BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE. DO NOT GO HERE. First time taking it here and last time. My truck only needed an oil change. I went in the morning, but I was told it would be 45-60 minutes wait, so I came back later. Later I was told it would be 15-20 minutes, so I parked and waited. Left keys in the car after checking in. I waited and saw the worker move my truck to let others go. Still waited patiently. They were working on my truck for over 30 minutes. After 1 and a half hour, I finally got my keys. I pay and get ready to leave, but I notice the check engine light is on and the truck is shaking. They also didn t add air to my tires like promised even after asking so I don t leave and ask the manager what happened. He then tells me a whole story that he noticed it was shaking and the engine light was already on before the oil change. I told him if it was on, I would ve taken it to a professional mechanic. Not grease monkey. My tires were low from the cold and they said they d add air. Manager checks the computer and says it s something with my spark plugs. I told him, there was nothing wrong with my truck when I came in the morning and again no engine light was on this afternoon. He says that he noted in his he paperwork and nothing they did was wrong. He then tells me how they have 19 cameras and that I am looking to blame them for the issues. I said I m not blaming anyone I just want to know what happened because it was not shaking before I brought it in. He started blaming me for not taking care of my truck and trying to blame them. I contacted corporate and am waiting for the franchise owner to get back to me.DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE. LOOK AT OTHER COMMENTS.I ABSOLUTELY REGRET TAKING IT HERE. 3/26 Update: An hour after my review, the manager on duty called me and was very intimidating. I simply recapped what happened and the manager immediately said it was my fault. He said he was the worker on duty , the manager on duty and the Franchise Owner. An incredible human! He repeated he s not responsible. He said he gets accused of damage 5 times a week, so he s accustomed to it. I was not asking for a refund or monetary compensation. The manager is confused because I do not have family in Texas. Yes, I have an older F150, but I take good care of it and it has less than 100k miles. I have since fixed the engine coils ($3.4k). The air filter, engine bay and coils were disturbed during the oil change. Yet, my tires never got inflated. I ll update if I hear from the business.

Love, love the expediency at Grease Monkey! I was expecting to be told to schedule an appointment but they took my car in and had me out the door within 15 minutes. I just needed an inspection but boy was I glad to visit them!

I visited the Grease Monkey location in Buda, Texas with the intention of getting an oil change during the day. Despite being unfamiliar with this location, I deemed it convenient enough for my needs. Additionally, I brought my own oil and oil filter. Upon arriving at the location, I noticed that it was empty, initially leading me to believe that I wouldn't have to wait. However, a peculiar incident occurred when an employee approached my car. This individual had a noticeable circular abrasion on their upper hand, which stood out to me as I don't typically pay attention to such details. The cut appeared unpleasant and resembled the early stage of scab formation. Naturally, this made me reluctant to let this person touch anything in my car. Nevertheless, I decided to inquire about the cost of the oil change if I provided my own filter and oil. To my dismay, the employee informed me that it would cost a whopping $70. This exorbitant price alone would have been enough for me to leave; however, it further solidified my decision not to proceed with their services in the first place.

Staff broke my grill and didn't offer any type of way for compensate and its crazy because we bring all are vehicles here and Karen was very Rude after they broke it she gave it back to me and pretty much said nothing we can do and why would I pay out of pocket to fix something your employees broke and hope I get paid for my grill no this place is very ridiculous and then continue to lie on Google about what happened this people are bad business there solution was for me to pay half how is that fair when I didn't cause damage this place bucks and so do the owners

Fabulous place of business. My wife was in Buda on business with an appointment and driving my car. There was an issue with the oil light and she asked me to find a place where she could take it to have it looked at. She took the car there and they resolved this issue quickly and very professionally. Great customer service Grease Monkey!

Honestly best place to get your car serviced in Kyle. I get my oil changed monthly but I've also gotten tires rotated and transmission fluid changed. For a reasonable price. I appreciate they put your service info into the carfax database.

My service was rapid and the price was reasonable However, the work order was marked: interior vacuum/COMPLETED, and windows wash-COMPLETED. Neither service had been done. It makes me wonder if any other steps in the service process had been omitted.

Great, fast and reliable service. I got there in the morning and we're done with a oil change in less than 30 mins. They recommend services because my car had a certain amount of miles. Overall great experience!

Not impressed. Paid $133 for an oil change and tire rotation. They did not reset my oil change light in my car, while going to tell them this, I found a broken lug nut, which is very noticeable and they should have notified me about! They promised they would have a replacement by the end of day. Told my husband, he s found 3 damaged. I ve returned for 3 days and still haven t had the replacement for the first. Do not recommend.

