I was referred here and have not been disappointed. The service is exceptional and the work is very good and also they are for the people, they are not trying to take every dime from you and will not suggest that you get any work done that is not needed. The staff at EM6 has been very helpful and reliable and EM6 is by far my favorite auto technician in Houston. So if you need good work at affordable prices come to EM6.

WORST mechanic in whole united states.Summery:He did not fix the car and gave it back to me even more damaged. On top of that, he charged me for damaging my car and not fixing the problem at all. (see attached invoices photos)Detailed experience:I had a yellow engine flashing light that was limiting my car's speed. I took it to AutoZone to inspect the code. It gave me P1213, and the report indicated that the knock sensor needed replacement. To be certain about the error, I decided to consult a mechanic before ordering a new knock sensor.I brought my car to EM6 AutoTech, which turned out to be a rather disappointing choice. I asked the mechanic to check the issue and inform me. After dropping off my car and returning to work, he called me six hours later, confirming that the error was indeed related to the knock sensor and that it needed replacement. He quoted me $140 for labor and an additional $55 for the knock sensor itself. He suggested that he could order it, claiming it would be quicker than if I ordered it from AutoZone. I agreed.He instructed me to pick up the car the next day and charged me a total of $210.50. He mentioned that he had to replace the oil rings, which incurred an extra charge. He also informed me of an engine oil leak, which could potentially cause the problem to recur at any time. I questioned why he hadn't mentioned this earlier and why he had replaced the knock sensor if the oil leak was the issue. He reassured me, saying it would run for plenty of miles without issues.I drove just 1.5 miles, and the engine warning light reappeared, accompanied by a smell of smoke from my car's AC. I returned to the mechanic, and he suggested using thicker oil. He marketed a LUCAS oil product he had in stock and charged me an additional $20. He promised to replace the knock sensor one more time for free and I left my car with him.The next day, I picked up my car, but the same issue occurred again - less than half a mile, and the engine warning light reappeared, along with a new smell of smoke from the AC.I returned to the mechanic to request a refund of at least the labor charges. He refused and began arguing, claiming I hadn't paid for diagnostics. I contested this, wondering why he had charged such a high labor fee if diagnostics hadn't been performed. We argued for some time, and I eventually called the police. They advised me that I would need to take the matter to court, as they couldn't assist unless it was an emergency.In the interest of saving time, I decided not to pursue legal action and let the matter go. I have doubts whether he even replaced the knock sensor. I want to warn everyone about this fraudulent mechanic. I m a certified YouTube mechanic so naturally I don t know what I m doing. Em6 understands this and aside from being super professional about fixing my vehicles they really do care about client needs.No upselling or nothing like that, just recommendations. The owner is a down to earth honest dude.We re thankful they re around. They pretty much do everything car related.They have a pet turtle too; I don t think he s a mechanic through.

This is a wonderful shop! They do excellent work! The people are all very friendly and professional. I was recommended by a friend and now I take all of my work to them. They are reasonable and affordable and they get the job done. I will be their customer for life! Very professional, very quick and very reasonable prices. I HIGHLY recommend this shop. I went to 2 places to try to get my front driver side light fixed and no one would even try. The owner and the receptionists are super nice and personal.

Exallent shop! Good work, good timing, good overall experience! Reasonable cost, not hard to find, mechanic and office staff were just wonderful people and eased my mind about my car and the problem I was having with it the whole time I was there! With my last mechanic retired, I didn't think I would find a shop I could trust this fast! (He even does a.c. work)

I didn't have good experience at this paid a lot of money to have my transmission rebuilt and was still leaking it to certified transmission and they told me that my transmission still looked al original like it never been touched....
