After two other companies provided roadside service on our Kenworth (and still didn t fix anything!), we very slowly made our way toward this shop. They FIXED the issue for only a few dollars more than the first company charged just for the wrong diagnosis. The man that answered the phone was incredibly kind and knowledgeable as well as the mechanic that performed the work. Now we can finish our trip to California! Thank You a thousand times!

Charges for work Not needed!Come with a problem, leave with the same problem and an unbelievable bill. A very Un- American business practice!Pictures show my truck being towed away for $900.00 for 3 miles. Thanks for nothing Panhandle repair!

$85 to take off a low tire and put on the spare!! They didn't even take a tire off the rim, Or have to go anywhere! They only had to physically move the jack 10 ft Some bull right there!! I will never go there for a damn thing again!!!

We can t say enough good about this place. Our Kenworth was derating and nobody could figure out why at the previous 3 stops we made, including a Kenworth dealership! This place took us right in and had the problem diagnosed in a short amount of time and fixed in just a few hours! The people here are awesome, and the prices were fair! We highly recommend this shop and would give them more stars if we could!

My sons storyIf you are ever in Clarendon and need a flat fixed or anything else stay farrrrrrrr awayyyyyyy from this company.. I needed 2 new tires and a flat fixed an hour and a half at most to do this little job.. I showed up at 11:20 am and it s now 2:11 pm 3 hours in so far and he s only got the 2 new tires on .. on top of that mid way into replacing the 2 tires he stops and goes to lunch for an hour like who does that!! This place is a complete joke and no telling what they are going to charge for this completely horrible service..

If you are in a hurry to get your truck back on the road, don't take it here. My truck sat here for 4 weeks, I got the run around every time I called. When I said never mind I will take it somewhere else, they handed me a bill for $300 and for what?

I have used Panhandle Road and Field for 6 years now and have never been disappointed. Everything from hauling Bucket trucks to engine overhaul. They have never let me down!!! 100% Best shop I have dealt with. We used them at Higher Power Electrical , BHI Energy and now with Transform Power Services and have always been fair , professional , and great guys to deal with. Being a small business owner I know I can trust them.Services: Long distance hauling, Local hauling

Very unprofessional and rude... price gouging at its finest..They charged me 2 service calls. 2 fuel charges, 150.00 to go get a warranted power steering pump at Freightliner 5 hours at 145.00.. my price was 596 at first..Then 1300 the next day. we stayed overnight again because pump wasn't the issue. Issue was gear box which he stated he had...No parts and truck still not fixed.. He told my driver I was beside myself for asking questions about pricing and he didn't want to speak to me anymore... Tow your vehicle or truck a little further.. I read the reviews and thought I would still give a try.. BAD CHOICE

Had a piece of rebar stuck in our tires on a Saturday if all days! They got us right in and fixed our tire within an hour! Very reasonably priced and super friendly! Thank you for the amazing work.Service: Tire changeService: Tire change

Family owned. Everyone was great!! I appreciate how fast they worked. They did a great job on the truck. Towed us (truck & loaded trailer), maybe waited a little over an hour. He dropped us off at a hotel close to food & store. Got us fixed up and on our way. I'm very thankful

The owner and all the employees are absolutely amazing! Our big truck had to be towed to have an injector repaired. From the time we called them until they arrived was 45 minutes!! So impressed! They fixed our problem very quickly putting us on the road. We can t say enough about these folks!! They are so nice and happy!! The shop was spotless!! Such nice and honest folks! We even had donuts and coffee! Cal thank you and your employees for all you did for us ! Such an amazing shop!!Service: Special vehicle towing

We were on the side of the road with a flat. Our spare didnt fit so we called them. They came out right away plugged our tire and we were back on the road. Best pray you don t break down and have to call these people and if you do get ready to be bent over on the price and services. Outrageous pricing for tow services and even crazier for mechanic work which left me stranded again that s how I ran into Keith s Service center in Claude a few miles up they fixed the problem I had and was back in the road. Highly don t recommend this tow service Or mechanic.Service: Car towing

This places was Awsome Daryle went above and beyond. People on here complain about price haven't owned a truck long.I called them at 3 am they had me picked up and brought to there shop by 7 diagnosed my truck and did it at a competitive price I just wish they were closer to my house so I could go to there shop more often. Thanks I appreciate everything.

Wow, had a fantastic experience with an employee named Darrell. He helped me resolve my simple car issue over the phone so we didn't have to get towed or spend any money. So grateful to people like this who are willing to help with a heart full of knowledge & altruism. Great work ethic!!!

