Does great work!! Had both driveshafts rebuilt in my 3rd gen Dodge and everything was smooth as silk after they were rebuilt! Used them before and will continue to use them! Answered all my questions, the lady on the phone was super nice. Thank you drivetrain for replacing and fixing my problems with care and honesty.

My friend & his friend had spent 2.5 hours trying to remove seized U-joints from some axle shafts. I bring the parts to Drivetrain Specialist and this guy somehow removes the U-joints & installs new ones in just under 30 minutes! For a great price too. Definitely going back here in the future, as it s worth the drive. Thanks!

I had a great experience working with these guys. I needed a driveshaft fabricated because my C10 project hates me. Literally, the next day I was contacted because they had a similar order to make and just went ahead and fabbed mine up. Not only that, but they pressed in my u joints and if I had remembered to bring my yoke, I wouldn t have to press any in.You can t please everybody everytime. It s not possible, but as a small business owner myself, the way some of y all act makes me wonder how would y all react if something truly dramatic happened?

They rebuilt an aluminum driveshaft for my Camaro. Excellent turnaround and their prices for US made heavy duty U joints were less than the Chinese made units found at the parts store. This is the 4th driveshaft I ve had them rebuild over the years. Had them install a posi unit in my 65 Malibu years ago too. Gladly use them again!

As you can see this run down looking shop does bad and inconsistent work.Ordered parts over 5 months ago with 4 people ahead of me.Had to reschedule once due to my work issue.Two months later asked to bring in on Saturday for Monday start.Phone call on Thursday.Was told one ahead of me. No bolts turned yet.Liliers and completely unprofessional group of people.Went to pick up vehicle on Thursday.Truck in lot.NO KEYS.Please use 4 Wheel Parts in North Austin.

This place is a joke. Guy did not want to help at all. Very lazy. We were in Austin for the Lonestar Round Up and broke the driveshaft on a 66 C10 and needed another one made. Guy wasn't very friendly and did not want to do it. We had the driveshaft that was broke. It needed a new tube about two feet long and a new rear piece. Like I said wouldn't even look us in the eye. And we were there before him Friday morning. So he had all day.

I like this shop, regardless of who answers the phone they are friendly and helpful. If you need a shaft balanced or modified go here. I had a driveshaft shortened and balanced with high quality results. It is hidden and navigation can get you lost. Just look for the Paint and Body sign then turn right.

I had a custom driveshaft built by DTS. I couldn't be happier. Bolted right up. Drives smooth as silk. The price was very reasonable. Awesome people that do great work! I will be a returning customer for sure.

Went through many troubles trying to find a driveshaft for my car because it was discontinued through GM, Went to this place and they got me an exact oem replacement.. honestly way better than oem because the shaft is alot thicker! I thought was I was gonna have to pay way over 1000 for a custom made driveshaft but was happy to find out it was only gonna cost me 700... These guys are awesome and I would definitely recommend them to everyone! Quick turn around time too, Ordered my shaft and It was done in a few days

We are a construction company out of Ks. working just north of Austin, one of heavy duty trucks twisted a 3 piece driveshaft in two!! With a crew of 12 personal and an already tight deadline we could not afford down time. We got ahold of Chris and told him the situation and he told us to get it to him as soon as we could. The next morning he called and said he was finishing up the driveshaft for us!! I was blown away! I doubt that Chris even slept that night...anyone needing this type of work done should come here first, honest reliable and an all around good dude. The customer service and quality you get here is top notch, and did I mention reasonable prices... even with a small emergency fee the final bill was under what I expected to pay. Thanks again for your hard work and long hours that day to get us back in operation.

used them before. great guys within seconds of seeing my drive shaft they knew what was wrong. they are fair priced and very quick to service the drive shaft. will use them again. great guys keep up the great work

These guys are awesome! I took my old 94 van in to have them find out what was going on with my driveshaft and they were so honest and reliable! I typically do all of the work on my car, but I had never done u-joints before and did not feel like buying the proper tools. I was already in the middle of a couple other projects so I figured I'd take the driveshaft off, and have someone else press in the new joints for me. Chris did it for me in a day for a very reasonable price. Driveshaft feels great now, I couldn't be happier.Side note: It was a bit difficult to find. You'll see the sign off the service road, drive down that road just passed the sign away until you see 2 white buildings. His is the 2nd building, door on the left.

If you are in the field of repair, be it, automotive, heavy equipment, or anything else that has a driveline, this is the shop you need to keep in your arsenal! This is the most legit drivetrain shop I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Our customers satisfaction is clearly a mark that these fellas wanna hit, even though my customer is not their customer per say, they sure do treat it that way. The amount of time and care taken to ensure that this custom shaft was built to the highest level of quality right before my eyes was to say the least amazing! Customer service is definitely a pinnacle of this business' foundation, way to go fellas!! We will be back for ALL of our driveline needs.

Couldn t have had a better experience. Both the owner and his son were extremely accommodating and knowledgeable. They diagnosed and addressed my drivetrain issue immediately despite being very busy. Would honestly recommend these guys to anyone.

Could not even tell you how happy I am with these guys!! It is rare to find mechanics, much less specialist who will treat you like a friend.Took my Dodge Ram to them with what I believed was an off balanced driveshaft. After taking it off, found out it was an issue with the U-Joint that I couldn't even see. Instead of ripping me off and lying, pretending it was a "difficult" fix, they just fixed it right then and there saving me 12 hours without my truck and charging me for more repairs I don't need.I will 100% be back to this place for more work. Go there and save yourself headaches and more issues. Thank you so much guys, made the stress go away!

I own Master-Tech Automotive in Kyle. We give all of our customers quality work so it is important to me to be able to rely on another business to provide quality work for us when we take a customers driveshaft for repair. Drivetrain Specialists fit that quality oriented business. I had used another vendor, which I will not name here, for over 15 years and they treated us fairly but had a lot of employee turn over. When I found out about DTS I decided to give them a try and I am very glad I did. I do not really question prices because owning a business myself I know what needs to be charged to make ends meet. DTS does have better pricing than the other vendor I used which is also a plus because I can save my customer some money in the process.

Totally honest. Asked them to balance my drive shaft. After talking to me they showed me what I really needed and solved my problem at no charge. I will highly recommend Drivetrain Specialist.

I do not recommend this shop I took my car to change it to posi an a worker offered me ratio change as well the two time I took it back it vibrated horribly at high speeds an didn't explain to me as a customer that the speedometer was not gonna read correctly I took it back 3 times now I have to pay again to put it back to original way it came

Called ahead of time to make sure they were open . The guy said to come by. I drove an hour and a half got to the shop at 1120am and no one answered the door or the phone. They had trucks outside and the web said they close at 12.
