This place was great! The owners are especially nice and accommodating. The location is very convenient, close to state parks, with easy pull through sites. The shower/bathroom was very nice and clean. Their property with the horses was a nice bonus. Very quite and the other guests were very nice as well. Definitely recommend this place.Nearby activities: Lots to do close by.Safety: I felt secure there. No riff raff

We have known Larry and Machelle, since 2021 and rented a home from the until September 2023, these two are only Godly when they sit in the pew, at church, on Sunday. They talk a great talk, but in the end, they are not who they represent themselves to be. Unfortunately, we learned that the hard way. This is a very personal review, but, if you stick around long enough, you will see it s not an exaggeration.

Quiet park, owners are amazing, on-site dog grooming/boarding. Great kennel with good-sized inside/outside run at unbelievable rates. Every time I walked my dogs near the groomer/kennel they went straight to the door to say hi. Horse boarding as well. The view outside my RV was a beautiful field covered in yellow wildflowers with horses and three donkeys. I spent a month just for peace and quiet mixed with a little sight-seeing, and will definitely be going back.Nearby activities: Hill Country is loaded with things to do. I took a river cruise, went to the caverns, Fort Croghan Museum and several scenic drives. Fort Croghan was amazing, with 14 restored and furnished log cabins (and there is no charge). Of course, Bluebonnet Cafe in Marble Falls is a must do! I went three times and bought back whole pies twice. Lemon Meringue and Coconut Meringue were both to die for!

Nice laundry and showers. There is a dog kennel and groomer on site. With that in mind if you stay here be prepared for 7x24 barking. Stayed one month. Almost no TV signal and WiFi isn t the best. Owners are great people. It s a nice out of the way place to stay. Horses and really nice donkeys are fun to watch.

We recently stayed at Freedom Lives and had a great stay. It's a small RV park and it is operated by a very nice couple. Our dogs enjoyed their dog park and we made good use of their doggy daycare. After traveling for a month with two dogs, it was nice to be get out for a bit without the dogs. I enjoyed talking to the horses and the donkeys (although they didn't want to come near) and we had a road runner come visit us one afternoon. The laundry room and other facilities are clean and well maintained. There are many small communities near by and we visited Llano and Bertram. We also went to Fredericksburg which is about an hour away. Great visit! Thanks for having us.

Great little RV Resort. Owners are wonderful people. It's a fairly new park so they still are in the process of some great improvements. They have great showers, laundry room, and a kitchen area with a great sitting area to watch TV you can use at any time. They have a pit boss smoker and a 4 burner Blackstone grill free to use by all customers. There's horse boarding, a dog groomer, and pet boarding on site.

Such a nice place with a beautiful guest area to shower , do laundry or fix a meal and watch TV. If you have dogs and horses , there are really nice people that can take care of them while you visit the area . Some of the nicest people you could ever meet run this park. You will not be disappointed.

We have always rented RV's and we finally bought one. We needed a service that we could rely on for finding great RV parks. Good Sams ranks in the top 5 sites. Now to find a great place to spend the night on our test run. After reading all the reviews on Freedom Lives Ranch on lake Buchanan, we felt it would be our target landing spot.Freedom Lives Ranch??? We arrived a bit early but Larry met us as we walked in and was so friendly as he walked us to the office. There was a packet with our paperwork and everything anyone would need for a day, a week or longer stay. But, what's with the name? As we were setting up; up drives Machille, Larry's better half... Machille was the most down to earth and friendliest individual I have ever met. She didn't know my background... as a charter captain for a 5 star yacht for over 15 years.Machille gave us a complete tour of her facility while telling us the story about Freedom; a bitter sweet story. If you're traveling around lake Buchanan the only place to stay is "Freedom Lives RV Ranch", even for a night, just to hear a wonderful story about Freedom... I give them 5 STARS...and we will certainly be back! Captain Bob EdwardsShe ranks in the top 1% of the best.

Not much shade but nice newish park with good utilities and good wifi. Near both Lake Buchanan and a few small towns. Kennels are available as well as grooming. The dog park is a nice size. There is a path that goes by the horse fields. The owners are very helpful and take good care of the property.

We stayed at Freedom Lives for about 2 months and it was amazing. The owners treat you like family and were very accommodating. There is a beautiful club house with showers and washer and dryers (which was super convenient) they also offer boarding for horses and dogs. There is so much to do around the area. The Buchanan Dam is literally 4min down the road with a small public beach or you can fish at the boat ramp right there also. Theres also spots along the Llano river you can swim and fish at also ( about 10min from Freedom Lives) The camper spots are very roomy and have plenty of parking. You can also put your garbage out in the morning and they will come and throw it out. We really enjoyed our stay there.

We had a great time at Freedom Lives Ranch Rv Resort. We got to meet a horse named Scooter and a donkey named Dakota. The facilities are brand new and very clean. We kept our dog at the on-site kennel while we toured Longhorn Cavern State Park, super convenient! We will definitely stay here again.

I am so happy that I found this place! It was recommended by a local dog groomer and I absolutely loved it!! I boarded my dog Katy and immediately felt welcomed by Michelle and her staff. The facilities are clean and well maintained. This will definitely be my go to place in the future!

This is a nice central location. We went to Fredericksburg one day then several towns around the area. There was plenty of shopping and site seeing. Enchanted rock is by reservation this year. Spider mountain was a blast. You can bring your own bike or rent the whole setup with pads and helmets. We visited the lake a couple of days. Everyone was super nice at Freedom Lives RV. This is a perfect spot for horse people. You can visit rodeo and board your horses here and RV here. The only reason I didn t give it 5 stars was because we are water people and there was not lake access. Again there are Sooo many great things about the location. There is a clubhouse and a hot tub. There is a laundry room with enough washers to do all your laundry in one trip. The layout of the park is nice. The sites are pull through. Easy in and easy out even for new drivers. There was yard area by the clubhouse for young children to play while grownups rock in comfortable rocking chairs on the covered wrap around porch.

Had a wonderful stay here! Machelle and her team are so lovely and accommodating! Really made our stay special! They have great facilities. Only item to be careful is the dip in the road coming into the resort. Otherwise it s a quiet and clean place to stay!

Nice park, but don't visit someone staying there. Even if you park off the main roads, they want to charge you to park. Classy place other than that.
