Wish I could give 0 star! My tire installation appointment was today September 25, 2023 at 4:30pm. I dropped my car a little early and was told wait time probably one and a half hours. I waited nearly 2 hours and asked the progress. A lady, who worked in the garage, told me they are under staff. I waited another hour. The same lady told me they are not able to remove some of the lug nuts and they don't want to use force and damage the car. She asked me to go to a mechanic to change the lug nuts then come back for tire installation. She explained that they are not a mechanic shop and do not have special tools. They gave the car back to me at about 7:30pm, of course, no new tires installed. I wasted more than 3 hours there. In the end, I requested a refund. They refunded me. But it sounded like it was my fault. When I got home, I found one of the lug nuts was clearly damaged with crushed threads. Should a Costco tire center be able to fix the lug nut problem?

Costco members for over 25 years and have always purchased our tires there. We made two appointments for two vehicles for tire rotation and balance today (4/8) at 1:15pm and 2:15pm. Got here at 1pm and checked both vehicles in. They did not bring in my husband s car until 3:05 pm and that was after he said something to them. It s 4pm and his car is still not done! Should have brought it in for service at the appointment time instead of taking a walk-in. Absolutely not acceptable!! Not the kind of service you expect from Costco.

Never buying tires from Costco again. Road hazard warranty might as well be worthless as getting a flat serviced is practically impossible. Walk-in service is first come, first serve and are gone for the day within the first 10 minutes of opening. Showed up an hour before the store opened and STILL couldn t get a walk-in service appointment for my flat tire. The soonest appointment was 2 weeks out! It isn t safe to drive on a spare donut for that long and since I can t get a same-day service, I will have to go elsewhere to HOPEFULLY have it patched. If in has to be replaced, I guess I m S.O.L. Again, I will never buy tires at Costco.

Jordan is the name you must mention for help and advice. After some shopping at Costco, we stopped to check the tire air; as blowing air, I approached the tire area for assistance. Jordan helped us with a fantastic attitude; he clarified all our questions. He is amazing!!!!! - thank you, Jordan!

I wish I could give 0 star. My experience is the same as recent reviews. My appointment to change tires on 4:00pm, I dropped my car before 4. I was told it could take 2hrs. When I inquired around 5:45 for estimated time, I was told my car is just brought in to the garage. When I inquired again around 7:10, the girl who supervised the garage told me they had under staff, and could not tell me when it will be done. Plus the way I was responded was very unprofessional. Under staff is not my problem. If there is under staff they should not give the appointment to overload. I decided to take back my car with old tire and ask my money( $1200) back. So I went to see the store manager, Katie, explained what happened and asked what she could help. She went down to the tire center, and a staff told me whether I agree to proceed or not if they gave me back $50 per tire. Since I spent almost 4 hrs and I had to change these tires anyway, I agreed to proceed to change there. After 4hrs 14 minutes later I got back my car. I hope this review will help to improve the service of Cedar Park Costco tire center. But I will never use their service again.

I have shopped at a lot of tire shops. I will never buy Costco tires again. I spent $900+ on my wife s tires at this location. She ran over a nail during her work day (mobile business) between clients and had to fill her tire up every 45 min. She went right when they opened and Costco turned her away with a leaking flat tire and said they can t fix it they are too busy.. Any tire shop in this state would have fixed it even if you didn t buy the tires there (usually for free). You don t send a woman on her way with a flat tire to breakdown in the middle of the street.She then makes an appointment goes back the next day to fix the flat and get a rotation. She added the rotation because she had to make an appointment anyway, so why not. They take 1:30mins to patch a tire (with an appointment) and don t even do the rotation.Don t waste your time here. Anywhere else will have better customer service. The extra warranty isn t worth it.

I have the same experience as the most recent review. I got new tires installed on Friday, saw low tire pressure warning on Monday, when I visited the center hoping they would check, I was told to come back on Wednesday. Costco should seriously consider their prioritization.

