Very nice park, right on the lake, clean and well maintained. Nice pool and restrooms. The RV spaces are large and most have a tree for shade. The management is friendly and helpful. Wi-fi is good. I would have given it 5 stars except for a couple of things; the water has a bad smell and taste, and second, our space was not very level. We had a hard time leveling our RV. Really enjoyed the bluebonnets.

RV Resort is nice and clean. Staff is exceptionally friendly. If you ask for something to be done, they were right on it. Kim is so nice and accommodating. Marilyn was very helpful when we bought a new 5th wheel and had to move everything over, we live full time in the 5th wheel. Kim and Marilyn (along with other staff) are very hard workers. They were always out there cleaning the pool area, bathrooms, lounge, club house and sites as they became empty. This was our second time to the resort and will be back in Nov 2024. We camped at Lake Buchanan RV and Cabin Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

I don t see how this could possibly be considered a resort of any kind. First of all, it is rather boring with nothing much to do there outside of the lake, which seemed to have troubles of its own while I was there. Furthermore, there is nothing to do close by and by nothing I mean nothing! Finally, our spot was hilly with divots in it and gravel and made it hard to hitch up and just a generally disappointing place. Even the dog walk area was not fenced in and was filled with burrs so the dogs did not like walking there. The people there were nice and the potential is there, but it looks like somebody just bought the place and decided to do absolutely nothing with it. I would never go back again.

Great quiet and serene location. Right next to water. You have water view RV sites, water view cabins. Slightly cheaper premium RV sites within a few 100 feet from water and regular sites a little farther. Pet friendly, with poop bags provided at the trails. A kid play area, beach volley ball court. Very friendly and attentive staff. They helped set up my RV. They have swimming pool, hot tub. There are many places of attractions near by. Wifi for the 1st hr is free and then you pay.Rooms: Water view cabins

Over all a really great experience! We were only here for the Tough Mudder event. Nonetheless, after staying for the weekend we loved it so much we plan on coming back for the summer when we can bring our boat with us as well. Before leaving I have a small accident with my Grey water tank. I felt terrible, and asked the gentleman picking up the trash bags in the morning what I could do to clean it up ir be helpful. I really did not want to leave a dirty spot. He was very understanding and told me not to stress too much about it. The resort itself is beautiful and very well maintained. The sunset over the lake is magical. Probably the main reason my wife and I will come back, hopefully to the same spot in front of the water.

I'm newly retired and living the dream! Fishing and camping has been my hearts desire. I found all the comfort and professional hospitality at Lake Buchanan Resort. Some very important amenities to me is clean bathrooms and hot showers. Both these needs were fulfilled and appreciated. The staff were very cordial and met all my needs when asked. I recommend this Resort to all ages. And the bank fishing was very rewarding too! I plan on returning soon.

We stay here almost every year during Thanksgiving week and we have so much fun! We bring about 10 people, kids and adults, and are never disappointed. With the property right on the lake, amenities such as pool, frisbee golf, and a playscape, everyone is exhausted by the end of each day. The cabins are clean, the staff is nice, and the resort is quiet and family friendly.

Lake Buchanan RV & Cabin Resort is a fantastic RV Park! It is extremely clean, quiet, and well laid-out. Each RV spot is large and allows for plenty of room to spread out. The views are gorgeous and the easy lake access is extremely convenient. The resort has a beautiful pool, lots of games, and plenty of areas to explore. I can't recommend Lake Buchanan RV & Cabin Resort highly enough!

Spent the weekend with my son in a cabin overlooking the lake. The cabin was very clean, spacious and met all our needs for a guy s weekend. The staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and quick to respond to all needs. All in all you can t beat this place! This place is a hidden gem whether you enjoy fishing or just need some outdoor time!

So glad we picked this place after searching out 11 others. What a find and worth the short drive when needing to be near Marble Falls. Everyone was laid back and friendly! Even though the lake was low, it was beautiful clear blue water for kayaking. Hope we can visit again from NE Indiana. Godspeed, Steve, Julie, and BellaSafety: No worries!

Went here for a 3 day RV stay, and was very impressed! The grounds are extremely clean. The staff was extremely helpful and very very friendly! They have a boat launch and an area to launch kayaks from directly into the lake. They have a beautiful pool as well, and are pet friendly! With the views, and the laid back atmosphere this was a perfect place to unwind! I will be back!

This is mostly an RV resort, but they do have a few cabins. We stayed in one of those and were completely delighted. Attention to detail made it special for us. It is off season and we were ;looking for a quiet place to get away from it all for a couple of days. This completely fit the bill. BTW it looked like a great place for summer fun. Pool, volleyball, boat ramp etc.Nearby activities: Lots of opportunities a nearby state parks

We stayed here in two RV sites for 5 nights with another family and had a great time. We will definitely be back next time we visit the area.Pros:- Sites are well maintained and mostly level.- No sewer smell or power issues. It was >100 degrees for most of the week so we each had 2 A/C's running almost constantly and had no issues with power.- Full timer sites are kept presentable.- Pool is well maintained and looks just as pictured on website- Large beach area for lake access with lot's of room to swim, float, fish, kayak, etc. It is also in an area of the lake that is not too busy so you won't have to contend with many boats zooming by.- Bathrooms were clean and well maintained.- Staff was friendly and helpful.- Great place for a family reunion or group retreat with mix of cabins, RV sties and clubhouse available for group gatherings.Cons:Pool is a little on the small side and could get crowded on a busy weekendShade is sparse. Many sites have trees but most of them are not large enough to offer substantial shade.No shade at lake. Bring your own canopy.

Recently, the water has been really down at the lake. But this did not deter us from coming with our rv for some fishing and fun with the family. This location started off great with the lady in the front that checked me in. So-dang-sweet! Clean grounds and a sunset to die for.There is corn hole for the family to enjoy, and the POOL!!! The pool is where it s at! This is our second time and certainly not our last.

This was our second visit, and will be many, many more to come. We stayed in one of the waterfront cabins as we did previously. The cabins are comfortable and just right size for a couple and likely up to four people. The amenities are great, boat launch at the resort.Entire staff is superb, and take great care of the property and facilities. This is now our go to local getaway. We are currently looking for our first RV, and this place has several spots to facilitate your RV. We will be back in a couple of months, and several times thereafter.

We had a great time during our week at LBRC resort! Large, easy to enter sites, quiet, beautiful pool, and great lake access. The couple in the office were so helpful and sweet. We forgot life vests and they let us borrow some so we could test our new kayak. We will stay here again!Nearby activities: Inks Lake State Park is close by and a fun place to play for the day.

Super clean, rv spaces are big enough that you aren t right on top of your neighbors. We took our golf cart so the trip to the beach area at the lake was very easy to get to(you can actually walk there too). Pool was very nice. We mostly hung out at the lake and had a good time. They are pet friendly.We had no problems with our phones and service. We used them to hotspot to our tv bc their internet service is a bit funky. All in all, we will definately so back.

We stayed in one of the Deluxe RV sites and were delighted with our experience. We come to Burnet for the Bluebonnet festival and the Resort is an easy 15 min drive from downtown Burnet. They have an excellent trail loop on the property for dog walking with plenty of doggy waste bag stations accompanied with a grassy area for play. The lake view was beautiful with my first ever sighting of a bluebonnet beach/shore! Our RV pad was completely level and you can tell each one is maintained on a regular basis. Nice pool and hot tub area, club house and individual bathrooms with showers that have good water pressure. Staff was very friendly and they even put out a MASSIVE amount of Easter Eggs for the hunt around the property for all of the kids. We have found our "home" when we come for Bluebonnet Fest.
