Title: Disappointed with Discount Tire's Misguidance and Incomplete ServiceI recently had a disappointing experience with Discount Tire that left me feeling misled and frustrated. After noticing some issues with my vehicle's alignment, I called Discount Tire to inquire about their wheel alignment services. Despite being located 20 miles away from my location, I decided to make the trip based on their assurance that they could perform the necessary alignment on my vehicle.Upon arriving at the Discount Tire location, I was greeted by friendly staff who confirmed that they could indeed perform the wheel alignment. However, after leaving my vehicle with them for what I assumed would be a straightforward service, I was shocked to discover that they had not completed the job when I returned to pick up my vehicle.Despite their initial confirmation, it turned out that their equipment was not good enough to complete alignment properly, and they were unable to perform the wheel alignment as promised. I was left feeling frustrated and inconvenienced, especially considering the time and effort I had invested in driving to their location.Furthermore, the lack of communication regarding the issue was disappointing. It would have been appreciated if they had informed me of the problem before I made the journey to their shop, allowing me to make an informed decision about whether to proceed with the service or seek assistance elsewhere.Overall, my experience with Discount Tire was unsatisfactory, to say the least. Their failure to complete the job despite initially assuring me otherwise, coupled with the inconvenience of driving 20 miles only to be turned away, left me feeling misled and disappointed. I hope that they can improve their communication and service quality in the future to prevent similar situations from occurring.

My experience here was good. The employees were courteous and polite, and they were respectful. The work on my tire was done quickly and professionally. The store was clean and organized, and I could see the employees in the back maintaining safety protocol as they moved vehicles in and out of the garages.

I'm happy with the tires I purchase because they are reliable but I'm not happy with the manager at Discount Tires. He made it VERY difficult to get competitive pricing and tried to steer me away from purchasing Michelin Tires. The following week, I called NTB Tires and they were much more accommodating and had better deals on the SAME tires. My overall experience was a negative one at Discount Tires.

The advanced arthritis in my hands makes putting air in my ties practically impossible, especially when it's cold out - which is when tires typically need a bit of air. I am so grateful they offer free checks. They're also really good at letting me know when it's time to change my tires, which is something I'm not always great at staying on top of. And I know mechanics have a reputation of recommending unnecessary repairs but I trust Discount Tire to tell me the truth. Don't forget to call before you come in to have work done because they offer convenient appointments!

I went for a tire air check and was greeted warmly by Justin. He shook my hand and told me I needed to air to my tires. He also recommended I replace the tires as my tread was a "5". It was so refreshing to be taken care of by such a caring employee.

Went to get tire air pressure corrected around 12:30 pm. Got help right away from a young man who said he had been there about 3 month. Don' t know his name but they need to keep him! Awesome customer service.

Showed up before 8 and they let me in a little early. John Paul and Moris took great care of me. Had me out in no time. I ve arrived at other Discounts and had to wait until 8. Great job guys.

Came in at 8am after my night shift as a nurse and was greeted right when I walked into the door. Asst Manager Adam Martinez was so helpful and kind while helping me decide what tires would be best for my suv. The whole crew as working hard on cars and greeting customers, offering water to them. Highly trust my vehicle in their care!!! thanxxx DTC!!

Thankyou as always store 30! My man Max especially. From Lorenzo and Lorenzo to Shane the manager, the entire team is the best in town. I ve been coming to store 30 since 1993. I have even gone out of my way to come there because it never too busy and the team is amazing. Plus they now have an alignment machine!

This review is against the discount tire located on 3408 E Trinity Mills Road in Carrollton Texas. I had an appointment for Saturday morning and arrived about 15 minutes early. The representative meets me in the driveway and begins walking around to each Tire doing his cursory inspection.These tires had road hazard warranty on them and I brought them in every 5000 miles for service of rotate and balance. These 45k mile tires have 29,000 miles on them and are only serviced by Discount tire. The guy walked around, then came up to me and said that I would need to replace all four tires because the front had 1/32 of tread and the back two were 3/32 and 4/32 seconds respectively. I declined stating 1/32 is bald, and obviously none of the tires on the car were bald to which he said it s the inside tread. I turned the wheel and he could not show me where it was bald. Again I declined service and then he informed me that they would not be able to do anything to my car because all of my tires were in the red zone. He did offer to sell me a brand new set, and when I declined, he offered me a credit application, which I additionally declined. He then informed me that it was unsafe to leave with my car in that condition. I left. I went to my old tire near my old address (that I ve known prior to discount tire for other cars for more than 10 years), I explained that I needed a tire rotation and balance. I told them discount tire informed me my tires were unsafe and I wanted to get a second opinion. The second shop informed me that there was nothing wrong with my tires, then they took me out to my car with the tire gauge and showed me the depth of each tread across the entire tread showing 5/32 of tread life remaining, on all four tires. They did the work and I went home satisfied.I d given discount tire a second chance after some bad experiences years ago, however, after today, I won t be coming back, and I will be sharing this experience with any and everyone that will listen to it. It s absolutely sickening that a technician would attempt to take advantage of me in this way, I can only imagine what would happen to someone who wasn t as savvy about their tires as I am. I do a lot of research and I do my maintenance by the book, I will not be taken advantage of to the tune of thousands of dollars for some guy itching to make a sales quota.

