Dependable diesel was referred to me by a few gentlemen in the Leander cedar Park Dad's group on Facebook. I'm always weary of taking my vehicles into a shop but let me tell you dependable Diesel is by far the most trustworthy place I have ever been to. Not only did they let me drop my truck off after hours but they held it for me for an additional day because I didn't have time to come and pick it up. Everyone is extremely helpful they are extremely thorough and no matter what the job they do not disappoint! I will be taking my beautiful 95 Ford F350 to them every single time!

Dealership refused work on my truck and this team got it done in no time at a reasonable price, I wish I would have found them years ago. They were super honest and got things fixed. I would highly recommend this shop.

Great people and great service! Finding a good local mechanic is never easy. A prior experience with another shop that said they specialized in diesel was less than spectacular and overpriced. But these folks took great care of me and delivered my truck on time. In addition, they saved me money when they found that one part wasn t needed and another could simply be cleaned. I strongly recommend them.

Fuel injection pump go out with the cold weather it was a couple months out warranty they covered it. Found # 3 injector that needed replacement and a few other issues that needed be addressed great mechanics and their front desk person Amy I she knows as much as the mechanics

So happy we were told about this place. We took my grandsons diesel to Christain Brothers in Leander and they were kind enough to refer us to Dependable Diesel. CB had worked on our truck before but told us we could get a better price and faster service from the diesel shop since they work on them daily. Dependable Diesel is the best shop for Diesel work. AND they have a warranty on all work done! We definitely will be using them again.

I would highly recommend these guys. I called lots of shops to try and get my truck in for repairs (2003 GMC Duramax 2500HD with the LB7. Most shops here in the Austin area only work on one brand of trucks. These guys do it all from cars to diesels. I had my injectors and other little repairs done at the same time had my truck back to me in just a couple of days after I dropped it off. Gary & Amy were very responsive throughout the whole experience and the team overall was a great to work with I will be coming here for all my future work.

Referred here by Christian brothers because they specialize in Diesel trucks. From the first phone call I was confident that these guys knew there stuff and sure enough they did and were able to narrow down what I thought was a much worse issue to something simple and easy. They were kind about it and explained it to me well. I ll surely be using them again in the future and recommend them to diesel owners.

Everything is great about this place! They towed my truck to their shop from my house(25 min away) for 1/3 the price of any tow company and diagnosed my truck quickly, given how busy they were. They repaired my electrical issue in less than a day once they got the parts. It s obvious they care more about serving their customers than making money!Service: Electrical repair

Gary and his team are excellent. Amy kept us in the "loop" with clear communication on our vehicles. Dylan and his fellow technicians all performed top notch service that only comes with education, experience and proper leadership in management. I've been bringing my old 97 7.3 here for about a year now and I've been exceedingly happy with the customer service and friendliness of Amy and Gary. Working with them is better than any other shop I've had dealings with in the past, I can't recommend them enough. They do honest to goodness work with very reasonable pricing. They've answered every question and concern I've had. They're very communicative, do good work, and all in a timely manner. Definitely bring your vehicles here and let them take care of you!

These people know what they are doing and get can get your vehicle out quick. I had to have extensive engine work done and a turbo replaced. Once they got the parts it took them a couple days. They went back and forth with my warranty company and really fought for me. Amy at the front desk always kept me updated on what was going on. Gary, one of the lead mechanics does great work and is very genuine and reliable. They are the only shop I will take my truck to. Did an injector job for me on my 7.3 and I m really satisfied with the service. I had two other mechanics throw their hands up in the air and call my rig a booger and an eye sore. One had it for 60 days and did no work.Gary worked with me on price and answered all my questions... even after I misunderstood him about price and got a bad case of frustrated sticker shock. Gary was done within 5 business days AND found and addressed completely unrelated, albeit minor, issues that would have become major problems without charging me. He had his shop open and had my rig running and warm at 7PM on a frigid Friday evening when I picked It up. Aired up my tires too!Good guy. Good price. Good work So far. Thank Gary! I ll be back.

