I had my brakes fixed here today. The manager Michael was very transparent, friendly, and helpful. The price was reasonable and I even had a $50 off coupon that they sent out in the mail! Every experience I ve had previous has been just as great I highly recommend Sun Auto!

My girlfriend has been overcharged a few times before by this location but never by such an outrageous amount. $580 for a valve adjustment on an Honda 4 cylinder and oil change is criminally overpriced for the skill level they offer. I asked the labor rate and was further shocked when they told me it was $180/hr, that s $40 more than the closest competitor. So math time, $580 - $80 for the oil change leaves $500 for valve adjustment. Let s break that down further. No parts for the job but I imagine theres a shop fee let s say $20. That leaves $480 if we divide by a labor rate of $180 that breaks down to about 2.6 hours for an 1.5 hour job max. Even being generous with the estimate that s no where near a reasonable price or time. Easy to let slide when they nickel and dime you but that s outright theft. Don t bother scheduling an appointment either it won t matter. You re better off at a dealer than this place for the price. Also I d like to know how they determined that I need a timing cover and oil pan gasket without cleaning the valve cover leak that has leaked oil on the parts they claim I need to have repaired.

Stopped in because I punctured my tire somewhere on 183 on the commute home. I noticed the low pressure warning when my pressure was at 48 psi at 45 and 183. I watching it drop as I drove north on 183A. By the time I pulled into the parking lot of this establishment I was dropping below 20 psi. By the time the worker came out to look it was flat. They refused to fix my tire after it sat in the lot for 45 minute, stating that the sidewalls were damaged. When I pressed the tech he said that because the tire had completely deflated, and the full weight of the truck was on the flat tire, that the tire was no longer good . I had them inflate my tire and remove it from the shop, I plugged the hole with a good ole fashion screw and drove it home where I repaired it with my plug kit. Stay away from the incompetence at this shop.**Tires have less than 5000 miles on them**** Edited to add that the tire still holds air and drives fine. Still running on the plug done at home. STAY AWAY from this establishment at all costs.

Alan is Awesome, I am sure the rest of the service advisors are as well.Very patient, honest and knowledgeable. They fixed a bunch of stuff in a day!Thanks guys.Now Michael took care of me for my other vehicle, same thing. These guys are just awesome and they will only advice to replace what s needed.

I had my brake pads and rotors replaced just over 2 years ago. I should have had them looked at after the install, because I would still feel grinding and they were also squeaking. I was told that was normal. Warranty on parts is 24 months or 24k miles from Sun Auto. I work from home so I don t use car on a daily basis. I had an inspection done by another company and I was told my rotors and brakes were pretty bad and down to 3% and needed to be replaced. It s been just over 24 months and only 17k miles on those brakes. After spending over 1k and not even putting 24k miles on brakes I decided, to check out Brake Check. They offered an amazing price for replacement on everything needed. Half off from what I would have paid at Sun auto, if I had gone back to them. My new brakes and rotors from Brake check, do not grind and have not squeaked. Their prices were even better than the company that did my inspection.

Grandma here y'all to let you know if you need any work on your cars please take them to these guys over here they are awesome and they keep their appointments and in a timely matter I was in and out in no time with a oil change a full inspection and the price well they've got coupons but the price without a coupon is still better than any place that I have found and I've been driving for 40 years now so please take it from Grandma I wouldn't steer you wrong.Go over there talk to the guys they're great fellas Mike is the assistant manager and he is phenomenal but when you go over there tell him grandma said hi y'all

I had previously brought my car in for maintenance here & had a great experience which is why I decided to bring my car back in to get my AC control head fixed. I was told it needed to be ordered, so we scheduled the service & was assured they would have the part ordered/in by the set date. Long story short they did not have the part & I was not informed until 3 hours into my service. After discussing the lack of communication issue with Micheal & the promise of a discount, I decided to bring my car back in. Today I dropped my car off, and about 1.5 hours I receive a call that they were not aware this control head would need to be programmed (showing their lack of knowledge) & that they were trying to get a programmer in & that it would be an additional cost. When I said I could not make this work, the employee (Allen) said "you can talk with your family about the money & give us a call back". As a financially independent adult woman (that had not given him any reason to believe I was not) this comment was insulting & belittling. I asked if this needing to be programmed was common he told me yes, so had I been warned about this beforehand it would not have been issue but it was again their lack of communication. We decided to re-install my previous control head since the new one would not work. I was happy to pay for labor done, but given their poor communication, I was not willing to pay for the part. Allen was just overall incredibly condescending & tried to paint me out as the bad guy by reminding me several times that they were "eating the cost" of the part & he removed my discount from the previous/separate issue but at that point I did not have the energy to argue with him anymore.

The staff was super helpful and kind. I believe Michael was at the front desk helping me out. They did a whole visual inspection and gave me a very detailed list with what was good, okay, and bad. They didn t charge me for the visual inspection even though it was very thorough. I definitely recommend!

I won t use this facility again. I made an appointment for an oil change and arrived on time. After waiting an hour and twenty minutes, I had not received any communication and asked about the status of my vehicle. I was told that my vehicle hadn t entered the shop. I asked for my keys and left.To the manager's credit, I'll add that he called me the next day and apologized for what had occurred. He also gave me a free oil change.

