Adam proved to be a lifesaver. My car suffered unexpected rodent damage, and I was hard-pressed to find someone who could take a look at short notice. Adam not only welcomed the challenge but also exceeded every expectation.His approach to diagnosing and fixing the issue was nothing short of professional. Adam is the most honest mechanic in Austin hands down! He has been working on my cars for the last 10 years with honesty, integrity and fairness on price and time to deliver good work. Adam alway honor his work and warranty and always stays behind his word.This picture is from a recent where Adam diagnosed the problem with my car and immodestly ordered parts and replaced the compressor, condenser, and radiator. With no time I was back on the road and going. His knowledge and experience puts him at the top of best mechanics in Austin.Adam is an honest man and that s why everyone comes back to him for more repairs.

Adam truly restored my peace of mind around making sure I can drive safely from point A to point B in my 1998 Toyota Camry. I found Adam s car repair business Dollinger Automotive online after I encountered a loop with the local dealership around car repairs. I had just received my car back from the dealership after a couple weeks and was happy that my car s oil leak had finally been fully repaired. Two days later, while visiting a good friend of mine, his wife, and their newborn, my check-engine-light turned on and my car wasn t accelerating properly anymore while pressing the gas pedal. Gratefully, I made it safely to visit my friend and back home. I followed the advice of another friend from work and went to Auto Zone to have the check-engine-light code read. The crew at Auto Zone were incredibly helpful. They informed me that one of my spark plug wires was causing my engine cylinders to misfire and needed to be replaced. I imagined that because my spark plug wires were fine before bringing my car to the dealership, and because the oil leak repairs they did required working near the spark plug wires, that the dealership had accidentally caused the spark plug wire damage. I brought my car back to the dealership. They said they didn t cause the damage and that they would be willing to give me a discount to meet me halfway on the repair cost. Because I have a busy schedule, including work, I couldn t afford to continue a loop of paying & waiting for repairs only to find afterwards that something else in my car needed another immediate repair. I needed reliability. I found Dollinger Automotive online while searching for local Cedar Park Toyota Camry repair shops. I called Dollinger Automotive and reached Adam, who owns the shop. He was very friendly and about the business at hand. I scheduled an appointment for the following Tuesday. I drove my car to his shop Tuesday morning and by early that afternoon he had already finished the repairs! Also, he charged me a reasonable price. Adam has good energy and attracts good people, including his long-time friend Mike who he was helping with repairing brakes. I enjoyed meeting Mike in addition to Adam and had fun learning from them a bit about how cars work. Adam also has an incredibly nice dog named Rosy. As Adam promised, my 20+ year-old car held up through my recent state inspection and has been driving smoothly ever since he worked on it! I look forward to bringing my car back to Adam for maintenance within the next few months. Thank you for all of your help Adam! First time ever using this place. Adam, the owner took time out his busy day to meet with me and check what the issue was at no expense. He then explained to me what the issue was and clearly described what was happening amd the process needed to repair the issue. The price was very reasonable, the repair was performed within the time frame Adam gave me and the car operated better than before. I highly recommend this mechanic. You will not be disappointed.

I ve been using Adam for years on my 2005 F350. Adam not only handles all my maintenance items but also any additional service issues that I ve had including brakes issues, suspension issues, cooling issues, and various fluid leaks that come with an older vehicle. Adams is able to correctly diagnose and repair any issue that I ve brought to him. He s able to accommodate my schedule and most importantly, my checkbook. Adam has been my mechanic for over 10 years. From Honda to Subaru to Hyundai - he has fixed them all. When the dealer gives me a crazy price, Adam gives me a reasonable price. One time I called with a problem and he said, you should call the dealer, I think you are still under warranty . Guess what, he was right. Adam has my complete trust because he has earned it. You won t find a better or more honest man/mechanic to work on your vehicle.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Adam Dollinger, Dollinger Automotive has been my mechanic for almost 10 years. He just replaced the brake booster, O2 sensor, and a rack bushing that goes somewhere on the steering rack of my car. I have a 2004 Toyota Sequoia with 271,000 miles and a 1983 Chevy pickup truck with 162,000 miles. Adam is the reason they are still running. Adam has been taking care of our vehicles for years. The work is good and his prices are reasonable. He is reliable and has really come through for us on several occasions. Recently I broke an engine belt. Adam was out to me within the hour.

Took in my Toyota Camry to Adam and he did an amazing job. He replaced my timing belt, water pump, drive belt. Car was serviced much quicker than I expected and for a great price. Went to pick up the car and got to talking, mentioned a valve leak I've had for a while and he took extra time to check out that issue at no additional cost. Will definitely be returning to Adam with any services out of my league and will refer all my friends his way.

I am very grateful to Adam Dollinger. After a botched repair at First Texas Honda where their incompetence ended up causing me to break down on a major road in Cedar Park, I called him. I explained the problem and he had the part delivered before I arrived. He was able to fix my car in a very short amount of time even though he was very busy that day. He was also very reasonably priced! Thank you Adam!

I was new to Austin and was looking for an upfront, truthful mechanic. Luckily I stumbled upon Adam Dollinger and since the past 2 years he's been the only mechanic for all my car needs - timing belts, oil leaks, axle change, headlights !! His labor charges are very reasonable and so are the cost of the parts he orders. I would definitely recommend Him to Austin folks for all your car problems and I'm sure I'll be going to him for the rest of my car care and needs.

Tried Dollinger based on these reviews and still was surprised by how friendly and knowledgeable he was. Excellent value and care. So much better than corporate chain shops! Will be back for future car needs!

It is such a relief to be able to trust a car mechanic. The hidden jewel of modern living. I was shown; not told, what was wrong, what needed work in a way that even a child would understand. I've never felt this connection with my older car. I have a clear sense of what needs to be done. Great mechanic, knows what he's doing!He even noticed a leak (not what I was in for) and got under the car to take a picture so that the guys who did my oil change would fix their mess up. Real Mensch!
