TJ Is ripping people off.. greedy, greedy-i ve been turning wrenches a long time not once have I ever heard of an oil flush needed for $40. Every time I send my parents to this place to have an oil change. They are always trying to upsell I would also like to note that your vehicle oil does not have to be changed every 3500 miles you should ask them what the oil manufacturer recommends usually it s 6500-10k some oils last as long as 20k.**Update - as you can see below they can magically determine for you that your oil is bad without testing the oil first let me guess the color of the oil? that has been proven to be a false conclusion. I checked that oil last week and it was still golden. But they insisted on having it changed. But TJs said it needed to be flushed don t trust these people when they try to upsell you. If they open up your front/rear axles to inspect without you asking kindly tell them to replace it for free for contaminating something you didn t ask them to check. Same with your cabin air filter- some oil changer just placed there nasty hands all over you cabin air filter without even asking first gross. The color of your oil or axle grease does not tell you if it needs to be changed out or not. If they have testing results from a portable viscosity machine well then if that shows bad change it out.

Overall experience was good. Most show up with an American car and leave. I showed up in a 4 cylinder BMW diesel X3. This type of car needs a specific type of oil, and filters are typically harder to get. I believe some confusion came into play about someone with an X5 model. So they did not have the right filter and may have put the wrong wt oil in. Some assumptions were made on my part and theirs. Luckily, I do 98% of my own oil changes for the past 35 years. They corrected their mistakes without complaint. Yes, it took longer than expected, but I was impressed how friendly and eager everyone was to get it right. The teamwork on everyone's part was nice to see. While I may do most oil changes myself, this place would be my top pick. Just call ahead if you're showing up with a different type of auto than normal, and I am sure everything will go like clockwork.

Prompt, courteous, no long wait. The waiting room is clean and the work performed quickly and at a reasonable price. Rare combination of qualities in an auto repair shop.

This place is amazing! Top notch service! Plus they have a free soda machine with a million flavor combos! Legit the best oil change place I ve ever been. I don t normally write these reviews but this place was good enough to get me to post this!

WOW!! Fantastic service! Didn't try to sell items which were still in good working order. Very clean and spacious waiting area. The receptionist took her time to answer all my questions.

This was my first but not my last visit here. The employees here are extremely nice and personable. The service men checked my car thoroughly, told me what was necessary and pointed out things that would soon need attention without trying to upsell something just for the $$. Thanks guys. This was my first time getting my car serviced from TJs. I must say this place is simply amazing. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and didn't pressure me into buying all kinds of additional products(they were offered, but I felt no pressure to buy). The prices were fair with popcorn and a soda machine.Very nice place.

They lied to me about changing my cabin air filter, which I did not approve of them doing in the first place. Charged me 70.00 for something I can do myself for 15 bucks. It took me 10 seconds to remove it, take it back in, show them, and then they gave me a refund only since they don't even carry my size filter! They didn't even try to give any explanation. I liked them, but now I won't go back to a place that takes advantage of women, or anyone.

I am giving this business a 5* review because they corrected a mistake that was made during an oil change the gentleman I spoke to Garrett gave me a fair compensation and took the matter seriously while he investigated my documents as well as stayed in contact with me! The reasoning behind my review is to let folks know that they do stand behind their work and are willing to listen if you have any concerns!Service: Oil change

Ultimately, the experience was 2 stars. The staff was friendly, it was busy but they moved the line quickly, the price was good and I loved the Coke machine. Now the pros, a week after the oil change, I noticed a large amount of oil it was leaking while the vehicle was running. I took it to our local place to take a look at it and they found out the wrong size of filter was installed. They replaced it and the problem is now fixed. Since that is the main reason of the business, that is why I am giving them 2 stars. Everything else was great.

They estimated I would be finished in 45 minutes and they were right. (They were busy too) They changed my oil and even vacuumed inside floor boards, cleaned my window, and topped off the air in my tires. They have complimentary coffee and popcorn. The staff were very friendly. They even gave me a free drive-thru car wash. It's a very nice place - and quick.

Small waiting area, but able to social distance. I always go here for the state vehicle inspection. I got my oil changed for the first time here. Very good service, topped off all fluids. I got a free air freshener for my car and a ladies free car wash! The girl at the front desk is very personable and communicates everything to the customers, very pleasant. The waiting area is clean and had popcorn and coffee and a fountain drink machine for customers. I am truly satisfied with my service and will always return for business.

I needed a state vehicle inspection and was in and out more quickly than I had expected. Great service and a good price.Today I needed an oil change and was amazed at how quickly I was out of there.

Great service, courteous staff. Super clean waiting room with complimentary soda fountain and fresh popcorn while you wait. Service is very thorough, even topping off all fluids during oil changes and checking wearable items like belts and filters for replacement. The only criticism is their pricing as they are more expensive that some dealerships around town. But considering all that's included for the price it's hard to complain.

Had oil change in brazoria worst experience ever. Didnt top off fluids or vacumned the car. 2 weeks later i noticed oil everywhere. Took 3 quarts. Crawled underneath oil filter totally loose. They didnt offer anything other than $5 off. I went back up there they didnt even tighten up

Turned out to be a bad experience, started with 5 vehicles being serviced before myself as I waited at least a half hour, so sure I would be a little bit angry, finally was waited on and ask for a oil change and a radiator flush well to make a long story shorter, well they'd id the oil changed the air filter and a new drain plug , waited to tell me that a plate was in the way so I asked him why he couldn't remove it? Thought he was a mechanic, he had remove something to change the air filter, at this time the cashier got involved and told that I should leave and don't come back. Well not a problem, through the years I have taken several different autos and trucks there and felt loyalty to tjs but today I feel REGRETFUL !!!Service: Oil change

I used to love TJ's Lube Stop. But my last two experiences have been terrible and I am not going back.Both times I was there for 2 hours. Last time it was because they just forgot about me. This time it was because they ran into issues and did not inform me until I said I had another appointment (which I was late for, because, when is anybody at an oil change for two hours much less two times in a row). They didn't even get everything done in that two hours and said I'd have to come back (because I have another two hours of my life to waste). Both times I was offered a discount, which just ended up being a free car wash, not a discount on the services performed. I already have unlimited free car washes from another place, I don't need that form of "discount."I was telling this to my friend who said she has had similar experiences lately and that they have really gone downhill this past 6 months - year, so she is already trying other places around town. They are still nice, but the speed of service and communication is terrible. I already gave them a second shot from the time they forgot about me, and they blew it. I will not be going back and will recommend to my friends/family that they do the same.
