So after many years of loyaly going to J for my auto repair's, I learned today that there is now a new owner. However, after today's experience, I am just as confident in him and his team as I was in J. This is because after going to FOUR different places for my brakes squealing (two of which are also well established places that included a place I exclusively went to for brakes, tires, alignments, and such), nobody could figure out why it was squealing. Each swore up and down that my brakes pads and rotors looked fine. I finally took it to J's even though I didn't usually bother him with this particular type of work, and met the new owner. He wasn't even able to replicate the conditions that were making it squeal, but because he believed me and ACTUALLY took the time to check properly (I guess? I really still don't understand what everybody else's problem was as they each heard it squealing. Who knows.), he was able to find the issue and explain my options to me (P.S. - his recommendation wasn't even the most expensive one). Now it's finally fixed and I don't have to be super embarrassed every time I'm inching through my kid's school pick up line anymore! Anyways, just wanted to thank both J for making sure he didn't leave the reputation that came with his business' name to someone that had any less integrity than he did, and to the new owner for caring and giving me my sanity back!

This was the second time I have brought my car here. I haven't been in the area for long (about 1.5 years) and they are amazing! My car was stalling out on me and I brought it here unfortunately the first fix didn't work so I brought it back and they found the problem and fixed it for free! It's hard to find that kind of service anymore. I applaud this buisness and will continue to being my vehicles here!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I have used Jay (J's Auto) on numerous jobs for my vehicles. He has ALWAYS been honest & fair with me on what is wrong with the vehicle & repairs accordingly. Always tell you what the cost should be & pricing has always been fair on my jobs needed. J has been my auto mechanic for a number of years. He is great at what he does and is a very nice and honest man. His shop is also very neat and clean and is a very pleasant environment. I cannot imagine trusting my car to anyone else.

Today on 6/30/21 I recently had a problem with my air suspension on my Mercedes Benz s550. He told me there was a big crack on my air suspension compressor and it was going to be 768$ to replace. I wanted to save some money and do the labor myself. So I paid the 90 for the service to inspect my car. Once I took off the old compressor myself there was no visible crack or leaks. Im not happy about that comment and I feel like my car wasn t properly inspect. Waste of 90$

I am a mechanic by Trade I honestly do not trust anyone to touch my truck....Except J s shop when I can t get to doing the job myself !! Awesome Staff and super friendly. Mr. J is very personable and provides some of the best services in town. Do not Hesitate! Just did a transmission swap ...rear main seal... exhaust and driveshafts on my 7.3 and No he did not over charge me... most Fair shop in Brazoria County.

Took my car to J's Auto after three different shops were unable to locate the issue. The car would not start and it wasnt for the regular reasons. J's Auto had my car diagnosed within thirty minutes and completed the repair in ten. The wiring harness had been damaged. Extremely clean shop and J was extremely nice and courteous. Will take all of my vehicles here fro now on.

I was referred to J's Auto by a friend who had the rear end on his F-150 replaced there. I use him for all of the major repairs on my vehicles because his prices are much more reasonable than a dealer. He has completed:Ford F-150: Complete brake job including converting front brakes to a style that enables me to just replace rotors w/o the hubToyota Sienna: front brake job, steering rack replacement, AC compressor replacementSome work was completed in just a days, when he was really busy I had to leave my truck.

We have had many vehicles worked on at J's and he had always been fair and honest.