Worst experience ever. The guy replaced my flat tire with spare and told me he ordered my new tire and let me wait for 2-5 business days. 2 weeks passed and there wasn t any update on that. When I talked with another guy on the phone, they told me the order was not made in the first place. I talked with them on the phone for over half an hour and got nothing but cold responses. Nobody told me the tire wasn t ordered and I called numerous times but no one answered the phone. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE service!! Won t recommend here to get your tires

This place is a joke. Don't show show up if your a few minutes lote for an appointment. I showed up 12 minutes late and waited 5-10 while the customer service guy helped another person. He stated my truck be ready in 1.5 hours. After 2.5 hours of waiting I called the tire center and didn't get an answer 3 times around there call system. When I went to pick up my car the guy said it wasn't ready and be another hour to start on a simple balance and rotation. It shouldn't take over 4 hours to get a balance and rotation done. The tire manager made it clear he didn't care and didn't even bother to provide an explanation except that I was late for my appointment.The best part is on my email it states: Members that arrive more than 10 minutes late may have their vehicle pulled in for their appointment when the next service bay comes available. Arriving late could delay the start of your service by up to 40 minutes from the time you arrive. They just don't care and don't value anyone as a customer.

They refused to fix a tire saying the nail is closer to the wall which discount tires fixed in 20 mins for free. Costco even asked me to pay 10$ for their time when they made me wait 2 hours to say they can t fix my tire. I mean who s gonna pay for my time? Disappointed in Costco brand

Agreed with all recent reviews. No walk-ins we re available and they are very understaffed. I had emergency flat tire and they sent me away at 10:30AM. 30 minutes past Costco was opened. Costco does great as store but this auto center is not at all up to the mark. They need to be improved badly. Also staff is not friendly for sure.

Costco sold too many tires than their tire maintenance services (it should be balanced I guess) even you must have an apointment and 1 hour waiting but it always behind at any day!!!

Very friendly staff. Buying the tires was an easy prides. The installation took a bit longer than I ve experienced at other Costco locations in the past. It took 2.25 hours to get them installed. They also don t have someone manning the Tire Center customer desk at all times. Have to wait a lot longer in a queue compared to other tire places.

I have always liked Costco Tire Center and have bought/repaired my tires for the last several vehicles I ve owned.The service at this location has gone down hill over the years. Not sure if they are understaffed or the employees here just need some retraining.With all new construction that s been going on in Leander/Cedar Park I ve had a number of nails/screws in the tires and they ve been able to repair them. The last two tires with nails I ve brought in for repairs I ve been told they are not repairable due to location of the nail and need to buy a new tire. I m not sure if they are truly unrepairable or if it s just lazy/overworked/un-trained (pick what ever the reason).On top of this I ve had to come in 2 times to get an appointment, they told me I needed to get to Costco by 9:30 to wait inline when they open at 10 am. By 9:30 I was the 5th in-line. By the time I made it to the service desk, one employee told the other that I was the 5th repair and to start turning away other repairs for the day .how is this a service department when you can only take 5 walk ins that you ve told to walk in and wait in line before opening (there were about 8 others behind me who were waiting before 10:00 am). I was told the day earlier that I am more than welcome to drive to another Costco location to see if they had better availability.They called me and let me know that due to the nail in this tire I d have to replace it and they have it in-stock. The employee told me that since I recently bought the tires in August they are covered with the warranty but I d still have to pay $110. I asked him how that number was calculated and he said it was due to tread I have left on my tire and the cost of the tire has increased and because I bought the tires on sale. When I asked him to explain what buying them on sale had to do with it he just went on to explain that I had already received a deal on the tire so $110 is a good deal cause I m having to pay against a full priced tire. This once again was just confusing and such a strange conversation which leads back to un-train/lazy/understaffed. When talking with a customer for goods and services they are purchasing make sure to know what the hell you are talking about.Not sure if this will go unread by the Costco Tire Center leadership but if you do. Fix your shop and get in order. Will be shopping around next time instead of blindly assuming Costco Tire Center is the best quality/service/price.

