Do not go here if you are short on time. Cheap oil changes but we waited over 30 minutes outside just to get checked in while workers were standing around and others moved very slowly. 1 guy out of several was working at regular pace. We were told it would be about another hour so we stayed at store. An hour later we got text that they were just then starting. When oil change was finally complete, it took a long time to get checked out and get key back. Was not a busy day. They are just slow and don't care about your time.

I just went in for an oil changed. Helped right away by Emory. He's was quick efficient and beyond super nice! He even got the bug guts from my windshield off and clean without me asking..just cuz he's got a good heart. Loved the service. Fantastic employee! Definitely deserves a raise!

Needed a last minute oil change before a multistate road trip for a funeral. The young gentleman that serviced my vehicle was extremely helpful, cordial and polite. He even stayed a little late to allow me to pick my vehicle up after closing time...and all on a Friday! Price was reasonable and there were multiple options. I recommend them 100%!

My battery (which was a 2 year one that I bought 4 years ago) finally quit on me, and I came here to see if they could charge it up, or replace it. While the wait was long (I was there for 1.5 hours), they were busy and plenty friendly. The great part about their service is that not one single person there looked down on me being a teenager, nor a woman. Since this is a common issue with other auto parts places, I was pleasantly surprised! I know more than the average person about cars, and the workers listened to my every concern regarding my problem. I appreciate the thought I was given and the courtesy of this department!

I called ahead of my visit to see if they had my sized tire in stock. They did. The price would be $117each. With all the extra service/warrenty, those same tires are now $278 each. The wait time was a 45 minute guesstamate. Drove over, waited 15 minutes. Not once did someone acknowledge that I was there. I drove away. People/customers usually don't mind the waiting, as long as they are acknowledged.

We took our car here for an oil change since this is where we typically take our other vehicles. after being there for about 45 mins they paged us overhead. When we went to the service desk they told us that they couldn't do our oil change because they didn't have the filter for our car. The gentleman outside told us that if we went and purchased the filter on our own and brought it back they could do it. A couple days after we noticed that our car was now leaking oil, something that it had not been doing before going there. When we returned with the filter that we purchased, we gave our info and told them we were going to run errands and then return. When we came back about an hour and a half later, the gentleman at the register in the automotive department was extremely rude. He stated that they did not do the oil change because we had an oil leak, and that he had been trying to page us overhead for the last half hour. We informed him that we had left our number with the gentleman who took our car info because we were leaving. At this time we told him that our car originally did not leak oil, and had only begun doing that since we came to them. He said he didn't know what to tell us, and just sent us away to talk to the techs outside. The tech we spoke with was kind, but stated that all he could do was call the manager and see if he could review the security cameras to see if someone had touched the car at the previous visit. At this point we were very upset and decided that we were done dealing with them. We will now have to pay for and fix an issue that was not happening until we went there.

Had to get tires and this older gentleman was awesome! I wished I had gotten his name, but he was such a sweetheart! I have 1 tire I got from discount tire and I hate going there for anything anymore because they try to make me buy a new tire even tho the tires I have are new. Everytime I come to Walmart they don't push anything on me that I don't need.

Where do I start from the lying or the sheer lack of competency? I was told they would start on my car in one hour. Two hours later my car still was not started on. This is after asking multiple times if the eta has changed. Two and a half hours later my car started to be worked on and they acted like they had done me a favor when they told me. Still don't know how the saga will end since we are almost done with hour three with no end in sight. Since I have all this free time I decided I would share my poor experience so others can be aware of the stupidity and ineptitude of this operation.

I went in today for just an oil change. They called me back about 15 minutes while I was browsing nearby. They said they couldn t do an oil change due to a oil leak? I know 100% that I do not have an oil leak, as I d just got an inspection done and made sure to ask them to check for one. When I went somewhere else, they noticed that Walmart didn t even put the cap back on!!! I was driving with no oil cap and oil splashed on my hood and engine. This is extremely poor service. I didn t pay anything, but be careful if you try to get an oil change done here. Check to make sure they put your cap back on and just take it to Take 5 oil change.

