Fantastic service, they are transparent about work, prices, and timelines. I would highly recommend them for any of your builds. They installed a whipple stage 2 among other components on my car and dynotuned it to 755hp at the wheels. The car runs great, it feels stock up until 3,000rpm and then pulls hard. I will be back for further additions to my build.

I inquired about swapping my camshaft to the same one I have installed since my current one has the infamous comp cam whine. I was told to email a build sheet and to come in for a quote. I came in and was told to email back for a quote which was a waste of time since I sent all requested info and even came into the shop. I asked for a ball park quote and was quoted $8k-$9k just to change the cam only. That's insanely expensive considering I'd have to buy the cam and already have the necessary mods.James and Jerry were great. Friendly and helpful. The front desk co-owner Stacey came off a little rude. I don't believe that was her intention but she has no interpersonal filter which can be a pro and a con. The google review replies are unprofessional and indicative of this.Had their price been more reasonable and their conduct more professional, I would've considered this shop but I honestly don't think they wanted my business anyway considering they quoted me more than double of what a reputable shop would charge for cam swap.

Absolutely the best shop around! Had a poor experience with a previous shop and Aikman turned it around! Did Pistons/Rods, Cam, Valvetrain, etc. and the car runs like a champ! Owners are very quick to respond to any concerns, and are flexible throughout the entire process. They also had Leverne Gibbs from American Icons Detailing do an excellent job detailing the car, it hasnt look this good the entire time i have owned it. Cannot recommend Aikman enough, i wont be taking my car anywhere else.

This is a top notch high end Chevy and Ford performance tuning shop. And of these people trolls that complain they wouldn t work on their old piece of junk, don t listen to them. And the other complainers want these expert craftsman to do the tune the customers way . No, you want it done right, you have to agree to allow them to do it the experts way . They fixed an electrical issue for me, that the dealership was never able to resolve. But I love these stories about the customer insisting that it be done their way, they take it somewhere else, and the blow up the engine. If you have a high performance automobile and want 700-1500hp with a professional tune .trust Aikman .and for the love of God be nice to the ladies at the front and on the phone take out your frustrations somewhere else learn some manners.

Best. Shop. EVER. Thank you so much to the team!Had to get some headache work done, which I was quoted a LARGE sum for at these other shops. Thankfully with the help of some great people, I knew what I needed (thank you to Boost Logic and The Shop HTX) so I ordered OEM parts, and the squad at Aikman were able to help me with the GTR.They tested everything, did research, and continued to check in to make sure things were done properly. So far so good.

The mother and daughter who takes the business calls are very rude. Seemed offended when I called to ask about their services for my (CHEVY) make car. Unless you enjoy being treated poorly, I do not recommend this establishment. They obviously don't need the business, and quite frankly, they need their attitudes tuned. Not impressed.

These guys are awesome. Took my GTO in for a misfire, and they had it back out and ready in about an hour. Also very knowledge group. Offered up suggestions for improving my ride and explained pros and cons to each. They'll definitely get more work from me!

Jerry and Stacey are great people all around, very friendly and great to deal with!!! I installed a magneson supercharger on my C6 vette and needed him to do a tune and dyno for me. They got it scheduled and done fast. Top notch work!!! Jerry also found a fuel leak we didn't see and fixed it for me. Thanks again for keeping my car safe and running like a bat out of h*ll!!!

Aikman Performance is the best! Hands down, no questions asked. From Dyno tunes, cam & head swaps, to maintenance, and every thing in between, Aikman Performance is the shop for you. Jerry is one of the most honest people you will ever meet, in any industry. Jerry and Stacey & techs will go out of their way to make sure your repairs, upgrades, or performance needs are met! Wonderful shop, family owned, and always a great experience. They are a very busy shop, so you have to have patience and plan ahead. THEY ARE VERY BUSY FOR A REASON, THEY ARE THE BEST!

Finally a tuner that knows what they are doing. I had my truck tuned by three other shops prior to Aikman performance, and was still dealing with hard shifts and high temperatures. The team at Aikman provided outstanding customer service and went out of their way to accommodate me. Most importantly, my Silverado is shifting and performing better than ever. I would recommend Aikman performance to anyone, especially GM owners.Services: Transmission, Auto engine tuning

Beens years since my car has ran so well. Even going back to when it was just a mild aftermarket cam tuned by another shop it never drove as smooth as stock. Now with tons of modifications the drivabilty is like it came from the factory this way.