Pathetic. Attitude. No patience. Try Discount Tire. They want to help first and not make money.Called to get a tire fixed for a nail and if they had the tire in stock. The guy was rude, impatient and wanted to get off the phone as fast as he could. Never expected this from a Costco. Management should train their tire folks at Cedar Park better.

We had a flat tire this morning. We got enough air in the tire to make it to Costco and they took great care of us. We were in and out in less than an hour and the service tech was very nice and accommodating to my two young children. Very grateful for such a thoughtful and caring team.

I just want to share how helpful staff was at tire center, i visited different Costco while out of town due the flat tire that was purchased from Costco and they wanted to charge me full price. I managed to drive back and come to Cedar Park Costco and they were able to order replacement tire with just prorated price due the wear on tire. Everything is possible when you have people willing to help. Thanks you

They are more than willing to take your money but they struggle to provide the services you purchase. It s always something - system is down, we don t have enough techs, we only take two walk-in s a day, our appointment system is down. I will never purchase tires from Costco again!

This was my first experience dealing with the tire center here. I am honestly disappointed in the customer service. It s honestly sad. The guy was extremely rude and reluctant to assist. He refused to answer my questions and was extremely impatient. They then proceeded to ignore my inquiry regarding servicing. I will not be returning.

Came in at 12 to drop off car on 11/27, they said they were full for the day and couldn't work on it when they close at 6. My wife came back the next day at 10 when they opened and said they were full for the day. The only reason it got done is cause my wife had to speak with a store manager. It finally got done at 5pm, and when we picked up the keys we had to wait 30 min in line.

Sean from the tire center. I finished shopping when a woman asked for help with a battery. It had tipped over and leaked. Sean was very helpfull and helped us get cleaned up immediately.

Got a flat tire Friday night. Labored to put on the spare, only to discover that the spare was no good either -- first time being used in 10+ years. Early Saturday morning, I called my Safeco roadside assistance, which was also excellent, to tow the SUV to Cedar Park Tire Center and made sure I was the Tire Center's first customer. Original tires were bought from Costco. They determined that I was still partially under warranty, and gave me two new tires for half of the price of a new tire, put the two new ones on the rear and rotated the old rear tires to the front. They even fixed my spare by putting a new stem on it, and put it back to storage. It saved my day! It pays to buy tires from Costco!

Scratched the hood of my car during service, tire manager came out and was RUDE and insinuated I was lying after having to drive back over there for them to investigate then refused to do anything about it. Big hassle over a month of going back and forth with their claims department. After researching looks like this happens all the time- not worth the hassle. Go elsewhere.

I experienced what almost felt like discriminatory behavior. I walked into the Costco Tire Service area around 4:45pm with nobody in sight. I finally saw some employees in the service area and locked eyes with an employee. Surely they were going to come greet me. A couple minutes went by and figured maybe they didn't see me. I walked over the service area again locked eyes with all three employees cleaning the bay. I stood again for a couple minutes with nobody acknowledging my presence. Finally a man comes over to me and said "What can I do?" I said I might have a possible flat. His response was "Man, we close in 10 minutes." He then said "man." again... grumbled and looked over at his employees and started trying to get someones attention. I said "don't worry about it, I'll go somewhere else." At 5:05pm, as I'm driving away with a flat, I see a truck pull up and get serviced immediately. I felt very unappreciated as a customer and it makes me want to take my business elsewhere.

We were referred over by another Costco. They completely lied, did not honor the road hazard we paid for, left us sitting there for two and a half hours and then acted shocked that we were upset by the situation! Ian was no help and wanted to argue and talk over me. Never going back!

Be prepared to wait a very long time. But, prices are good and Costco is exceptional with service. They are pretty quick about airing up tires if you swing by Even though they are super busy all day, everyday.

Rude staff, not welcoming. They just keep you waiting forever. Asked to change tyre and these guys keep me waited, when asked got an answer saying if you want we can put your old tyres back and give you refund. Very rude and not competent staff. Not recommended.
