I came to do a state inspection and it was raining at the time. A guy came to my window with no smile on his face and bluntly told me that they are not doing state inspections at this time . He continued to say that it s rainy and wet so we re not doing state inspections so I called another location and asked if I could have my state inspection done on a rainy day and they told me to head over to their location which completed the state inspection with no issues whatsoever!!! Well, I guess I had to take my business elsewhere.

This place used to be my go to place but they go through people like water. Assist Manager smokes 500 cigarettes in the shop before opening! Ive seen them strip someones oil pan bolts by over tightening then blame it on the car, car was brand new by way! Also when i went to get oil change the assistant manager left my oil cap off i noticed my hood wasn't shut all way opened it up to find my cap laying off keeping hood from closing.

I came in for an inspection. They charged me $150 to "adjust my emergency brake." Only to then tell me at checkout that the e-brake wasn't the problem, I need brake pads. On top of that, now my entire vehicle shakes if I drive above 40mph. So they screwed something up. I do not trust this place anymore. Simple inspection turns into $150 and you all creating MORE problems.

4/24-My oil change light came on so I went to SpeeDee oil change since this is normally where I go for state inspections and oil changes. I sat down for 10 minutes and the young man came in and told me I had at least 2,000 more miles to go before my oil needed to be changed. Wow! Had I taken it to the dealership or elsewhere, I doubt they would have been this honest! Thanks For your advice and friendly service!My husband and I love coming to SpeeDee! The guys are so friendly and knowledgeable about automotive services and repairs. If you want excellent service with limited wait time, you have to go to SpeeDee in Cedar Hill.

When I called they quoted 85.99 for full synthetics. Got there there was a 30 min wait when I dropped the car they told me it is 95.99 for Mobil 1 I said that is fine. Then another person came back and said it is $20 more for oil filter because my car need a premium filter when I question why it should come with a filter, he said that for the premium the owner want to charge. And if I don t wanted it, I can take the car. At this point after waiting all this it is a little too late. I wish they don t mislead people like this and when they get there change the price on them you end up with $150 oil change. Should have taken it to the dealer would have been cheaper

Shawn was the first guy to actually be honest with me about my truck. We had some issue with my warranty/dealership and he took his time to explain things to where I would understand. Then the next few times I met George. He is a cool guy always wearing a smile and greeting you with a joke (out of building a relationship) I won t take my truck anywhere else if I can avoid it. They are great guys with good morals and great customer service. I would give ten stars if I could.Service: Vehicle Inspection

They were a little busy, but busy means great service and great customer service. But, service was still great, quick, and I was in and out. The tech recommend what was needed on my car, and DID NOT Pressure me to have it done right then and there, like other places. I live in the area and I've been coming here for years. There's usually 1 of 3 guys there and they've always been extremely courteous and helpful. There's a man there named Shawn who is really kind and helpful. I've also never waited more than 30 minutes for an oil change here. Highly recommend.

When I pulled in I noticed they didn't ask me what kind of oil change I wanted. When the tech gave me the evaluation he told me he just finished the oil change. I asked him what oil did he put in. He said the Mobile 1 synthetic. I told him I really wanted the mixed blend. The Mobile 1 is $20 more. I warned the other guy in the waiting room about it and he quickly told them to he wanted the mixed. Be careful, I think they are pushing the more expensive Mobile 1.

Employee wrecked my car!!!!Owner is avoiding me, giving me the run around. Terrible customer service!!!!!!!I took my car to get an inspection so I could renew my car registration when one of the employees damaged my vehicle by backing into another customers car and now the owner will not take responsibility of his employees negligence. I have made several attempts to contact the owner (10+ calls) over the last month and have yet to speak with him. According to his son and manager he is a busy man . I don t see how being busy is an excuse, especially when it involves a customers damaged vehicle at the hands of your employee.So far I have only spoken to George the manager who wrecked my car and he stated the owner did not want to use his insurance because George was on his lunch break. I guess that makes your business not liable for damages.Now I'm left with damaged bumper, rear door, and a broken tail light. I would suggest that no one do business with Speedy Oil since they can t even do what s right. I will update my post once the owner gets in touch with me or I have some type of resolution.

I ve been coming to this location for the past few years at varying times of the week and day instead of driving to my Dallas dealership for oil changes and state inspections. Almost no wait and if so, very small amount of time. They never try to upsell anything, they are friendly and always professional. Location is always clean too.

The same two gentlemen, have consistently serviced my car over the last couple of years. Always polite and friendly and helpful. The service is quick and timely. Highly recommend this speedy oil change.

