I must say I was expecting the worst. From dealing with Peterbilt dealers before, but my experience at this location was stellar. They diagnosed the problem which was a clutch. I was treated with respect the two service managers day and night were exceptional. They had a kid in there named Pedro a young man, who did an outstanding job the whole process took a little over two days from beginning to end thank you for your outstanding work

This is probably a great place to do business, but I wouldn't know, because nobody ever answers the phone when you try to call, and the parts guy shuts his computer off 10 minutes before closing, ostensibly so he can rush home and start downing his daily 24 pack of beer. And I'm sure I'll get the same canned response from Rush that everybody gets about how "they'd like to discuss my negative experience". Don't talk to me Rush, talk to your lazy employees about fixing the problem. Some complaints are subjective, but not answering the phone, and shutting down operations 10 minutes before closing time is objectively poor customer service.

Avoid taking your truck here at all cost! These people are scam artist! Took my truck to have the starter and the transmission looked at, they had the truck for 18 days and did 3 hours of work on it and i was told $570. But they had yet to locate the problem, so.. they wanted to bill an additional 3 hours, so i was like ok. Then after talking to a local mechanic where i live, i decided to call Rush back and cancel the additional work. Now here is the kicker, the work they did was never authorized by me! I never got a phone call asking was it okay to do any work that was outside of the warranty! They just took upon their selves to bill me $968 for additional work i never authorized!

As for taking the calls to ask for parts never but never answer the phone, I live up north in Austin and before I make trip of more than one hour I would like to make sure they got the part in stock. I been in their location and can see how they ignore the phone. It's been times that I prefer to call the Arlington location so they can tell me if they got the part number in Buda.

0 stars. The DMV is faster than the guys in the parts department & their name is rush! The guys behind the counter would have you wait while all their friends will be helped ahead of you. Then he hits the bathroom between each customer. I asked for a part, he tells me he doesn't have it. Then doesn't help me find it or give me a part#.But the icing on the cake, I go to another Rush, they tell me they have it in stock AND this Austin location (this location) had it in stocks but lied to me.Nope, sorry sales reps, I will NEVER be on the side of adding Peterbilts to my fleet thanks to the parts department.

Very bad decision to take any vehicle in for service, they wont contact you regarding approval of parts being ordered. While on the phone for clarification on why a estimate would be $10,000, they hung up. Technicians must have best work hours ever, they are never at work or just always on lunch when you call the shop asking questions. Very poor customer service within service dept, someone always seems to be upset as if you are the problem/ or upset about the information you are asking about. Please save time and money and go somewhere else

When I initially dropped my truck off it was Saturday morning 9/24 to address a coolant leak and also get a routine service. What started out as a great experience went pretty downhill. I was told it ll likely be done by 9/30 the latest. I did not find out the diagnosis until 9/29 where the dealership told me they were going to send information over to NTP, even though they said the portal said it wouldn t be covered and I told them. Essentially that torched a day because instead of a simple phone call, staff insists on only using the portal which is slow and takes hours for a response. So i had to expedite that myself by calling and getting an email sent. That meant no work could start on my truck until Friday, and I was told there were also other jobs going on and that it was started late and wouldn t be done until Monday since there would be no tech (again) on Saturday to work on it. After being told to call on Monday at 7am a service employee said it was being worked on but couldn t give me an ETA because the foreman wasn t available on the phone, so I asked when he d be in because I need to plan because I run a business I don t just own this truck for fun, so I m not sure why every time I call the staff seemed so annoyed by it. She then said that he said to just call back later this afternoon. I called back around 2pm where I was told it should still be done today, but were wondering if I wanted a primary air filter with the PM because I provided parts but not that one. Why wasn t I called or emailed that question? It took me calling? I was then not given an ETC again and was told to call back between 4:30pm and 5pm. I was able to pick up the truck finally after 6pm. The repairs were complete and so was the PM however the tire pressure is lower from when I dropped it off, windshield washer fluid reservoir is empty, and I have a low beam light out.I hate leaving reviews like this, but in this world no one cares about truckers especially owner/operators. I live in the same town as this dealer, was hoping I d have a place my truck could call home. Can t believe I was a fool to think anyone would care about a small business. I ll be doing my research and find a respectable mechanic nearby who won t rob me of my time and money.

If you can t go months without your truck and able to foot the crazy bill please do not do business with this facilityTruck was there two months all I wanted was cylinder 2 sensor fixed but they insisted on repairing other things, supposedly! (Replaced egr valve cleaned def system and replaced dpf filter cylinder 2 sensor) After two months of not knowing exactly what s going on with my truck updates, prices what exactly they re fixing and WHY they re fixing, they leave you completely in the dark, hate that you call to get updates, very bad service. I got hit with a 10k bill just to have the same problems 300 miles later dash lit back up (check engine, won t regen, all def dpf codes. I m not gonna lie. I m terrified to let them get my truck again. Called to let them know I was having the same problems and I m getting the run around again!!!(4-17-23) Finally talked to the staff to bring my truck back they told me he can t guarantee it won t be another two months (running me off) but when I called before I had my truck towed there, they never mentioned being backed up or anything, only after I got my truck there!!

