Best repair shop I ve used in Kyle/Buda area. I use them for my business fleet as well as personal vehicles. They re always professional, flexible, & knowledgeable. You can see their company values on how they operate & that s something I consider admirable. Not the cheapest but certainly fair pricing in line with the market. I ll use them over the lowest estimate any day of the week.

This was my first experience with Christian Brothers Automotive Repair and I can t say enough about them. But first, I would be remiss, if I didn t mention two individuals in particular, Sybil and Jerry. They were both professional, but most important, cared about my situation. You can tell when people truly care. They are definitely, an asset to Christian Brothers. I now have a place I trust for my vehicle repair.

I went to the Christian Brothers to diagnose a noise coming from the front end of my Toyota Highlander. They correctly diagnosed the issue as a worn U-joint on the drive shaft. This required a new drive shaft to be installed. No problem.The issue I have is the amount that they were trying to charge me. Most people don't know much about cars and just pay the bill because they don't know any better, and the guys at Christian brothers seem very nice and honest. They said a new drive shaft would be $2000, and the labor to remove the old shaft and install the new one would be $650. This seemed wildly overpriced to me. It only takes about an hour to remove the old drive shaft and put a new one on.I ended up calling Advance auto parts to see how much a new (non-aftermarket drive shaft) would be. They said $1500. That's the consumer price, Christian Brothers would most likely get that part for cheaper than $1500, considering they are a big shop and get discounts. So right off the bat, I know they are probably upcharging by at least $500 for that part.I told Christian brothers I thought their prices were way too high, paid the $150 diagnostic fee, and took my business elsewhere.I ended up finding a new aftermarket drive shaft for $350. I called GA-automotive and the owner there happily removed my old drive shaft and installed the new one for $100. That's more then 6x cheaper then Christan brothers wanted to charge me. I couldn't believe it. I just spent $450 total to fix this issue that Christian Brothers said would be $2650.Make sure you get second opinions and figure out if what they are trying to charge you is actually reasonable. GA- automotive was very knowledgeable and reasonable.

I have used Christian Brothers on several occasions over the past few months and am always satisfied with the quality of the work and the timeliness of getting it done. They are reliable in terms of doing things correctly and on time. I have been working with Brian and he has been exceptionally helpful.

Not a good place to take your car they will scam you a diagnostic for my car almost $200 just so they can tell me what s wrong with it after that they changed a sensor but never was the problem took it back and diagnosed other parts an said maybe this is the problem, but never was the problem they tried to charge me $2500for a timing belt an chain kit. Not professionals at all. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

They replaced my starter quickly at a reasonable price.Christian Brothers also has an OUTSTANDING 3yr 36,000 mile parts n labor warranty.Which ever comes LAST!!!

We brought our car in for an oil change and to check out a noisy tire. Everything went well and I didn't feel like I overpaid for anything. Finding an honest mechanic can be difficult, so I'm glad we found one close to where we live. Recommend reservations for any type of service as it gets busy here. The website is easy to use too.

Pros:Polite and helpful staffNo complaints on the quality of the workCons:Prices have become higher than some of the competitionI'll admit, I've used this location sparingly, but the few times I have, it's been a positive experience. However, the prices for their services has risen to a point that I don't find them competitive anymore with other shops.I recently had an alignment done on my Honda Civic. They charged me $178. I couldn't quite remember what the price they had quoted me at the dealership was, but it sounded similar so I signed off on it.After getting back home, I look at the dealer quote, and they would have only charged me $120. Quite a noticeable difference.I could maybe understand it if I had a luxury car, but I most certainly do not.If price isn't an issue for you, and you want something local, this place is great. if you're looking for a good deal on car repair/maintenance services, look elsewhere.Service: Wheel alignment

Told me to drop off vehicle first thing in the morning but didn t start looking at it until 4pm. However the fit me in and fixed the issue but vehicle had to stay another day. Pretty average in terms of pricing ($160/hour for labor)

Took our vehicle to be maintenanced and to address some brake issues. Our Service Consultant, Bryan, was great and very communicative throughout the process. I felt he cared and understood our specific situation and vehicle history, and overall was great to work with! This isn t the first time we ve had our vehicles serviced here and it won t be the last. We enjoy taking our vehicles to Christian Brothers Buda, because we feel valued and appreciated as customers, and they always get the job done well in a timely fashion.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Brakes, Vehicle safety inspection, Auto maintenance, Oil change

My husbands truck died last night on his way home from football practice. Even worse it happened on I-35! We used Christian Brothers towing service and the owners had a quote to us first thing this morning. They changed his oil and replaced his alternator within a few hours. I will continue to say that I will never trust my vehicles with anyone else. They are always there to help and keep our family safe. I really can t say enough good things. If you need ANYTHING done take your car here.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

I really liked the speedy quality service. I was only without my car for 2 days. Everyone was friendly and I didn't feel pressure to fix anything at all. I also really liked that everything was streamline with the text message updates, and how you can view the reports from your phone; and how you can accept or decline what you want fixed. I plan to take my car here for any future matenance/work. I would definitely recommend this place.

They were amazing! The customer service was excellent. They got us in and out quick. The inspection was free. It helped make a crazy day better. Another shop said our tires didn't pass state inspection because they were 5 years old (and dry rotted). The tire place said they were not dry rotted and didn't qualify for warranty replacement because there were no safety issues with the tire. They recommended Christian Brothers so that we wouldn't have to pay a second inspection fee. I'll be going back as I feel I received fair a fair and accurate opinion as to the safety of my vehicle.

owner, Karl, was very rude to me last time i was there, when i was just trying to understand the best course of action for what they diagnosed my car with:blown turbo. almost $6,000. so i brought it to Eurofed for a second opinion. it was fixed $80 later. needless to say, ive been bringing my vehicles to CBA for five years now and will not be back as a result of this. bring your car elsewhere.

Nick was extremely helpful to my wife and I trying to get our car sorted out. Our engine started having problems while we were on our road trip vacation in Austin and he made sure to get our car looked at very quickly. It turns out the whole engine needed replacing but he was very helpful in allowing us to keep the car on the lot for the next few days while we figured out a solution. He even gave us a lot of helpful advice on how to handle the issue. In the end, we found a different way home and hopefully have found a way to get the manufacturer to cover the repair costs at the dealership. Nick being willing to get our car looked at much more quickly and allowing us to keep the car on the lot made it so much easier for us to figure these things out on what was the most stressful vacation we ve ever had. We are very grateful for the wonderful service we received.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Despite replacing a broken water pump, and servicing the cooling system, my car continued to leak coolant. After stating my case, Christian Brothers of Buda stepped up and shared an agreeable portion of additional repair expense. I appreciate this act of good faith and integrity. Still 5 stars!

I went to CB because I was having issues with my car after the dealership and Firestone was telling me nothing was wrong and charging me for service not being done or ever done. Come to find out by the great people here at CB what the issues were this was a major job/problem with a lot of work. I first got in same week they let me drop it off night before by mid morning I had photographs of the issues and a detailed description of all the problems with the car sent to me via text. Communication was on spot through out the process they had my car back to me with in 48 hrs Bryan and was amazing to work with he went over everything that was wrong showed me the broken parts and went over the repair showing me the work that was done. Great work Daniel !!! I have never had that happen before Bryan took me out to my car to show what was done they cleaned my engine even replaced the coolant hose for free mind you I just paid Firestone for that service. I will bring my car back to CB from this point forward if I could give 100 stars I would. They are truthful and honest people. I am thankful God led me to them I was at a loss and didn t know what to do.