These guys are the best in the business. Amy makes sure customers are taken care every time and Gary is a very knowledgeable expert. I ve brought a 2001 7.3 power stroke and a 2007 5.9 Cummins to Gary and he has fixed all my problems at an affordable price every time. He knows what he is doing and I will continue to bring my diesel trucks to him to make sure they last hundred of thousands of miles. I work these trucks daily and he keeps them running. Great place! My ac stopped working. I made the appointment with dependable . They got me right in and found it was my compressor.clutch. They also noticed my rear shocks were bad. I had them perform the work . They got me back on the road quickly. They have always been professional and honest when I have taken my trucks to them for repair. I recommend them to everyone I meet with vehicle problems.Service: A/C installation & repair

Although we've only had our new shocks for 24 hours the truck definitely drives better. We are hopeful that they may help enough to allow the hubby to actually feel comfortable driving our fifth wheel. The tires are in good condition but they are the heavy duty off-road tires which also contribute to kind of a rough ride so we're thinking about that as well.Now let's talk about Dependable Diesel and Car Care. From the very beginning when I put feelers out as to a few companies that might do this work for us they were very responsive and willing to give us a quote based on what we thought we needed. It feels like so many companies are reluctant to do that, like we are going to hold them to an estimate. The definition of estimate "roughly calculate or judge the value, number, quantity, or extent of." The reason we really appreciate an estimate is we don't like to go into debt and even though we may put something on a credit card we always pay it off immediately. In particular with an auto repair we realize when they get the vehicle they may feel it's something completely different or that it's more than is needed or less may be needed and we simply expect a phone call of explanation before they go forward.So the fact that they gave us an estimate almost immediately was a huge sign of the excellent customer service to come. They worked with me on an appointment and actually could've taken it in sooner but I wanted to be sure I was able to budget for it, so no problem, they gave us an appointment in the time frame I requested. It was more convenient for us to drop it off the night before so that is what we did. We were shocked when they called us shortly before noon the next day to let us know the truck was ready to be picked up and all was well. The shocks and the repair came with a two-year warranty.I didn't get to meet her but the owners wife handles the books, the phone the appointments etc. and my hubby said she was very nice and very easy to work with.I believe we have found a new auto and truck repair company. Of course we're hoping we don't need to see them frequently but it's very comforting to know that we feel we have found someone that is fair and gives excellent customer service! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

Gary and his team did an amazing job on my car. They communicated throughout the entire process and gave me the best price I could possibly find. If you need a good and honest mechanic who will give you the BEST prices, this is your place. I will definitely come back and I highly recommend them to everyone. You won't be disappointed!

The team at Dependable Diesel is a great shop at a more than fair price.I was in a bind and needed my truck back quickly and they got it done fast. Before starting they told me some of the issues I may come across, to ensure everything moved quickly and made me comfortable enough to give approval on the additional work if necessary. When I came to get the truck, they took the time to show me the old parts, and explain everything to me. They earned my loyalty, and will be the shop I refer to everyone.

This is the best service I have ever had, from start to finish. Gary communicated with me from the first call through the tow and through the whole repair. My 2003 Excursion is running better than ever thanks to Gary and his crew. Pricing is fair, and even cheap by today's standards, and work was accomplished quickly and correctly! Highly recommended for any diesel work!

Awesommmmme experience. Great crew, they fixed me up in great timing. Bonus Is I was stressing out an out of cigars the Owner gave me 1 of his to relax while I waited on my truck. Great service an friendly working environmen. Would highly recommend anyone.

Gary is a rock star. Knows his ford diesels and is proud of his work. He has a good team, keeps his home shop clean and organized, and really knows his stuff. I'm glad i stumbled across his company and will not hesitate to use his services again. Rebuilt my excursions rear end and it's working just fine again.

I just had my Ford Diesel pickup worked on by Gary Corson and his bunch at Dependable Diesel in Cedar Park, TX; extremely pleased and satisfied. Gary is the real-deal when it comes to true "auto-skill". He fixed some formerly reoccurring problems with my F-250 that had never been detected--and therefore not solved-- by other mechanics. He's the guy I've been looking for for fifteen years! And he's by no way limited to diesels or trucks. The shop simply has an aura about it that says, "you've finally come to the right place". Whew!

Took my very sick 2005 f350 6.0 diesel to dependable to try and make this a very good truck It took a lot of work but Gary has made me and my wife very happy we purchased a truck with such a bad reputation .He fixed our truck were others could not. This is the only place that will always have our business if needed Thank you Gary, Amy, and all of your staff for such fast and professional service
