Exceptional customer service from the owner, very knowledgeable & skilled in his craft. From the beginning when I entered his establishment, during the progress and even after getting my truck back it was top notch customer service all the way. I'll definitely be back to see Aaron at Smith Offroad And Performance for years to come. Even his front desk employee is very friendly & helpful. I highly recommend you check out this shop.Parts I got installed:RCV Performance IFS CV Axles, Mechman 370Amp, East Coast Gear Supply Clamshell Bushing, Extreme LED X6S Amber Light Bar wired to sPOD.Also got some customization/fabrication to fit & clear 37" tires:Aggressive CMC, pinch welds cut/folded & inner fender liner trimed & etc... And he fixed/adjusted my truck bed/tailgate another shop messed up on.Update: Aaron did an amazing job on my DRT FABRICATION Cab Mount Relocation Kit on my Tundra for better clearance for my 37" tires. His welding is top notch. He also did my friend's Tundra CMR Kit and that came out fantastic as well. Aaron does quality work.

Aaron and his shop was incredible. Went above and beyond to get my truck alterations and was responsive the whole way through. Would seriously recommend working with them if you re doing anything to your truck or jeep for off roading.

I was very impressed with Smiths off road and performance. They were able to quickly diagnose the issue with my truck and then explained everything to me in depth as well as showed me the issues that were causing the noises that my truck was making. They had the repairs done when they said they would and for a fair price. They are clearly very knowledgeable in their craft! Thank you Smith off-road and performance, my truck drives like new.

Aaron is a stand-up guy. He will give you an honest opinion and an honest response of what makes since for your rig. He was extremely patient with me and did a great job with truck. I will definitely be back for more work!

Smiths Offroad was recommended to me by a customer of mine and I can't tell you how glad I am that I went and talked to Aaron!He gave me a great price to regear and install a front locker on my Tacoma and had it done within one day!I will definitely be sending all my offroading buddies to his shop and I will going back as well in the future A+

I saw Smith Offroad and Performance on Google Maps, with good reviews. I decided to have him install a 2 lift on my brand new 2021 Jeep Rubicon. Aaron Smith runs the shop and was helpful, experienced, professional, straight forward and will give you an honest answer. His install price was fair and competitive. He had my Jeep complete in five hours. His install even included the alignment. I have had a chance to take it out to my property in West Texas gave it a good trail test run. Everything passed with flying colors. The Front end alignment is still dead on straight as an arrow. Aaron does an awesome job, he will treat you and your rig right!Service: Wheel alignment

Aaron and the team worked on our '84 CJ7 and did a fantastic and efficient job. Really can't thank them enough for getting our old girl back on the road. It took them longer than anticipated to get the parts (distributor issues in mutiple states) but they didn't give up and got it done within the projected budget. Phenomenal. Strongly recommend them.Service: Steering & suspension repair

One of the better Offroad shops in DFW. Owner Aaron Smith and all of his crew is awesome. When you talk to them they are down to earth and truly appreciate your business.They do great work at a great price.Other Offroad shops in the area can learn a thing or two from these guys.

These guys are great. Had a new front axle and new gears for the rear put in my jeep as well. They made sure everything was perfect before I picked it up as well as a great alignment. Lockers work great and I couldn't be happier with the install and the crew. Great shop. CUDOS!

Took my Jeep Wrangler here recently for a lift and wheel install. This is a top notch shop. Aaron is extremely knowledgeable and was extremely helpful. His prices were fair and he had a very fast turn around. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for any offroad upgrades.

Aaron Smith is great to work with! He's super knowledgeable and speaks from experience as he's an off roader himself. He installed a 3.5" Metalcloak Game Changer lift kit, bigger rotors, brake pads, and trussed and gusseted my front axle as well. He's very reasonable with prices and does a great job. I'll definitely be giving him more business.

This is the only shop I've ever taken my Jeep too, and I definitely will be going back. I dropped my Jeep off with Aaron and Josh to install some gears for me and they got the job done exactly when they said they would. They're a good friendly team that aren't just trying to steal your money.Thank y'all for fixing up my Jeep! 5 stars

1 year later review: Full suspension, skids, sliders, electrical and more on my 4 Runner and everything is perfect after plenty of CO trips. I was recommended to his shop from another customer and glad I went here.

This is one of the most organized and spacious shops i've seen for the performance world in DFW. I needed some assistance with my 9" axle and the Owner took time to listen to my questions and concerns, and was kind enough to walk me through options with actual examples in the shop. I'm very detail oriented with my combination and he preemptively addressed every concern i had with what i needed done. The sheer knowledge and capabilities in this shop is beyond impressive, and is clearly supported by the details on their work. This is my go-to service shop from here on out!

Had Aaron install ball joints and new gears. He was quick to turn it around. Seemed knowledgeable and easy to work with. Would use him again for service in the future. He is the one working on it, not the new guy at a big shop.

I can't comment on their actual work since their customer service is horrible. Drove all the way to get a quote in person and check the shop out where I plan to spend over $2,000 and because I got here 1 minute before closing they refuse to stay 5 minutes past their closing time to provide me a quote. If they are not willing to spend 5 extra minutes to give a potential customer a quote, what makes you think they will go above and beyond on your vehicle build.

I've had Death wobble off & on for 3 years. Went thru multiple track bars. Made appt for Track bar install (non-standard & a bit complicated). Completed while I wait. Jeep drives much better. Fully satisfied.

By far one of the best mechanics you can find, the respect from the shop owner is second to none, your job will get done right. Has done a great deal for the Offroad community let alone that FJ can come for your lunch money. 69/5 Stars

Shop doesn't know what they are doing. Makes up repairs needed to increase bill exponentially and charges rates that are absurd. Broke a locker costing me Over $1000. Would really recommend not using this shop if this is the way they do things. They lied about many thing to increase labor rates on install. Be careful using this shop or at least get a second opinion.

This is a great place got my rear doff replaced for a great price after my original one was done. Free gear oil change after 500 miles and I have 30,000 miles on the rebuild with no problems. Great guys and service fair prices

Aaron helped me out soon much with the ridiculous amount of questions I had. I've seen his work first hand and it is impeccable. When I need a shop to work on my rig, I will only let Aaron touch it. Thanks again man!!

They do Great work. Ive used them for a couple repairs and they gave solid advice that I didnt readily get around to, (life got in the way). That resulted in one of the repairs :)
