The staff was very friendly. They made sure I understood the reason for every repair needed for my car, prior to the repairs by text and email along with the prices. When I picked up my car they offered to address the repairs again. I received a text a few days later making sure the car was running okay. Definitely will be my first choice for any future work.

What a day I had. I received the best customer service ever from this amazing company Christians Brothers Automotive by two gentlemen James Garvin manager& David Faerber owner. My fuse had went out in my car and I need it badly to charge my portable oxygen concentrator. I went on Monday James said I am by myself but if you come back tomorrow I will help you. I came back and not only did he help David did as well. These men went above and beyond what was expected. Very kind very professional very caring. If you ever need anything with your car done don t hesitate to try Christian Brothers in Cedar Hill. I am so happy because there are still caring people in this world today and I had the opportunity to meet two of them. Thanks James and David

The week of the 20th of October 23 I took my car in to get an oil change. I went straight home and stayed home for about 3 days so my car sat. My car was now leaking oil. Oil was in my garage and it was a Saturday. While I m driving I smell a strong burning oil scent. CB was closed on Saturday so I paid a repair shop to raise my car so I could look under my car. Oil from the front to the back of my car. I parked my car at CB lot and waited for them to open Monday. Now mind you when I brought my car in I had no oil leak nor any smell of oil. CB didn t see or report anything regarding oil leak when they changed the oil. They keep my car a few hours clean the oil up and tell me it s good. Three weeks later my car is still leaking oil and smelling. I go back they tell me it s the gasket. Well on BMW s when you over fill the oil you can cause gasket damage. Now they want me to pay them 1k to repair my car. I will never do business with them again. Christian Brothers aren t being Christ like. I was told they are not going to repair my car. I told them I would pay for the part but not the labor because the problem started with them working on my car. My car is 11 years old with only 141k miles. Car was serviced with the dealer for 10 years .DO NOT GO THERE!BEWARE!In Response to their reply:Christian Brothers. Why are you all lying. I recorded the conversation I had with you in November. I have just called BMW. I am waiting for my service rep Norma to send me a email of my vehicle records. On July 20, 2020 at 91,000 miles my car was repaired by BMW of Dallas. And as for the dealership telling me they required that so called gasket in April of 2022 they have no record. I will post that on your website to.

One of the cleanest shops I have ever been to! The Owner is extremely nice. Even the other mechanics were nice. Can't tell how many automotive shops I have been to that They had attitudes and were rude. They did my oil change very quickly and had me on my way in about 30 mins. Waiting room was nice and the bathrooms were spic & span! Cold water for you to enjoy! This is my new favorite shop! Kind of pricy but worth it!

I had an issue with my Toyota CHR XLEs battery after a recent temperature drop that caused me concern. I was able to call ahead, walk in and receive service immediately.The team was hospitable by offering hot coffee or a cold water and apologized for currant renovations. Side note: the soon to be waiting area looks stellar already!My service technician is a trusted advisor with decades of knowledge in his field of expertise. I felt safe (as a woman), and in good hands. I went ahead in getting a new battery (they had expedited, oil change and the peace of mind that I was in good hands. All in under an hour!!!HIGHLY RECCOMEND for anyone traveling the #EllisCounty area. Thank you so very much!!

I have been to CB multiple times, and I always receive superior and friendly service from them. Today, I went in to ask about what I thought would be a major issue. The staff person (I m sorry, I didn t get his name), asked me questions to make sure he understood what was going on. He said they didn t have any appointments available today, but scheduled me an appointment for next week. He then said he d take a look at my battery just to make sure it wasn t something as simple as a loose connection. Turned out that s all it was. He took the time to make sure my car was safe for the road. He seemed genuinely concerned about making sure I was ok driving around. It really made my day and I appreciate him and the staff who tightened my battery. Thank you CB!!

