I have been going to Carrollton Complete Automotive for past 8 years to get our several vehicles serviced. Mike the owner of the shop amazing person to work with for years, has sold the Carrollton Complete Automotive to Sun Auto, and I dropped off my vehicle for the first the time since, just to diagnose, this new company breaks downs each issue separately ex. suspension check, leaks check 80k mile service check etc...and rather than flat fee for diagnose $99 or $149 they wanted to charge me $548 just to check the issues ONLY than work on vehicle, WOW completely outrageous & rip off. I never had to pay separately for diagnose for each issue under Mike's ownership. I am giving 2 stars for courteous and polite response from Eric and Shon over the phone conversation with my wife.

We are from Oregon and were leaving the Dallas area heading North to Iowa. Shortly after we were on the Expressway, my Subaru Forester started to overheat. I pulled off the highway and evaluated the situation. I quickly determined it was most likely the thermostat. I looked on google for a garage nearby with good reviews, and Carrolton Complete Automotive was only two miles away. I called and they were able to get me in immediately.Once I arrived, they jumped right on it and replaced the thermostat. The mechanic knew Subarus and did a thorough job of "burping" the system, and even gave me some extra coolant for the road because Subarus tend to continue to burp up air for a while more after driving.I was worried the over heat might have caused a head to warp and blow my head gaskets, but we just completed around 500 miles with no issues. We only lost a few hours at the start of our trip, but they got us back on the road much faster than I could have anticipated. In addition, they charged very reasonable rates and didn't engage in the typical gouging that many shops do when someone requires emergency maintenance.I am very grateful to them.

I ve been taking my cars here since I was 16, I m 26 now. I ve never had anything but great experiences. The staff is super friendly and not predatory in regards to their pricing and saying more is wrong like other shops. They had ample opportunity to take advantage of my naivety regarding cars as female teenager, but never did. They are always cut and dry, telling you only what you need to know, and they have fair prices. I live in Fort Worth now and still make the trek or tow to Carrollton to see them when my car is in need.

Came in for a creaking noise coming from what I thought was front wheels. I had another shop tell me I needed front shocks and other things replaced to fix the noise. Brought it to Carrollton complete automotive and spoke with John who was helpful, patient, and thorough.They were able to pinpoint it down to my hood latch needing to be greased. Fixed my problem and had me out of there in no time. Noise is completely gone. John and the team were great.

Wow! Customer service of this quality is rare these days! I worked directly with Shon, but spoke to many other professional staff in the organization that were all extremely knowledgeable and helpful!Shon, and CCA as an organization, has my highest respect and recommendation!You can trust them to be helpful, trustworthy, and experts in their industry all at very fair and better than market prices!

Staff is incredibly professional and accommodating. We paid the diagnostic. They did find parts that needed to be replaced however, did not fix the problem. Long time Carrollton business.

Great staff, Kim is the best! Communication was great. They didn t just make a bunch of repairs and give me a bill, they kept me in the loop. I went in thinking I needed a whole new transmission for my car. They took the time to find out every little issue I had with the car via diagnostic check. Turns out, I had a couple minor issues nothing major. With the budget I had to replace the transmission, I was able to get several other repairs I needed and now my car runs like new. Would highly recommend this mechanic to friends and family. Got the job done quickly and without hassle. I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Thank you Carrollton complete auto care!!!!

Giving three stars because while these people were courteous and responsive and likely would have done a good job fixing my vehicle, I found another place that did the exactly same job at 70% of the price. Just a warning to other folk to shop around a bit before committing.

I ve been bringing my car here for a few years now. The service writers are friendly and knowledgeable. I ve always been satisfied with their work. However, their prices have gone way up. I m talking over $200 to replace spark plugs and they just quoted me $140 to replace the coolant in my car. Not flush the radiator, just drain and fill. I can no longer afford to take my car here.Services: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair, Brake service & repair, Oil change

I have been going to Carrollton complete automotive for years and have taken multiple vehicles there spending thousands of dollars, and have been overall satisfied, until recently, which will result in me not going back.I took my wifes vehicle in after a check engine light came on, which turned out to have something to do with the transmission. After a couple days of Carrollton Complete Automotive looking at it, they came back with a $4600 quote, saying the transmission needed to be replaced. Their reasoning for this was because the transmission fluid was burnt, and there were metal shavings inside the transmission. They also told me this vehicle in particular is notorious for having these transmissions go out. Not willing to just throw out $4600 I took it to a different location that a co worker of mine knows and trusts, especially when it comes to transmissions.After dropping it off, they called me back a couple days later and told me they are very confident that nothing is wrong with the transmission, they dropped the pan and filter and said the transmission fluid was not burnt, it was actually in really good condition and the metal shavings were almost non existent. They also told me that these are one of the best transmissions, and for it to have the kind of problems, that Carrollton complete Automotive said it did, with only 51k miles on it, is insanely hard to believe. At the end of it, they told me that Carrollton Complete Automotive blatantly lied to me, because nothing they said was at all accurate.Be wary, and try to get a second opinion if at all possible. I doubt carrollton complete automotive looks at these reviews, but if they do, I do hope they look into this, because something like that could be very detrimental to a lot of people who just take their word for it and throw out almost $5000, when it wasn't needed in the first place.Services: Transmission, Transmission repair