I had a blow out and the rear tire had a bubble. They sold me 2 new tires for a very reasonable price! They were finished with my car in 25 minutes.... love you Discount Tire

Made a big change to my Nissan Titan,took a bit to make it right but the guys came through n made everything right till I was completely happy, customer service is top notch n the guys in the shop hustle

Moris and team here have been fantastic! We had a tire going flat from road damage so we dropped the car off in the middle of the night by the time they opened they had figured out it was my car and do the initial check and gave me a call. We were able to get the tires changed out in less than 30 mins. One of them replaced under the certificate discount warranty. The honda dealer has been recommending an alignment due to miles every time, so had discount tire take a look and they quickly determined and showed there was no need as the alignment was in manufacture specs. Overall saving me quite a lot of money! I have appreciated the service over the years and will continue to come back to Moris and team going forward!

Just got my wheels powder coated less than a week ago and brought it in to check for proper balancing today. They chipped the face of the wheel and I called in to just let them know. I didn t expect compensation, but for the workers in the shop to be more careful. I spoke with Max over the phone, the person I dealt with while I was there took the call and couldn t even apologize. He just took my comment and hung up - I m sure my feedback wasn t even relayed to said workers.

Horrible experience. Took wife s truck in for a flat tire. Of course the service tech recommended replacing all tires (since hey they just happen to be running a special aka scam). We tell him we could only do the 1 for the price of $220. Sheesh. Now here s where it goes sideways. The guy proceeds to use his impact-wrench to remove the lugs and manages to totally strip threading on one. All he offered to do was break off the nut completely so the flat could come off. Just dandy! Then he installs the new tire, we drive off a bit disappointed, but a couple miles up the road notice our TPMS readings are all blank. On top of it, the truck now has a distinct wobble so fairly certain these guys forgot to align and balance all tires (guessing since we only paid for 1). Don t recommend this place unless you like shoddy work for a steep price.

Customer service sucks in this location!! If you want to get a great service go to the one in marsh lane and George bush they re great.I had to make an is this location just because there was no appointments available at Marsh ln.

I sat in my car and waited to be attended while 3 managers ( men in red shirts) were just standing around another customers car. No one ever approached or attended me. The discount tire on Josey has better customer service.

Everyone at this store was kind and knowledgeable! Blew out a tire on 75 and same day w no appointment they were able to quickly/efficiently change my tires. I even bought the wrong size on accident (I m just a girl after all) and they refunded me with no problems. Really appreciate the service and patience as I ve never dealt w tire issues on my own before.

Discounts' service has always been really great but somehow they've managed to improve while also reducing wait times.I came in for a routine balance but ended up getting a new set of tires and thanks to Shane I got an excellent deal. Couldn't be happier!

Went to get tires rotated. They couldn't do it because one tire was a little worn, nothing major. I was going to get another tire, but they didn't have our kind in stock.

Not a good experience at all. The only place in town with a key to my lug nuts and for some reason say it s gonna be two hours. I see two car in a 4 bay shop all I need is my lug nuts switched do to a lock nut absolutely ridiculous. I guess it more important to huddle up a y all then do your job

I walked in thinking I ll get my keys pay and be out, instead the man gonna say somebody else is gonna help, then I wait and a white lady comes in he helps her right away, she s doing the same as I am paying and leaving. Then I say am just picking up he clearly didn t want to help me snatching the papers and walking off while I m speaking, either he racially ignorant or he need to find a job he won t be so racist or find a job that he can actually be of service

All I wanted was an alignment, but they said they wouldn't do it unless I first bought all new tires for $1000. I scheduled the appointment days ahead, of course they waited until I was there to waste my time.

I went in for a basic air check as I knew one of my tires was low. I was informed that it was so low that their machine could not air it up due to safety reasons. I don't have the money today for even one new tire. They checked and had a used tire in my size and sue to my situation they gave it to me! So AMAZING. I don't look for nor ask for hand outs, I wasn't today, but I was desperate and they could tell so they took care of me. I've had bad experiences with other discount tire locations before but this one at this location was more than amazing. I'll continue to come see the folks at Trinity Mills Discount tire as long as I drive! Thank you Gentleman.P.S. they did it really fast too. Like 30 minutes!

I ve never received bad service from any dct location but this guys at this location are quick. Had an appointment at 9:15 got there a little early was greeted almost immediately and before we knew it the car was done. Highly recommend this discount tire.

I was at the door a few minutes before they opened. Watch them open the door right on time. Had my tire patched and left within 11 minutes. Great job guys.
