This review really pains me because I ve been coming to this Christian Brothers for 17 years. We ve always known coming here we d pay more but knew the repairs would done right and they d be honest with us. However, our experience today was like coming to a completely different establishment. The manager on duty was rude and treated us as if he couldn t care less. He definitely is no Dan and doesn t possess a fraction of the depth of knowledge like Dan had. We dropped the car off. They told us after a diagnostic that cost us $150 that they cleared the codes and everything was fine with the car so we came to pick the car up and the warning lights were still on. 30 minutes later, I received a quote for $4000 to fix the problem that didn t exist 45 mins earlier. The good news, they said, was that they were not going to charge me for a second diagnostic. Really? I called the dealership and read them exactly what I was quoted and they said if they had to do that same repair, it would cost between $1100-1500. We have an appointment with the dealership now and we will see.

I needed a state vehicle inspection on short notice and Christian Brother s Automotive was able to get me in same day with a guaranteed appointment. Highly recommend them for any state inspection needs. Unlike most other oil change places, they will allow you to schedule an appointment so you don t have to wait on a first come first serve basis! The service was quick and I very much appreciated their friendly no hassle service and help!

Great customer service! They were quick to address my oil change (I did have an appointment) and did my state inspection which save me so much time. Very nice and knowledgeable staff. Will use them again.

Not my first rodeo with CB but it was my first experience with the ATX location. Mark was simply outstanding. My vehicle was diagnosed within an hour upon arrival and completed the following business day, outstanding work from KB. Also, shuttled me to their location to pick - up my vehicle (no additional Uber money was spent). Supplied pictures of the damage. I will say the price was decent but still costly. My new radiator comes with a warranty that always was discussed. All in all only have good things to say.I would like to see more community outreach about vehicle management especially for women. I think this would help us identify issues sooner rather than later.

I dropped off my car to fix an issue with my Jetta's sun moon roof malfunction. Unfortunately that same evening, I had to be taken to the ER with a sudden heart condition and was there for 2 days . Christian Brothers said they would keep my car with them until i get home, which was very polite!. The doctor advised me not to drive for few weeks. I explained the situation to Ramero,service rep at Vista Ridge location and he immediately said they will drive my car all the way home and drop it off. I didn't expect them to do this kind help. This is not part of the sun roof issue or by any agreement when I dropped my Jetta for repair. They were very caring and out of their own goodwill and kindness they brought my car to my house at no extra charge for delivery. I have not seen any such customer service by a business in current days!. Hats off to Ramero, Ryan and his team there at Vista Ridge Christian Brothers. Thank you guys!

My car was worked on at the time promised. The work was done quickly and thoroughly. The staff pointed out some things for me to consider having done to my car without the pressure I have experienced at other shops. I have no problem recommending this Christian Brothers location to anyone!

Went in with a $59 oil change coupon from facebook.. Though the coupon did not mention it, there was a limit of 5 quarts of oil. my truck takes 8 so I was charged about $12/quart for the additional 3. out the door about $110. Then the next morning, oil puddle in the driveway under the truck. Found the plug so loose I could tighten it with fingers. Glad they didn't work on my brakes. on a + side they did come to my house when I called. not really sure what they did because I couldn't wait around. Still have 2 stains on my driveway.

Great experience with Christian Brothers. Not the cheapest shop around town, but you can t beat their technical expertise and customer service. We will be back again. Great job everyone!

Really disappointed with them. I could not open the door on one of my trucks, they wanted $650 dollars to diagnose the problem, and said they had to cut through the door panel. I asked what the hourly rate was and they told me that they did not work like that and that they put what was wrong into the system and it gave a price and nothing they could do. I took it to another garage, they got the door open in two minutes and never charged me anything for looking at it. Needless to say me and my four trucks will not be using them again.

Very expensive. They take advantage of their customers even though their motto comes from scripture. It is not very Christ like to take advantage of there customer's. They wanted to charge $560 to replace a belt. I got a quote from a different mechanic and there cost would be $220. As a Christian I was looking forward to working with a Christian group and supporting someone with my beliefs. They will never see my business again!

Enjoyed my tune-up at Christian Brothers. I have an older car and they were so kind and gentle with the amount for repairs. I asked for suggestions about purchasing a used car and they gave me wonderful advise. Highly recommend them. Also added plus, Christian music playing while you wait!!

Everytime I've brought my truck in over the past few years they are less and less committed to fair pricing. Last time a yeti cooler was stolen out of the back on a tow in situation and they took no responsibility and this time they refused to waive or discount the $160 diagnostic charge on a $700 repair, so I will never be back.

Rips offs. Hardly any troubleshooting was done by Christian Brothers when I had warning lights on my dash, but I was told by Christian Brothers based on a computer code that "You need a new transmission" and was told it would be around $10K new or $8K old, even after I told them it would mean totaling my car as my car is not worth much more than that. This was even though my car was running like a champ. Upon asking what they did to troubleshot, I was told they did not even look inside the transmission at all before saying it was toast. I asked them a series of questions to see if they had done basic troubleshooting and they had not done even the most simple troubleshooting steps you could find on Google. I took it somewhere else and I only needed a part for around $1000 - so I was able to keep both my transmission and my car. But if I would have listened to Christian Brothers my car would be at the dump right now for no reason.