On 10/02/2023 I went in to see what was going on with my car. I used CB before and was happy. But I am not pleased that they tried to take advantage of me this go around. They took what I said I was hearing in regards to my car and said I needed a transmission. At a whopping $8K. So anytime you re especially dealing with $$ amounts like this SECOND OPINIONS are a MUST. (Ladies) bc they try us. Long story short while test driving at the other dealership, mechanic noticed right away what was wrong, which CB did not do with me. They found it was my wheel bearings. Everything on my car is original parts with almost 200k mileage. Needless to say I was VERY DISSATISFIED with Christian Brothers who I used to get my A/C repaired back in June. Now I m wondering if they did more than they needed to do. Men don t do women like this. We are not stupid but our younger ladies may not do the 2nd opinions. Be fair please!!You get what you pay for bc the other dealership is where I ve always gone. They changed management and the prices are a lil higher but they did not try to take advantage of me. I do not need a TRANSMISSION. WOW, I was soooo happy bc I could not afford that at this time.

The Cedar Hill location has proved top-notch. A few months ago, I used them for brakes and most recently for sparkplug coils for my vehicle. In both situations they were the most expedient mechanic I have come in contact with. Service is fantastic and prices are fair market value.

I brought my vehicle in for a fuel pump about 10 week ago and brought it back for the same issue three times with a different story from tech, $800. Paid $600, for paddle sensor, one day later now the throttle body ($800). A different story every time. Still have vehicle issues, I will not pay Christian Brothers to have more vehicle issues. Got my tires aligned. You must book an appointment to get your car worked on here. Took less than 45 minutes, they had free wifi in the waiting area and a comfy couch. The people were so nice and the price was reasonable. Good, honest people. If you get your tires from the Discount Tires directly next door sometimes Christian Brothers can give you a discount. (I didn't receive the discount because I waited too long to go after getting my tires)10/10, will go again

They've aways done a great job. I really like that they do a diagnostic for 100 bucks. With state of the art equipment and A.S.E. certified techs you're sure to get the job done right. And the pricing per hour for labor is the same if not a little cheaper as most reputable shops so why go anywhere else. The labor hours are usually less than dealerships quoted hours

I can't say enough about these guys.. they fix my brakes on my company truck that pep boys could not do.. almost cost me an accident pep boys cost like $2,500 worth of damaged parts.. and they just replace the brakes and rotors the week before.. excellent job excellent customer service.. I don't think my company will take their vehicles anywhere else from now on

Caleb has been a big help with my most recent repair. I have used this location since 2013. The things that Caleb did that have helped me this time was to do all the heavy lifting getting everything coordinated with my Ally extended warranty claim. He has kept me informed throughout the process. That is important when you are waiting on a necessary repair. Previously this location has also honored a warranty for some a/c work on a different vehicle. I will continue to choose Christian Brothers Cedar Hill for my auto repair needs.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

I took my 2015 Audi A6 in for an oil leak. They had to replace everything and recommend tune due to oil leak. The cost $2300. 2 weeks later my oil light came on again. They said they didn't change out oil sensor chip. They charged 293 I asked if they could remove Labor cost $140, they said NO. One day later, my engine light came on, I took it back a 3rd time. They said Bad spark plugs BUT I paid for tune up and they replaced with NEW plugs.Services: Auto engine tuning, Oil change

They had my vehicle since Monday and told me that on Wednesday they contacted the warranty company about my transmission, but I found out from the warranty company they never called. They actually called in the claim on Friday after I spoke with the warranty company the same day. Then instead of admitting they didn't call the warranty company, they put the blame on the warranty company and claimed it was their fault but could not produce the claim number from Wednesday, but instead could produce the claim number from Friday after they turned in the claim that day, as if the warranty company didn't have that information already notated as to when that claim had been filed. I believe they were behind and stalling for more time and that's why they never called the warranty company.Services: Transmission, Engine repair, Transmission repair

They really live up to the name "Christian". They very easily could have took advantage of me to make a profit. But instead they recommended that I use my warranty with my dealership and get the service FREE. Which I was unaware.