2023 - 7 years and still dependable. Kept me informed and upfront about everything. Changed my brake pads and timing belt at a reasonable price.2020 - Me and my wife have used these guys for 4 years. Honest work and dependable. We ve moved to Plano and still come here because we trust them.

I initially trusted these ratings and decided to take the risk on this shop. The demeanor of every one is very friendly but I honestly feel fooled by it. I took my car into this shop and had several tests done, their conclusion was that I needed a new engine *to their knowledge*. I also learned that they did not do the bearing test they were supposed to do to even come to this conclusion, and I feel mislead as I thought that was one of the tests being done, the communication was not clear on this. They told my friend that they did not have the tools to perform that test. If you don't have the tools for that test, then why did they feel like the could conclude I needed a new engine? This was never expressed to me as my friend had to ask them.I was charged for a test, software update (that was not needed), and an oil change. They "followed the manual" but that just told me they weren't the experts I had thought they were on my car. I was also told that there were noises coming from my engine shortly after I had taken it in (but I had tested for the noise myself before then, I had heard nothing). I reconfirmed that with them, but he still tried to convince me that there was.I took the car to the dealership for a second opinion, the dealership concluded that I just needed a tune up- change all spark plugs, and belts to get it all back up to normal again. It relieved me to hear this, but it also disappointed me as Carrollton Automotive clearly told me I needed a new engine (that would have cost me 9k-10k when that was not even the case. I feel very cheated out of my money, but I am glad I did not decide to go ahead with that new engine.ALWAYS CHECK FOR A SECOND OPINION, I can fully say that I will not be coming back to this shop for any reason after this experience.

Dustin did an amazing job from start to finish to help me feel valued as a customer. Although I knew what the problem was with my starter, a buddy of mine and I couldn't reach it. Time was not on our side so I called this business after reading previous reviews.I walked Dustin through the components we took off to try and access the starter to help him update his mechanic. After confirming our suspicions, Dustin walked me through the findings of the initial assessment of the vehicle. He did not nickel and dime me, he broke down all the findings, worked with me to tackle the pressing issues so that I could get my car back. He even told me they didn't want to rush the work as it still needed to be looked over with their Quality Control team.Once everything was said and done, I was charged very fair, treated very well and looking forward to giving this place more of my business. Thank you ALL for taking care of us!!

Was in a real bind as my car essentially stopped working mid drive. Had it towed to this shop based on reviews and location. Worked with Kim who was very helpful and responsive. They ended up fixing my car well enough to be able to drive it off their lot and sell it. They did recommend an engine replacement as the fix, however, based on the high costs (not their fault, but due to current inflation rates on everything) I decided not to fix it. Trusted them and would have had them complete the work, however. I appreciated their honesty and ability to help me and will continue to utilize their services!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Carrollton Complete Automotive is the absolute best. Prices are very fair. Work is always reliable with high quality parts. The customer service is the best of thorough explanation of what is needed.They are very helpful with triaging needed repairs and let me know if something is urgent or if there is time to save up.Love these guys!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Wheel alignment, Air conditioning, Brake service & repair, Battery, Oil change

These guys are great! I've used them half a dozen times. We have one newer car and two old jeeps, and they do a great job on all of them.Recently, I took our newer car in for service. Long story short, I didn't feel like it was handled the way it should have been. I discussed with them, and they fixed the problem and discounted the price. This morning, I got ANOTHER call, following up to make sure I was satisfied, and they volunteered to reduce the price another $200.That's great customer service. They felt that they did everything they needed to do, but they followed up anyway to make sure I was satisfied and waive the labor charge in order to make sure I was a happy customer.The work itself is great. They work fast, offer a detailed estimate before they do the work, and other than this one time, I've had no complaints at all. When I did have a complaint, they went the extra mile to fix it.