The guys at this shop, in specific Jerry and James are awesome, knowledgeable, and hard working. However the lady's at the front desk are rude, unprofessional, and lack customer service skills. I think the shop does amazing work, but those ladies are runining the business with their rude behavior, and unfortunately there is no way to talk to the guys directly without going through those ladies. Skip the headache and go elsewhere for tuning services.Service: Auto engine tuning

I have had the opportunity to use Aikman-Performance on several occasions. All of them are top notch. They will advise you on your build based on what they have experienced...which is priceless. I had an LS7 pulled and rebuilt, upgraded heads and a mild cam, tune, shift light installed, fuel pump replaced and oil changes. Very reasonable pricing and they shoot straight with you. Did excellent work on my C7! Installed headers and did a dyno tune, and went the extra mile to recommend me additional things to protect my investment, and also fixed an issue with the oil level after the dealership I bought it from over filled the engine oil. They even worked with me on my time schedule since I was coming from out of town, and made the whole process easy and seamless. The car is running perfectly now and making tons of extra power! I can't recommend them enough! I won't go anywhere else for my performance work in the future!Services: Auto engine tuning, Auto exhaust system replacement, Auto maintenance

Took my C7 grand sport to get Jerry because someone referred him to me. I can honestly say I will not go anywhere else if I have issues with my corvette. Jerry and Stacey are awesome individuals and very knowledgeable in what they do. I'm not mechanically incline, but Jerry and Stacey took the time to explain everything that was wrong to give me a better understanding on the issue. Pricing isn't bad at all and worth every penny. Stacey/Jerry Aikman are some great people who offer great services. Brought my 95 Impala SS in for a street tune after an LS3 motor swap and they had it done to perfection in 3 days. Thought I'd already reviewed them, but, maybe not. Good technical work, personable owners, the work they do isn't cheap, but if you compare shops of similar workmanship and knowledge, they're a bargain.Be patient with scheduling, believe they're bringing on an assistant to help, there was a few issues there, but nothing that delayed the overall final product significantly.Also they were happy to adjust things after the sale, and were reasonable about working me in promptly, which says more about them than the paid service, imo.

Best shop I've been to in a long time. Definitely going to them for the rest of my build. They are upfront and honest about their work, even post pictures and videos of the work being done. One hundred percent would recommend to anyone in the Austin area. Thank you guys!

Hands down best folks in Austin for LS tuning and repair. I've brought my car there three times and will always go back. They talk to you, they educate you and you can tell they actually care about they're customers. Will never hesitate to give them my business and take care of my car.

THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER WITNESSED!!! Nothing but professional!!! Jerry took care of my 2016 Chevy SS by installing a Texas Speed Cam and worked his magic with a custom tune! Car runs great! As long as i live in Texas Ill only go to him and his team to squeeze all the HP and performance out of my grocery getter!!

Took my new ZL1 1LE to Aikman for a tune. Stacey, Jerry and the team did an awesome job and it's running better than ever. Jerry found some issues, got them fixed, dialed it all in. Jerry really takes the time to fix every little detail. Highly recommended.

I bought a truck a few months ago and have been from shop to shop trying to get my truck to pass inspection (emissions). Upon buying this truck it was in another county and never had to pass emissions. Long story short this was the 4th shop i took my truck to and low and behold after having my truck diagnosed and tuned it passed inspection. Great service and experience overall i will definitely be using this shop for all my needs with my truck. - Markus

Jerry at Aikman is the only person who puts his hands on my Corvette's. They are very busy, so if you're in a hurry, that might be tough, but there is a reason they're busy. Their quality of work is top notch, and Jerry will put the time needed into any project to make sure it comes out as it should.

My car was brought to them for a tune after I installed the new injectors and intake manifold. The car made 650 to the wheels prior to the upgrades and switching to E85. They needed to install a FPR for me and run the return back to the tank. 3.5 weeks later they said the car was ready. Got there and they said the car made good numbers then said she made 475 on a 150 shot. Mind you the car made 450 on motor before I brought it there.And somehow my pcm got switched out from a 2002 trans am. So now I inherited the problems that trans am was having. So I spent 1200 to make my car slower. At that point I was too scared to take it back to have any more tuning done.Really hate doing this but I got hosed bad.

If i could rate negative stars i would. Appearently business is going so well the lady at the counter can afford to be rude to customers, not return business calls, and tell potential customers that they are too busy to take any kind of business at all because better cars are there?As soon as I walked in the door i was greeted with a "what" I said I had left a message a while back but hadn't received a return call. She said "he's been in class out of town and we just got back." She the said "what do you want?" Still in a little shock i said i had a truck i needed to get worked on.She became defensive for some reason and said it will be 2-3 weeks before we can even look at it. I said ok. She asked if they had worked on it already and i said no, i was looking for reckhart performance and this was here instead. Ive never been here before.She then asked what was wrong with my truck and i said nothing, I need an LSX swap done as soon as possible and I'm ready to do it.She then said that it would be 2 probably 3 months before they will look at it because they have more important clients. She said we just got a corvette and a zl1. I said well ok then thats too bad, have a nice day. And she said mmmhmmm.Terrible experience, wont be recommending this shop to anyone i know. And this review will be posted in lsx forums. Even if business is booked up you cant be rude to customers for no reason. And you should refer them elsewhere. Im sure i can find plenty of shops to do the work. Hope she doesn't run the business.
