We travel full time and winter in the area. We have frequented Discount Tire many times in our original home town, but we have never received the level of excellent customer service and fast wait time like we have at this location. We decided to walk to Walmart for our wait time, but as soon as we started looking through the store, we were texted by Discount Tire letting us know our vehicle was completed. Great job! And thank you!

Discount Tire has been my go-to for years. Always great service. I understand I may have to wait in a line because they make sure to take care of each customer and their specific needs. Once I get to the front of the line, I know that I will have their undivided time and attention.Today was a great example of why I love this location. I pulled up 3 minutes before closing with a riding lawnmower tire that was leaking at the rim. It was raining and a guy named Jake came out to greet me from the bay. I didn t expect anything. I simply said, I know you are about to close. I don t expect anything, but what is the best way for me to fix this? Jake looked and said, I will do it right now! He took the tire. Fixed it promptly and loaded it back in my truck. I was super impressed with his attitude and willingness to help.That is the type of service that will continue to bring me back for years to come!

This place is incredibly busy!!! If you can book an appointment online I would HIGHLY recommend it. Otherwise there is a long wait. You can tell the staff works hard and they were there beyond closing time. They were able to schedule in an appointment for that day. While waiting I saw an elderly man show up late and rather than refuse them, (which they had every right to) they helped him. You do not see many businesses do that! I will say this though, have them check and double check and triple check they sell you the correct sized tires. There was a little hiccup but they corrected it to my satisfaction. I would gladly go here again in the future.

I took my flat from my trailer to fix. They told me the hole was on the outside of the belt and I would need to replace it. I did not buy the tire from them. So I took the tire to another store they found the hoke in the middle if the tire pulled the tire and fixed it with glue and a patch. Gave them 10 bucks and all is good.

If not for the tech efforts of Joshua and Brayden, I would have never used Discount Tires in the first place. The 2 hold up the 4 stars alone while there's 1-2 others involved who brought it down ALL 5 stars.

I hate leaving negative reviews. But avoid this store for dually trucks. It took two appointments and three attempts for them to rotate my rears properly. Then after driving it for a day with some odd vibrations a kind woman at a stop sign told me I d thrown my lug nut cover off a half mile back which would explain the vibration going away. So taking it home I decided to check their work with my torque wrench. Two to three nuts per tire weren t torqued to spec. I could gripe about the scraped rims and lug nut covers, but truth be told I m not worried about the cosmetics. But I am concerned about the torque. The place is busy and the management is nice. But that only gets you so far. I pull heavy a lot and I have my family with me most of the time. Hence why I felt compelled to post this.

I ve bought a ton of tires from this location. These guys are always hustling, they always aim to please, and they re always polite. Of course you ll have to wait if they re busy, just like anywhere else. But they make the tire buying experience a pleasant one. Thanks guys!

Thank you to Jake and Daniel and others I dont know who helped me with 2 tires just this morning. What a blessing! I ugly cried, seriously. Amazing group of guys who really care about their customers and bring warmth to the world even tho it's cold outside! Words can't express how grateful I am that I can now feel safe driving with my children in my car. Making the roads safer, making the world better. You guys are awesome! Had a tire replaced that should've still been covered under warranty (bought in Sep 2021). No one mentioned it or tried to measure the tread to make sure it was still >2/32". I chatted with someone today and they said they would get it worked out with this location...if this comes to fruition, I will gladly change my review!! Fingers crossed they do the right thing and give me a refund. We shall see.

Fantastic customer service! Very rarely do you go anywhere these days that displays the type of hard work and friendliness that these employees do. Definitely recommend and they ve kept our business over the years for this exact reason.

Best tire and wheel retailer in the country for sure.Every location have the same excellent customer service and have a unique individuals fulfilling that commitment.Had a puncture and came to this location, I got helped super quick even they were busy.Mason took care of the matter professionally and now I m enjoying the ac waiting on my car.Thanks for everyone that works in this great company.

Best tire shop around. Staff is friendly and very helpful. The staff always works hard and provides great quick service. If you need new tires, make an appointment and they will have your car ready in about 1 hr.

Discount tire has been outstanding for years, but this location stands out. I came in without an appointment yesterday, having some serious tire issues. The manager has gone out of his way to take care of me, in spite of the fact that they are super busy. He went put of his way to locate 37" tires and is presently knocking it out of the ballpark. A great group of guys!

Pricing and availability was good. Daniel took care of ordering the tires and then I came in the next day to get them installed. Josh was nice and helpful, but he said the car would be done at 1:15 but wasn't done until 2:45. He tried adding on a costly warranty without my permission, but luckily I'm a service advisor and know how it works so I specifically asked him about it. Also asked Josh to put on the black lug nuts I provided, but he didn't relay the message to the tech or the manager. Thankfully Daniel saved the day. Moral of the story, see Daniel if you want things done correctly

Got an inconvenient nail in my tire. Stopped into this location not hoping for much because there were so many people waiting in line. Michael, who assisted me was VERY helpful and knowledgeable. 2 1/2 and I got a new, affordable tire. Props to this Discount Tire and their employees!

I went here today because I had a flat this morning,I was really dreading this because I knew I needed tires, I changed it out with my spare...The young man who took care of me noticed how truly bad my spare was ,he also noted I really needed a pair of tires. I told him I knew this but I didn't really have the money for tires right now ( the timing couldn't be worse). He asked me WHAT I could afford and I told him.He came back with some conspicuously new looking "used" tires that just happened to be $5 under the amount I said I could afford...........I'm having a hard time typing this, because of something in my eyes!!!!!!!!!This is the best tire business in Texas!!!!!No matter how long the wait,I will always bring my business here, thank you Danny( Daniel),thank you discount tire Bulverde.Again today this location even though busy as hell. Took care of me my trailer and my truck.good job guys.Still a great storeStill the best tire store