Dustin came about 15 minutes before ETA and swapped out our bad u-haul tire. He gave us a courtesy call a couple of minutes before arriving and gave us some excellent advice on our tires and their condition. I don't think our misfortune could have been fixed any faster.

This group is great. Very friendly and accommodating. They get the job done. Cal the owner is very polite. Mechanics are all super nice. Carmen is very polite and professional at the front desk.

Highest Integrity, Quality and Professionalism as well as reasonable prices! Cal, Sherrie and the crew went above and beyond to get my truck back on the road in good shape. I arrived there at 5:30pm...they worked until after 11pm. They understand how important it is to keep our trucks rolling. Thank you for repairing my DPF, issues, cleaning and changing other filters, tightening and securing loose fitting, giving my truck lots of tlc. I found my new shop! Terri Freeman Owner Operator

I had a tension pulley and belt break on me. They got me up and running ASAP! Their prices were very reasonable. Great place to do business with! Friendly faces all around! I highly recommend them!

I am responsible for fleet maintenance for a trucking company in all 48 states and this is the absolute worst shop I've ever dealt with. They know they are the only shop around for miles and therefore jerk you around and fill you with lies. My final bill was $2,000 higher than my initial quote, not to mention I had to have the job repaired the next day because bolts were missing and the "fixed" parts were leaking. No one made any effort to get back to me after several requests to talk to Cal. Very poor quality and I even got an "I don't know" when I was asking about a issue regarding oil temp that took my local mechanic 10 minutes to diagnose. This place has incompetent employees that do poor quality work accompanied by zero customer service.

Went there after 2 days of struggling with no regen on my truck. The mechanic was awesome and actually took his time on figuring out the problem. Something TA and 8 hours of waiting couldn't do!! I highly recommend this place. Prices were reasonable. Will definitely go back to them.

It's a family owned business that is good at what they do. They provide the help that is necessary for the truckers that are stuck on the side of the road to be able to get back on the road. They get the job done. Thanks to Mr Thomas Shannon, Darrell and staff.

No hem hawing around about it, these people are thieves!! I really can't believe there aren't more reviews on here. Like the guy in the other review said, it's highway robbery and they aren't shy about it. To make a long story short, they charged me $400 for a $75 part and the total bill should have been maybe $500, but was $1100. I'm not just some whiner either. I've been around the block a time or two and I know truck service isn't cheap. I don't know how these people sleep at night. If at all possible, avoid doing business here. THIEVES!!!!

This should be zero stars! At no cost should you deal with this company - they lie, over charge and take longer than what they state.We have been in trucking business for 20 plus years and the attempted service by Panhandle Road and Field Services is by far the worse we have experienced. We called and agreed a price with the over the phone and were advised that the technician would be at the truck within 90 mins.The Technician took over 6 hours to travel 20 miles from their shop to where our truck was parked and upon completing the work they doubled their price. When stating we would not pay they threatened to tow our truck and report to the police.Even after agreeing a price and then doubling they threatened to tow and get the police involved. So much for Christmas spirit..!

Called Cal on Christmas day, his son came towed me from Memphis, TX great guy, had good convo, on our way out, dropped me at the motel. They were able to diagnose the problem (broken fuel line) ordered the part. They took a few days with the truck BUT they resolved the issue. They are pricey but they know Diesel engines. Thanks Cal, Chris, the whole team, and the nice young lady at front Desk.

Driving a U-Haul truck from Frisco, TX to Coeur d' Alene, ID which broke down about an hour from their Clarendon shop and a couple hours from Amarillo. They got to the broken down truck within an hour and then had to get it towed. The tow truck showed up as timely as it could have. They thought they could get the part in Amarillo and get me back on the road but the replacement fuel pump wasn't available and had to be shipped from the DFW area the next morning. Cal Thomas and his entire crew were awesome and very helpful, taking me to the hotel in his classic car and picking me up just as they were finishing the repair. They were as responsive as they could have been and got the part installed as quick as they could. They got me back on the road before noon with a truck that performed well for the rest of the trip. Really appreciate Cal and his team. Thank you.Oh Cal, I did make it to Buffalo, WY motel that night and was able to get into Coeur d' Alene late afternoon the next day. Really appreciate your friendship during this difficult and challenging time. Great bunch of REAL people. Take care and wish y'all the best.

Dont have your truck towed here! They take forever and lie about finish times and don't communicate or want to. Tow your vehicle to the next town! Please bypass this town. Pay the extra to go to the next town.

I read some of these reviews and idk about any of their services other than towing, they arrived in a timely manner and treated me with respect. Handled my car with care and dropped it off at the specified location. Blessed that I was able to have someone come by early in the morning. Thank you again!