I needed a oil change on my charger so which we've also done on our own but with life didn't have time do decided to take it next store to my job, the guys are nice easy to set up appointment very friendly were fast my only complaint was it cost me 215.00 for just a oil change!I did it because car was already there i can buy 5 quarts on Amazon for 27.00 of mobile one i still dont understand why a oil change is that much but lesson learned .

I have found Christian Brothers Automotive shop to be trustworthy and affordable. They give detailed information after the initial diagnosis of whatever your car trouble may be. They provide pictures of their recommendations along with prices. Then, you can accept or decline from the choices, the work you want completed. They provide estimates and stick to their estimate, so there are no surprises when you go to pay and pick up your car. Their prices are competitive, they do excellent work, and they offer discounts if you qualify. Just ask them about them when you go to pay, and they'll happily tell you about them. I ve been here twice and both experiences have been great. I ve only ever gotten a state inspection. My car looked just fine afterwards, customer service was good and people were very nice and friendly. Inspection 1rst time around took 30-40 minutes 2nd time was like 15min. My vehicle had an intermittent blower motor issue. I drove it straight to the shop on a Friday afternoon when it stopped blowing during their business hours. They repaired and replaced the blower motor at a very reasonable price in a short period of time. I appreciate their professionalism.

Christian Brothers Automotive was absolutely amazing. I originally called to get a second opinion as a different shop was going to charge me close to $1500 for multiple items that "needed" to be fixed. Dan was amazing and gave me follow up questions to ask the other shop which led me to choose christian brothers. Turns out only the battery was dead and they saved me $1100 dollars. I will definitely be going here for any future repairs. 10/10 service and extremely trustworthy.Services: Battery, Oil change

The Vista Ridge location in Cedar Park is great! I have been taking my cars to them for several years now. They are honest and straight forward with what is needed for your vehicle. They are not pushy and they guarantee their work. I am very impressed with this auto service and I highly recommend them.

I had a horrible experience at this location and DO NOT recommend to anyone. I brought my vehicle in for service due to a check engine light (mis-fire cylinder 3). After paying for a diagnostic, said the problem was the sparkplug. They charged me approx $1300 for six sparkplugs and said they fixed the problem. 1 day later, the problem was back. I returned to talk with them, and the conversation escalated into an argument. Another service rep had to step in to apologize and help me. They kept my vehicle two days to diagnose the problem again. When they called me to pick up my vehicle, they explained they didn't know why the cylinder was mis-firing, and there was a new problem, a they vehicle over heats if you drive it for 10 minutes. Didn't have this issue prior to bringing it to them. They said they could do a diagnostic if I wanted to pay for it. I went to another shop, and they were able to diagnose the overheating was due to low coolant. They also informed me the air intake manifold was missing 8 bolts. These bolts would have to be removed to change the sparkplugs.I normally don't post reviews, but I hope I can help someone avoid the waste of time and money.

Needed brakes done on my work truck, I always dealt with this automotive place in Hutto, put it this way, I m still waiting on a email quote from them for my work truck that they always work on, it was quite surprising that I never got the email even though my company bring them a lot of business, I always seen Christian Brothers automotive around whether it was in Pflugerville or whatever I never dealt with them, I called them early Monday morning to get a quote, got it right away, took the vehicle in, and I was expecting a shuttle back home, because I was planning on my vehicle being in there for the next few days since Thanksgiving is coming up, surprisingly when I got there, they gave me a loaner and call back about three hours later, saying the work vehicle was ready and take my time to getting to them with the loaner because they close at 6pm, I was kind of nervous about using a loaner because I m used to my own vehicle, but it was the thought that counts, and from now on whatever happens to any of my work vehicle s Christian Brothers has the job, like I said the repair shop I usually deal with blew a good customer off,It would only took a few moments just to say we re too busy to get to you or we won t be able to get to you until after the holidays regardless, I m still waiting on the email quote since Saturday 11-18-23 that they say they sent a few times and maybe there s something wrong with my phone or email, but Christian Brothers responded, go figure, Thank you MARK!!!!

Found out our car needs a new engine, didn t get any advice except tow to the dealership . We expected to pay a diagnostic fee, and when it came to payment they called back to back in the morning during school drop off for $140 fee wanting payment immediately or we couldn t get our car towed back. We ve spent thousands with Christian Brothers on repairs already and couldn t believe they would treat us this way. I had my brake pads and rotors replaced at a different location and took the vehicle to this location and discovered they needed to do it again. They stood by the warranty and replaced everything at no charge. The really nice thing is that they just did it. I didn t have to argue or even bring up the fact that we recently had the brakes replaced. Any other place would have tried to charge me and I would have had to argue for them to do the right thing. Christian Brothers continues to run a great business for a greater purpose. I pray they get to hear the words Well done good and faithful servant .Services: Brake service & repair, Oil change

They were amazing! We scheduled drop off night before online. I dropped off in the morning at 8:30 for assessment. We got a detailed email with findings and all services recommended.