Avoid this place at all costs or it will cost you your time on the road. My truck was in the shop for a month to service a problem as simple as a battery change. They also decided to fix an issue with my DEF that i had not permitted. Charge me 3500 in labor. 1500 in parts

I have to take a minute to thank the Service dept staff who showed us what Customer service is supposed to be. Our motorhome broke down about 50 miles from Austin, it took us about 8 hours to secure a heavy recker to tow us to RUSH Enterprise. We are full timers and our motorhome is our home. They assured us that they would remain open until we got the coach there. True to their word they did, they had it pulled into a service bay so they could work on it first thing in the morning. The contacted Tiffin for us, got the parts installed and got us on our way. They had to keep the motorhome for three nights waiting on the parts but they parked it under the service drive awning right next to the building and kept it plugged in so that our refrigerator contents would not spoil.Garret and Greg thank you so very much for all you did for us! You are both amazing! We will be forever grateful for how you took care of us and our home!

parts department never answers their phone and never call back after you leave a message. Looking for a new Pete store to open a new account. I have to call them everyday and my average hold time is over 10 mins...when you're a shop you have no choice to wait for parts but our $$$$ per month is about to go to someone else

Convenient for my particular location where I live but pretty overpriced in my opinion. I have been a regular customer here for about 5 years and I never have seen any good specials on anything here. This place is clean and the restrooms are usually very clean too except on occasion I can be a little nasty but not very often. The employees here are constantly changing and it sucks because a lot of them are cool and then you don't see them for a while and when you asked about them usually you hear that they quit so you won't always be seeing the same faces that often. A lot of them will often complain about owner to the customers here or you just hear them openly discussing this behind the counter amongst each other about how to ticked off they are about this or that and to me that is very unprofessional and rude as well. Also just so you know they do not accept Lonestar (SNAP) benefits here and there's only one other place in the city of Kyle that I know that doesn't except them either and that is a Valero on high road one block before Green Pastures St. but every other convenience store and grocery store do accept them here in Kyle. If you come early in the morning or anytime after early morning do expect long lines and a possible slow snail like moving line. Also if you happen to pay with change be ready to stand there for a good 3 to 5 minutes so they can count it over and over.

I worked with Rush Truck Center in the past (other locations) and had good experience, so I didn't hesitate to send my driver to replace a 2.5 foot air line on my trailer. Prior to sending my driver I called to ask for rates and made sure they have 0.5 Hr increments billing (min 0.5 Hr).Now if you are coming from my line of industry, how long does it take to replace a 2.5 FT of air hose under the trailer? 20 minutes? well, the mechanic assigned to my truck was well over 300lb and moved slower than a bear waking up from a winter slumber (no offence buddy, but I'm paying for this time). He had to jack up the trailer since his body mass was getting in the way. and just drag his feet throughout the job. I was charged 1.5Hr.Arguing with the service manager, he told me that charging less wouldn't be fair to the mechanic, and that I'm trying to rob them, and he cannot believe I'm making such a big deal for such a small job. Last I check, I was no charity organization. it's enough that I'm paying dealer rates. but this??? they were robbing me...And this is how an $80 job, at a dealer, going through a process of inflation to end up $230. Very frustrating and unfair. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Called Reuben in service about 30 miles out, apparent alternator shot. They checked had one bring it on in. Turned out an idler froze up causing belt to fray, partially work. They had all idlers, 1 tensioner, belts for my C15 Cat and I was out in 1 1/2 hrs. Greatly appreciate them getting it done so I would not miss my load in San Antonio!

Just got my truck back today. Took it in because turbo was making a weird whistling sound. They found the turbo mount gasket to be broken and replaced it along with a few missing bolts. Great! However they also fixed about 5 other things I didn't ask for! They never called to communicate with me about what they recommended or what needed to be done. So my $11 gasket + $15 shipping + labor = over $2k! Wouldn't hand me the keys unless I payed. Never going back.

Don't expect any customer service after you buy your truck. If you call in for parts or service you will sit on hold FOREVER or worse your call will br transfered to a call center. Terrible customer service.

If I could give these a holes a lower rating I would. Took truck in for dpf and somehow they managed to make it worse . On top of that the mechanic broke the bellhouseing foe one of the filters that had nothing to do with dpf avoid this joke of a repair shop at all cost .Oh and this wasn't the first time I was here and it went bad but I figured I'd say something this time

Great customer service and very helpful! Needed a part and they went out of the way to help me. Also had a special Cat coolant line and they called SA Cat to have it held till I got there.