Took my car for an oil change. I was told it would be about 30 to 45 min. I waited for an hour before I went back to the auto section. My car was parked and the guy at the register said they parked it right after I left the the keys to them. He quickly added he called me on the speaker through out the store which was a lie. Then they failed to call me on my cell to let me know that they couldn't do the oil change. So why we give them a phone number I have no idea!!!! Then I went outside to talk to the tech and all he says is "he can't do it bc I have an oil leak" I did not have an oil leave. Then I proceeded to tell him that it's my power steering fluid not my oil. (I've had a power steering leak for about a year now) The tech then says "well I don't know what it is but I can't do it" with no concern or any kind of empathy. Really!!!!! If the techs can't tell an oil leak from a power steering fluid what else don't they know how to do. I then took it to the 2818 Walmart and they did it no problem. I will not recommend going to to the briarcrest Walmart for your car to anyone ANYONE!!!!

I dropped off my car to get its oil changed and was given a 90 minute wait time estimate. My wife and I ran some errands and came back after about 2 hours (30 minutes longer than I was told to wait) and saw my car parked, figuring that I'd given the wrong number. When I went inside they told me they had not done the oil change because they didn't have a needed bit/screwdriver (which I understand is relatively uncommon, but my dad has one in his garage and oil changes aren't his job...) and nobody had ever called me. They offered only a meek apology and did not make even a slight effort to make it right. If your car is a 2014-era small ford (Focus, Escape, etc) then don't go here to get your oil changed.I would be happy to amend this review if a manager calls me and makes an effort to make this right.

BAD SERVICE ALL AROUND!! workers are completely clueless and don t even get me started on their attitude. If I could give a zero star review I would. I will keep it nice and short unlike the time y all made me wait to get the job y all did (don t even get me started) completely and utterly wrong. Do not come to get your get your tires done here.

Brought car in for an oil change and tire rotation in the morning, and got the car back in the afternoon. Nothing to complaint. Just they overtightened the lug nuts with their air tools. It is almost impossible to loosen them using only hand tools.

I was surprised at how friendly and professional the staff was at the tire and lube center at this store in Bryan. We were greeted immediately upon arrival, and A-Aron helped get us checked in. We drove from out of town, (since the staff at our local Walmart TLE are rude, unhelpful, and clueless.) The shop was busy, so A-Aron told us it would be about two and a half hours for 4 new tires and an oil change. He told us about the McDonald's inside the store, since it was near lunch time, which I thought was a nice gesture, since he knew we weren't from there. The work was done earlier than promised, the interior was vacuumed and windshield cleaned, and carpet a protector was used. Also, as soon as we walked into the store, once the car was checked in, we were greeted with a "Good Morning" from the young gentleman behind the counter. This was NOT the typical Walmart TLE experience! Thank you for the excellent service, and especially for your professional and customer-friendly attitudes!

Never have enough help in automotive. Checking in takes 25-30! Everyone had a horrible attitude as if they didn't want to work especially the manager Jan. Excuse!! There was 1 young man that was awesome!(The Cashier)

They LOST my friends car at this walmart auto. They said she was not in the system, lost her key and parked her car who knows where. The car would not have been found unless she called 5 hours after she dropped it off to see what was taking so long, only to find out they did not know where it was who she was and a HUGE dent on the front of her car. The price is not worth the hassle and time they make you wait, not to mention the fact that they care so little that they will straight loose your vehicle.

Nobody working there actually seems to want to be there. They were confused by my car needing a hex wrench and then a second time it took them 30 minutes to tell me they couldn't find their tools to open my oil filter cap. Just go somewhere else, it's worth it to be treated well and have professionals work on your car.

I am so thankful for the guys that worked on my truck today. They found a very dangerous mechanical issue and made me aware of it. I carefully drove it to a local mechanic, and the steering was quickly repaired. Great job guys!

Did oil change a couple of times. They found a problem while doing that. Helped me a lot with that. Also changed the car battery at another time. Overall, love the service.

Today a piece of my car broke off and the 2 lovely men there zip-tied it up for me! They we re very nice and understanding! Costumer service 10/10 and they filled up my tires for free!!

i always go here to get my tires checked or to get my oil changed. Services are usually pretty quick and the automotive services men are really quick and very friendly, which is always important

The lot always looks emptywhen I get there( this last time specifically 4 cars total) , yet when I come in they tell me I would have to wait for over an hour to get in for an oil change. When I looked around at their staff (who were supposed to be working on the cars) they were just standing around talking. No wonder it takes so long.

Went to get tires for my daughter in college station and got the worse customer service ever. Go to Bryan instead, service is way better and more professional.
