything and allow you to choose what work you want them to do. They show your parts and the required specs and work with you as much as possible. Definitely recommend and will absolutely be visiting them for any maintenance work I need done.Service: Brakes

Great experience! Had some issues with our car's brake system, specifically out of place noises and low brake efficiency.