This was my first time going to this place and I was first hesitate on going somewhere different because I have always used one place for my oil changes and to get any parts of my car fixed but I was very pleased about Speedee. They put the customers first and they are super fast and I love that! Shaun was the guy that helped me out and did my oil change, and he was excellent! He was very honest with anything that he saw that may need some fixing up, but he wasn t pushy about it and instead gave me an estimate and time to think on it. I will definitely be making this shop my new home for oil changes!Service: Oil change

I am always pleased with the service that I receive at this location. I don t ever feel like they are trying to get extra money out of me. They take care of business and are extremely friendly on top of that. I have been using this location for years for all of my vehicles and will continue to patronize them. I have been getting allMy vehicles serviced here for 4 years and they have be AMAZING ! I ve never had any issues , they are honest and communicate openly about the health of the vehicles and cost ! They also have SUPER SMOOTH & PROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE ! They treat vehicles as if it were their own! First of all I called this business to see if they did fluid checks on your auto and George answered, he was pleasant and professional. I took my car in and was immediately greeted by Shawn totally checked the fluids topped those that were low and checked the air in my tires. he was wonderful and professional. This has been the WORST experience EVER!!! Please DO NOT patronage this establishment. After going in for a routine oil change, the technician came out and upsold a recommended Coolant Flush, not because I had any issues, but stated that per Dodge maintenance it was recommended. I agreed only because the weather had recently began to change, and from that point on I have experienced utter hell, behind that decision. That same evening i noticed that my heat was blowing hot for about 5-7 minutes and then started to blow cold air. I returned the following afternoon to Speedee, to advise the technician of the issue, I was advised to remain in my vehicle until the mechanic became available, and began toggling with the heat console to in order for the mechanic to experience the same issue. The technician came out and drove my car into the mechanic, and within 2 minutes the mechanic came out and indicated that my Infotainment console was froze/ stuck on the homescreen, and he wouldn't be able to perform any additional troubleshooting... Puzzled, I advised him that this had NEVER happened before, and I hung around for about 10 minutes trying to start / restart my car to get the screen to function. I went home and returned within 25 minutes once the screen populated, and the mechanic immediately started to place blame on everything other than the subpar coolant flush. He had to contact a master mechanic via phone, and began to run diagnostic test, reset & disconnect batteries, and profusely state that the antifreeze was leveled and had been done correctly, and that it was just a COINCIDENCE that my heater stopped working after the Coolant Flush... at one point he tried to return and pretend like the issue had been resolved until i entered the vehicle and adamantly advised him that the heat was still not working. Once again he denied any blame and told me take it to the Dodge Dealership because maybe it was a heater core, or actuator... I asked him for the General Managers Information, and advised I would do just that and return once my issue was resolved. Fast forward to a month later after extensive charges from the Dodge Dealership and Budget Rental car fees, my case was referred to the General Manager, - Mr. Kirby, who I submitted Dodge Dealership Service repairs, via email. He immediately concluded that Speedee had no liability even though the Dodge Service Manager's information was included and he was and still is willing to speak with Mr. Kirby directly to advise him how the results of the subpar coolant flush caused my vehicles heater issues and subsequently caused me to have to REPLACE my Infotainment console, because of the improper coolant flush which was diagnosed via Dodge - incorrect coolant levels, incorrect coolant color & brand-Dodge/Mopar uses their own coolant), and per Dodge my car was HISSING profusely a major indication that the coolant flush was not bled correctly. Reasonable indications that possibly lead to heat being trapped behind the console, which lead to the Infotainment Console freezing on the home screen..(remember I mentioned that earlier on the revisit day to Speedee), It was explained to me via Dodge that the Infotainment console is basically the equivalent of a tablet, my Infotainment console had been compromised because of the improper heat circulation and had caused the Infotainment Console to malfunction during that revisit to the Speedee, and I was advised it would continue to malfunction and needed to be replaced. Mr. Kirby, has refused to accept any liability did his own interpretation of what he felt Dodge was trying to diagnose, and to date has refused to contact the Service Manager at Dodge. I subsequently asked him to provide me with a direct contact for a corporate representative, or legal representatives, or his Speedee franchise insurance companies information, to which he has failed to provide.." This team is the best! I came in for an oils change and to warn them that I think something died under my car George found it turns out it was carrot (liquified) at that point. How embarrassing? I have only had a state inspection done here, but both times, the employees were courteous. The inspection was done quickly with no issues. Customers didn't have to wait long.A quick tip: Make sure to brush up on what the inspection requirements are for your specific vehicle. That's if you don't want to pay for something that may need to be replaced but not required to pass inspection, like windshield wipers.

I needed a state inspection done so I stopped by on a work week day around 10am. I was promptly greeted by the manager who was very friendly and explained things to me. Facility is very clean and it was nice to see them cleaning the lobby in between customers. The person who checked me out was the assistant manager and he was just as friendly and efficient. I get serviced at a car dealership but I would consider giving them a chance for other services in the future. Great and friendly experience overall.

Went for a state inspection they told me the wait time would be 45 minutes but were steady seeing other customers before me that had just pulled in after me.. I don t recommend them to anyone because why would I have to wait 45 minutes but everyone else that was pulling in they were getting serviced. Bad service won t ever go back.
