Old Town Automotive is a locally owned auto repair shop in Old Downtown Carrollton. They are wonderful.. Been using them over 20 years and they never disappoint. Brought my car in for an annoying rattle in my front end after hitting a curb. They checked it out, gave me a reasonable quote and I took it in today for repair. I'm so happy....the noise is gone and handling great. Thank you Old Town!

Jesus, an employee there, he s a very close friend of mine. He s one of the top best professional mechanics out there in TX. Very hard working and disciplined. I m not saying it just because he s my friend, but his own actions, skills and talent speak for themselves. He is very good at what he does, as such a young age as well. You can fully trust this shop with your vehicle 100% with people like Jesus working in the shop.

Dropped my car off to get my tailpipe looked at. They called me right away with the issue and price and when I could expect the work to be done. If you live close by like I do, it's very convenient to drop your car off if you don't have time to sit around and wait.

Quick, efficient, reasonably priced, didn't try and upsell any other "unnecessary" issues. Had brake/rotors issues, had repairs done In a few hours. Thoroughly impressed how well my car drives/brakes now. Highly recommend this auto shop!!Bonus:My brakes had failed completely, so drove to the shop using my emergency brake, and my adrenaline was sky high when I arrived. The sweetest cat, Maggie, greeted me at the door and was the purr-fect stress reliever my frazzled mind needed.

I live nearby, so initially called out of convenience. After one minor emergency and now a handful of other return trips, I think I ll continue to come here even after I move out of the neighborhood. They are professional, respectful, and have not once made me feel like they didn t want my business. I ve never made an appointment and they have always welcomed me in or made time for me so they can take a look. They are fair, honest, communicative, and the waiting area is clean and does not smell anything like a mechanic. Also they have a cute lil shop cat, which is a bonus.

We been doing business with this locatiom here and there for the past decade, but after my last interaction, I'll have to take my business elsewhere.When they originally started business, they had good attitudes and good prices. I was shocked to find out how nasty they've become. I don't really understand why they feel they can treat people this way now, but I hope they talk to God and find a graceful way to live again. There's no reason to live life so bitterly, arguing up a storm in front of good people. It just ain't right.

Old Town Automotive has been a trustworthy partner for our families auto maintenance and repair needs for many years. I trusted the maintenance of my children s cars to this group. The team is always courteous, trustworthy and forthcoming with their information on repairs and above exceptional customer service when it comes to assisting in that unknown sound or timely maintenance .Their shop is always clean and their staff is professional and down home friendly.

Been using them for 12+ years and trust them with all my cars. They recommend what s needed only, which is usually half of what dealer says it s needed. Edgar even helped get the insurance company to cover a repair a year after a fender bender that the body shop missed.

I can t recommend OTAS strongly enough. I brought my Mercedes in for a couple of issues and was resigned to spending a lot on repairs. After an inspection of the car , I was advised that there was nothing seriously wrong and the best course of action would be to monitor the problems until they repeated or got worse.And they wouldn t even charge me for the inspection!They have earned my loyalty for sure! Most shops would have taken the opportunity to fix something.Very honest, professional and experienced.As I say, I can t recommend them enough.

I love Old Town Automotive in Carrollton. I feel safe having them work on my car. My check engine light came on and they checked and found out my gas cap was loose and didn't charge me. I take my car to them for everything.

Terrible customer service. If an issue comes up, they are very dismissive, defensive, and rude. We get that mistakes happen, but how you handle them iis what sets your character.Acting like a teenage prom queen who hasnt gotten their way... when WE ARE THE CUSTOMERS... is completely childish.Mortified at yalls behavior.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY USED A PIECE OF WIRE TO CONNECT THE FUSE PANEL TOGETHER. THEN WHEN CONFRONTED THEY GOT MAD AND HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME.. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS KIND OF MECHANIC SHOP. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR CAR. FUSE BOX WAS NOT REINSTALLED CORRECTLY AND JUST SET BACK IN CAR. WORSE CAR REPAIR I HAVE EVER SEENRESPONSE TO THE SHOP.... I DID NOT FIND A BUSINESS CARD TO THE SHOP. THERE NAME WAS ON THE BACK OF THE FUSE BOX IN A SHARPIE. WHEN I CONFRONTED THE OWNER OF THE SHOP HE KNEW EXCATLY THE CAR I WAS TALKING ABOUT AND GOT OUTRAGED AND STARTED SCREAMING THEN HUNG UP PHONE ON ME TWICE... DO NOT TRUST THEM THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN FOR DOING THAT KIND OF WORK AND THEN BLAMING SOMEONE ELSE FOR THE WORK THEY DID.. I AM LUCKY IT DID NOT BURN THE CAR DOWN... I m new in the area and I was a little nervous about trying out a new shop. We had our go to for years where I use to live. Finding this place was such a relief. Edgar and his team did amazing. Old Town is the only dealership that I can trust to repair my vehicles. I can count on Edgar, Raul, and the team to make only necessary repairs at a fair price. If they say that something needs repaired, it will be done promptly. No uncharging or making unnecessary repairs. My car was stuck in the driveway and needed to be towed for fixing. We contacted Old Town Automotive and we were greeted by Edgar. He had a tow truck guy come out and get our car in less than an hour and had the car fixed later that afternoon. Very please with the quick service, and professionalism! I got some bad news about my car, and was referred here by a friend. Edgar went above, and beyond my expectations. They fixed my car, and didn t cost me nearly as much as other places around me. Edgar, the shop manager, is very caring and willing to explain auto issues in layman's terms. The shop is one of the cleanest I've ever seen and their work is always completed successfully without the need to return for additional service. They do get very busy and there's a reason for that!

Old Town Automotive is the absolute BEST!! This is the only place my husband and I bring our cars to. Edgar and everyone I've dealt with are super friendly and helpful. I've never waited longer than 5 minutes for them to pull my car to the back and start working on it. They brought my husband's 20 year old car back to life lol. They're prices are always reasonable and I always feel like I'm being taken care of. Seriously, give them your business, you won't be disappointed! :)