I would definitely recommend! Fast and friendly service! I was able to get in and out during my lunch break with extra time to spare!! The staff is knowledgeable and the facility is nice and clean! Will be returning with my other vehicles

If there is a "girl" that goes by Chris, please run. She was so rude and condescending. We had to wait for the insurance card to be sent to us, so we left and came back. When she made her way to us, we asked if she had time to do an inspection. She didn't answer then sarcastically said well your insurance took so long. Then she left the vehicle went and sat down to talk to someone else.There are 2 men that we saw in the bays that were actually helpful. I don't know their names, but you can actually tell they're working because they're completely dirty up to their elbows.The 2 stars are for the guys actually working. Y'all are the 2 doing an amazing job.

FAILED SERVICE & NOT ISSUING A REFUND THEY PROMISED: My car had been working totally fine before they did a transmission drain and refill. Within a few minutes after leaving their garage, the check engine light got turned on momentarily, and the car started showing transmission issues. I went right back to them, and they took a look at it. Although they assured me all the problems had been fixed, my car continued to have transmission issues, and the check engine light went on again. I brought my car back to them the second time. I had to wait for a few days until the manager finally (after urging him to work on my car a.s.a.p) redid the whole drain and refill process and gave me back the car. The manager was apologetic and promised me a refund of $129.99 for the failed transmission drain and refill service the first time. It was 3 weeks ago, and I never received the refund. I called and texted him several times in vain. He once explained that he had made a refund, but it didn't get through. He also told me he had issued another refund, which never appeared on my credit card. I gave up on dealing with him and started a dispute process through my credit card company. They are good at doing simple tasks such as oil change. I don't trust the staff is capable of things that require more skills. I'm unhappy about their failed service and not doing what they promised to do. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THEM.ADDITIONAL COMMENT AFTER THE RESPONSE FROM GREASE MONKEY:The feedback from Grease Monkey includes LIES. My mechanic only used the diagnostic tool and did NOT drain the transmission. When your manager talked to me, he admitted that the first staff performing the transmission drain and full service didn't put in the right amount. He never mentioned the tamper seal broken. I'm appalled Grease Monkey fabricated the story about the broken tamper seal so they can blame my mechanic, who didn't do anything with my car other than running his diagnostic tool.

these guys are so so nice! took my car to get its very first oil change and I made the best decision!! The oil change took only 10 minutes for me, and the lobby was nice and clean and very friendly. The crew were nice and made me feel welcome. The day I went they offered lots of snacks and water, and even a coupon for a taco truck nearby: SO NICE! I'm coming back here next time for sure! Lovely place, lovely people.Service: Oil change

Went in on a Sat mid-morning.Needed front brake job pads and rotors!They ordered the parts and got me out by 3.They also beat my own Mechanic $$ price too!!Richard the Mgr runs a good show down there in Buda.I recommend this place in Buda!

Doesn t seem to have their stuff together, would not recommend. Went in for inspection in AM and was told inspection guy came in at 1000. Came back at 1000 and was told by someone else their guy didn t come in till noon or 100. Came back again and was told no inspections today. Better just going elsewhere.

Called the day before asking about when inspections are available. Person who answered said stop by tomorrow morning.Stop by the next morning at 9:45a. Was told I need to leave and come back because inspections don't start until 10a.Come back in 10 minutes and guy lets me know that I am now 3rd in line for inspections. Guess I could have waited and been first?Lobby fills up with people waiting around and talking among themselves about how long the waits are. Some of us go wait in our cars for a bit and check back in from time to time.After an HOUR, some people start leaving while its pouring rain. So I go back into the now semi empty lobby to wait my turn while employee talks about how slow the day is as he cashes someone out.Another 30 minutes passes, so 90 minutes onsite patiently waiting at this point. I am the only one in the lobby. The only car in the entire parking lot. And I have shown my face four times now over a span of almost two hours, with 45 minutes of that time being spent in their lobby with one other person. Guy rolls into lobby asking what I need. Said I've been here 90 minutes waiting for an inspection. You know, the guy with the very unique car parked out front this entire time with no customers left?"Sorry man, we can't do inspections today. Told a few people in the lobby about an hour ago. Sorry you weren't here."You know, you had about 20 other chances to deliver that news an hour sooner during your "slow" day.This used to be my goto place for inspections before the ownership changed since its only a few blocks away. Used to send my wife there for oil changes and inspections for her car as well. Best of luck to your business. I watched 4 other customers drive off angry as well wondering why they were upset and now I know. Customer service and just basic awareness is apparently hard to find these days. Best of luck to your business and you don't have to worry about seeing me again.