Short review: Great shop. They stand by their service. Kind, knowledgeable, patient, and quick.Detailed review: I purchased a commuter car to absorb the miles driven to work and back. Needed a belt, water pump, and a harmonic tuner. I work in Cedar Hill so my wife and I decided to try out Christian Brothers Automotive. Repairs were made in a timely manner and we paid and picked it up.On the way home, the car overheated and we found ourselves on the side of a busy highway. We called Christian Brothers and they sent a tow truck to bring it back and we didn t have to pay a dime for the tow. Turns out the water pump they installed had a tiny hole in it and while driving home, all my coolant leaked out and caused the problems. 100% not their fault. It was a part default. Freak accident.They made repairs and we got the car back a few days later at no charge. We picked it up and drove it for a few days. Realized it was now burning oil. Roughly a quart a day. Brought it back and they discovered that the engine was damaged when it overheated.Folks, they replaced our engine. We never paid a dime. It is also warrantied for 12 months or 12,000 miles.At no point during this whole ordeal did we have a heated exchange or get mean. THEY made the moral choice and did the correct thing. THEY made the situation right.Bobby and James explained anything we had questions about. They were always up front and honest.The lady who runs the front desk was always helpful and super nice and laughed at our dumb jokes. My wife and I tried to recall her name. I will update it when we remember. She was there every single time we had to come back. She needs a raise and a vacation.This was a complete nightmare of a situation but their unparalleled integrity, professionalism, and determination to make everything right is simply unheard of these days.They have earned my trust and my business for years to come.Service: Engine repair

It was 2:00 in the afternoon and I hit a curb and half tore off my under carriage shield. I was an hour away from home and couldn't drive dragging it that far. I called some places and they couldn't get me in. I noticed the Christian brother nearby and called them. Although they were full, they fit me in when i told them my dilemma. They didn't have the clips i needed in stock but they zip tied my shield up and made my car drivable. They had me road ready in less then 10 min and did not charge me. We've used them in the past and my parents use them and they've always done a great job. I appreciate all their help! Thank you, kind sir!

The first time I took it here they were friendly, reasonable and professional. So when I had another issue come up on the same vehicle, I took it to them again. I left it from Thursday through the following Thursday because I was traveling. I asked them to check a "ticking/knocking" noise and my brakes. Friday afternoon I received a text with an estimate for 4 new brakes and a $360+ fee to "remove a value cover" to investigate the noise. I approved it. I never heard from them again, so I called Wednesday to see what the status was. The status was they forgot to do the primary task the car was taken in for - investigate the noise. Several hours later I got a text telling me it needed a new engine and the options were either $5000 or $8000 as it could not be repaired. So they did brakes on all 4 wheels but neglected to discover the engine needed replacement??? Worst part - dealer has repaired the engine, only needed some rockers replaced. The dealer was also shocked at the outrageous "valve cover removal" fee. No need for it whatsoever. They either lied, or didn't care, or both. Will NEVER recommend them again.

My experience here is always beyond pleasant. James had my car taken care of in less than 20 minutes, and I know they were swamped with cars. They are all extremely courteous, and I get warm and fuzzy every time I come by. They have a very friendly and inviting atmosphere.

LOVE these guys! They've helped me keep my 2002 Ranger on the road. They have excellent service and take the time to explain things that may not be clear. They don't do anything without checking with me first and have great communication! Their prices are really reasonable and their work is great. I will travel out of my way to keep taking my truck to them!

Just want to give a big shout out to Christian Brothers Auto store and also Billy for helping me out. My car came in with a loud scrapping sound. I dropped off my car and they called me within a hour to tell me that the back plating was just touching. Instead of charging me anything, they just fixed it and charged me nothing! When I dropped off my car, they also offered to drop me off since I was so close. Just want to thank them and say this is the A+ honest work I would recommend and come back to! Thank you guys again.

We have been taking our two vehicles to Christian Brothers Cedar Hill for almost two years. They were recommended to us by a neighbor. Steve and James have given us wonderful service. They are honest, trustworthy and generous with their time to diagnose a problem and fix it. I wouldn't take our cars anywhere else and highly recommend them.

I went in 6 months ago because my gas cap light and check engine light was on. They replaced my gas cap and said the light would go off in a few days. 6 months later, it s still on. After researching this issue myself I found the problem and bought the part myself. The mechanic answering the phone said it probably wasn t the problem and I needed to pay $99 for a diagnostic test. Another part was said to be the problem and I was charged for parts and labor on this supposedly bad sensor. Guess what, it s been a week, $300+ later and still both lights are on. They didn t even replace the part I bought for the issue. Very disappointed!
