Update: Almost two months ago back in February 2024, I had Kamal's shop install a clockspring in my 2005 Toyota Prius.The airbag light was on in my dashboard, the cruise control was not working, my horn was not working properly, the button controls on my steering wheel were not illuminated, and the recirculate button on my steering wheel was not working. After my new clockspring was installed, everything listed above was fixed! Kamal gave me a very fair price and everything is working properly now! Thank you Kamal! [4/5/2024]Last month [back in December 2023], the daughter of my Bride-To-Be was leaking antifreeze from her 2005 Toyota Highlander Limited. When she drove it to my home, I noticed that she had a leak at the top of her radiator. The next day I made some calls and was referred to Kamal at Texas Auto Kare from an automotive cooling parts distributor. He said that the owner Kamal would take very good care of me. I called Kamal and I told him what I need and he gave me very fair pricing for replacing the radiator with a brand new radiator! He said I could bring it in that day and he would have it ready the next day! I drove to his shop and he looked at the problem, and confirmed he would have it done the next day and he gave me a ride home! He also said he would look in his inventory for a cap to the radiator overflow reservoir, since the one on it did not fit as tight as it should and I was unable to find one.When the job was complete the following day, Kamal gave me a call and he drove to my home and picked me up and we went to his shop. The new radiator looked great and he even found a tight-fitting cap for the overflow reservoir and did not charge me for it. I paid him for a job well done and thanked him once again for his fair pricing and for his stellar and fast service!If you need a great automotive repair shop that will perform great repairs and provide you with the best customer service and reasonable pricing, Kamal is your man/Texas Auto Kare is your shop! Kamal does great work and from my experience, he is very honest. He can be a little rough around the edges and sometimes misunderstood, but he means well. If you want a competent mechanic, honest and fair prices - He s your guy! If you are more interested in customer service, Park Place dealership is only 5 miles away. ;)

Kamal is a great person and gives you the right estimate for your repair. No monkey business. Really helpful too. Gives you a realistic idea of the work to be done. He does a great job with the car repair and service .

Been coming to Texas Auto Kare for 3 or 4 years now. Kamal is very reasonable and extremely knowledgeable... after being screwed by one of the major chains I know how important it is to find a mechanic you trust, and Kamal is definitely earned my trust. I have zero problems recommending his services to anyone.

I have been going to Kamal for my car troubles since 2009. Since then, I have moved to a couple of surrounding cities and I still drive back to Kamal when I have car issues. I've had my share of bad experiences with mechanics, but Kamal is different. He is honest, cares about the quality of his work, and charges very reasonably. He is also a very hard working man. If you are looking for an honest mechanic/body shop, Kamal is your guy. I will continue to go back to him and refer him. Thanks Kamal!

Kamal is one of the best mechanic here in Texas. He is always honest and straight forward with you about what is going on with your vehicle. Kamal has worked on my cars as well of coworkers and friends vehicles since 2002. I will recommend Kamal to anyone needing repairs.

I love him and he has GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have taken my car to Kamal serval times and he always goes out his way to serve me even when it's his fault. He has never turned me down and he always repair my truck the same day.

My boyfriend recommeded Kamal. Great service, very honest. Most places will try to exagerate any issues so that they can charge you an arm and a leg but not Kamal. If you need an experienced and honest mechanic Kamal is there for you!

Took my car in to get fixed. Kamal fixed it but made a large scratch on the drivers side of the door. When I went to see if he could fix the scratch. He refused to acknowledge any possibilities of the scratch happening at his shop. He was very disrespectful and walked away from us. He made no attempt to work at resolving the issue. Never going back to him again.

Terrible customer services. Kamal is a pretty lazy mechanic. Has no respect for the customers and is very unreliable. Always promises he can get the work done but there is always something else wrong when you get the car back. If 0/5 was an option that's what i would have picked.

This guy is totally unprofessional and his behavior is very imbalanced. He is very incompetent. We took our BMW,which was leaking transmission oil, to him and told him what was the problem and he said ok he will look at it and evaluate it. He took the whole day and when we called him he said he is going to call back in five minutes but he never did. We called him the next day again and he says he does not work on transmissions. Then why did you take the car in the first place. He completely wasted two days and lies that we did not tell him about the transmission leak even though we did. It is very ridiculous how he is managing a auto shop in Texas.

THESE GUYS ARE DANGEROUS.PLEASE READ ALL THE COMMENTS.One of the worst experiences I have ever encountered. The guy on the phone gave me a quote of 90$ and the moment he showed up, he agressively started forcing me to give the credit card information.He made me sign his documents, was not letting me write the exact service which I asked for and when I asked him to let me write the whole description, he snatched the documents.Moreover he took a photo of my credit card and driver license which was highly unprofessional.After he made the transaction,he told me this work will take more time and he will be charging me more for that.The moment I told him that I won't be paying more, he ran away from there.So they charged me 90$ just to see him and tolerate his unprofessional and threatening behavior.

Kamal (owner) has a really really bad customer service! I will be posting a video of his ill behavior to youtube for everyone to see. He doesn't treat his customers with respect. He has too many customers to care about new ones. LESSON NEEDS TO BE TAUTHGT TO THIS GUY!

I have changed the break pads of my van here. The total cost of changing was cheaper than other garages. But within 2 months it started giving squeaky noise when I apply breaks.