This is the third time I have used Carrollton Complete Automotive and I must say I have been more than pleased with each visit. They identified the issues (vacuum leak on my 4wd), water pump leak and made all the repairs promptly and correctly. Their prices were more than fair and their professionalism and level of communication was far above anyone else I have used in the past. Special thanks to Eric Doriot for being a good consultant and not a salesman. I have a few deferred repairs that I will be returning to CCA to have completed in the near future. Carrollton Complete Automotive not only offers complete automotive services, but the complete package of excellent customer service. Their team is committed to providing trustworthy repair at a reasonable price. Be sure to ask about their warranty, which is truly outstanding.I took my girlfriend's car in for an air conditioning repair and Shiloh took the time to explain the extent of the damage and repair thoroughly, then kept me updated every step of the way. His expertise and transparency are greatly appreciated in a world where it's tough to trust a stranger with a personal asset as expensive as a car.I give them my highest recommendation and cannot say enough kind things about them. Feel free to ask for Shiloh if you have any questions or concerns, he will see to it that you are taken care of. I will trust them with my vehicle every time!

I brought in my car to have the air conditioning fixed because they had great reviews and I know that is important. I was told of the 119.00 diagnostic fee which I was fine with. Upon further inspection I was told it would be 500 to replace an actuator that had just been replaced, hopefully this would fix the problem but if not they would be able to diagnose further and let me know what it needed. I was then told that it would be another 1500.00 to replace the compressor but this wouldn't entirely fix the problem and I wouldn't be able to fully control the AC like it is supposed to. I let them know this was a lot to "kind of" fix the problem and I didn't want to go that route. I called to let them know I would be coming to get my car because I wanted to make sure it was ready when I got there. They let me know that the car was ready to pick up so I headed that way. I paid and got my keys but when I looked inside car, I saw that the dash was still completely apart. I let them know and they told me I would have to wait while the put it back together. After waiting, they pulled my car around and I got in and drive away. Once I got about a mile away, I looked down and noticed there were still parts from under the dash in the passenger seat and it was not all put back together. I was in a time crunch after calling ahead and already having to wait for it to be drivable so I couldn't turn around I would not recommend this place for AC repair, please avoid.Service: Air conditioning

I have been coming to Carrollton Automotive for a number of years, and have always been very satisfied with the service. I needed some rather extensive repairs last week. Eric took time to walk me through the process, and understand what I was agreeing to.Had to stop in a few days later for a concern on our other vehicle. Shiloh helped us on that and reminded us we were due for an oil change.

Came in to get the line for my windshield wiper fluid repaired, other than them taking a lot longer than I was initially quoted they were amazing! They had a lot of cars and seemed super busy so I wasn t mad about the wait. Everyone at the front desk was super friendly and happy to answer any questions. I will definitely be coming back for any car repairs and oil changes in the future!

I love coming to Carrollton Complete Automotive to maintain my 2000 Ford Explorer. They are always so helpful and professional and respect that I want to continue to keep my older SUV in tip top shape. They are reasonably priced and although always busy, they manage to take care of my service needs often while I wait. Being female, I do have concerns about being taken advantage of my mechanics because I don't know the value of the work being done but I never worry about that here. They explain everything up front and I've been coming here for years and have had no surprises. Thank you so much Carrollton Complete Automotive for taking such good care of my SUV all these years.Service: Oil change

Brought my Kia Sportage in because burning oil. Eric was able to bring up a Kia Service Bulletin detailing that particular problem. Since the SUV is still under warranty, he advised bringing to the dealer and they should fix it at no charge. He even printed the Service Bulletin for me. It's too bad I could only give (5) stars.

This is my new car shop. After being screwed over by Firestone I decided to take a chance elsewhere. This place had A1 customer service from the start. I needed to drop my car off for a few days for repair and I received 3 or 4 status updates on the car and when to expect it. I wouldn't get that at Trashstone. I do appreciate staff with all there help and getting my ac back up and running in this crazy heat! I now know where to go with any other car troubles or maintenance.

This has been my to-go place for getting my car maintained, repaired for over 5-years and every visit has been consistently impressive: amazing service and attitude, incredible speed and quality of work on cars, and honest and fair prices. My car always left in better condition than it arrived and worked smoothly because of Phil, Caesar, Daniel, Mike and the entire team there. They recently helped me get ready for a cross-country move (by car) and the entire drive went smoothly (through mountains, rocky terrains, thin snow). TRUSTWORTHY. My car broke down last week and I took it to the closest place at the time (Caliber Auto). They quoted me $1,846. That seemed high, so I had it towed to Carrollton Complete Automotive. They did the same repairs for $1,047. That is an $800 difference! I would HIGHLY recommend the team at Carrollton Complete Automotive. It is hard to find a mechanic you can trust. These guys are honest and trustworthy.