Been a highly satisfied customer here for several years, as the continued superb performance of my 2018 Jetta has much to do with the equally superb performance, consistently, courtesy of the team here at Sun Auto in Cedar Park, particularly on my most recent experience today with both Alan, sevive advisor, and Adrian, service tech, where both of whom went beyond the call in ensuring my standard oil change was top notch. Grateful for the outstanding service, as always, from this establishment. Highly recommended!

Money Hungry. Charged me $118 diagnostic fee to tell me what I already knew. Then, quoted me almost 2,000 dollars to fix my air conditioning. Went to another place and it s going to be a third of the cost. After talking with a family member I was told that they also had a similar experience at this place and took their business elsewhere. Sun auto will 100% try to take your money for whatever they deem necessary on your car. Will never go to sun auto again.

I go to Sun Auto often, and am usually pleased. However I was upset that they create a coupon that they don t take. The CSA just said I wish they d quit running that coupon . However he would not honor it. I thought that as a repeat customer they would appreciate my business.UPDATE; Store manager David called me this morning, discussing what happened and quickly rectified the situation. As my go to mechanic I was happy to hear from him and not only did he apologize for the misunderstanding but he, as usual, made me again feel like a valued customer!Thanks I will be back!!!

Oh my Gosh! Totally Awesomeness!!!Tyler is the true example of people service! I think he s the manager. I had taken my car to 2 other repair shops to conduct a check engine inspection and give a quote. I was informed not only did my car need coils, spark plugs and engine system cleanse, I needed new tires. The 2nd business gave me a fair quote. But I wanted one more.So, I scheduled an appointment with Sun Auto. Went in on Thursday, 11/16/23. Tyler and another teammate were so easy to talk to. His mechanics ran the inspection. They were thorough.I received a text link which showed the red/yellow/green. Red, For highly recommended to replace our repair. Yellow for it may be able to wait a little bit and you know what Green meant; that s good to go.The most vital work needed was a tuneup. One not ever recommended and very essential, were my front brakes and calipers. Yikes!!!Tyler told me my tires were more in the yellow and could wait for the next 1 or 2nd oil change Tyler recommended the first 2. I agreed.Well I thought it would be a day before getting my car back. Tyler followed up on the status of a part needed. He called within 1/2 hour, to let me know my car was ready to be picked up. Voila!!! Like that, I m calling Uber for a ride back to Sun Auto.I appreciate the fact that Tyler was not trying to sell me on the unnecessaries. He sold me on safety and peace of mind.Thank you to Tyler and The team at Sun auto! I highly recommend you all!!

Mike was extremely courteous and took the time to breakdown all of my vehicle s repairs with me over the phone. He sent me pictures of everything that was going on with my vehicle, and updated me every step of the way. Will definitely be my go-to shop going forward!

Described my problem onlne and it appears to be commonky fixed by changing trans fluid. Came in to get trans flushed, they said it could cause problems and they should get codes first to see what the problem might be and that itll be a couple hours. Four and a half hours later i get told that i need my fluid changed (big shocker) and that it would cost 1,200 bucks. I cant fathom a world where thats remotely appropriate. Gonna try and find another place or just buy the tools and do it myself to save a thousand bucks.

As a single woman, I appreciate the respect and care Alan Corsentino and team provided during my visit on September 18, 2023. The team was quick to diagnose and repair my AC and other concerns within one day. Wow!! They were all so kind and so helpful. I m a real pain in the butt when it comes to my vehicles, if there is something broken, needs maintenance, anything that the vehicles need, I get it done right away. We have 2 pretty new and one with over 100k miles. After any warranty s expired, we only let one place touch our vehicles. SUN AUTO SERVICE, at the 1890 Ranch in Cedar Park Texas!!!!! Been using them for several years now and have had all the maintenance and repairs done only by them. The management and the mechanics are all incredible. They are extremely knowledgeable about all of our vehicles and they take the time to educate me, my wife and daughter about what s going on. Daughter is 18 and away from home for college for first time, it is very comforting to bring her car to them and have it looked over to be sure it s in perfect condition. If they recommend anything or find a repair that s needed they take pictures and send everything thru text or email for us to look at. The old days of worrying about a shady mechanic are loooong gone. Actually pictures of the repairs needed is so awesome!! I can make appointments online or call them up, either way, they keep the appointments and are incredible at keeping us informed on what s going on thru the process. Biggest mistake I made was buying a way to old of a car with typical wear and tear, and needed lots of work. Had complete brake system replaced, calipers, pads, rotors everything, the prices were excellent and the work was done super fast. Ended up buying a new used car with 50k miles and on the way home from dealer we took it straight to Sun Auto Service, they put it on the rack and checked every single thing. The car is in great shape I had a few things done to make it better but the guys gave us a full report on all the different systems in the car. With them taking care of our vehicles, it s one less thing I have to be worried about. Finding a great repair shop is a huge challenge these days, seems like there is always a new place popping up and I don t want to tell everyone about how great these guys are because they will end up getting so busy that I may have trouble getting my cars in. I m just the average Joe but in my 50+ years I have never experienced better service on my vehicles than Sun Auto. Thank you David, Alan and every one of the awesome mechanics, my wife and daughter actually feel comfortable going to the shop to get repairs, maintenance or even a silly question taken care of. No one else will touch our cars
