Called early in the morning and they had my tires in stock for my Silverado I dropped it off and was ready after a couple hours. Happy with my purchase. Great place to take your vehicle for tires and mechanical work.

100% NO DOUBT the BEST place to procure tires in the tri-county area. The customer service at Trans Texas Tire is truly personable, considerate and extremely professional. I do a tremendous amount of business in agriculture, specific to ag flotation tires with tubes and trailer and truck tires in general. The price at Trans Texas Tire cannot be beat. The customer service is on par with a fancy restaurant. They treat you like family. I had a tire going flat on my dually. I needed it checked. Without hesitation that was done immediately, in spite of the fact that I had a 32' trailer hooked up to the truck. They simply told me to pull the truck around back, they'd get right on it and they did. I brought in one HD 235 80R 16 trailer tire that was shredded and needed replacement ASAP because I was leaving for Stamford the next morning. I also needed to order some AG tires for a trailer. I sh#t you not, BEFORE I was done ordering the set of AG tires from Walter, my spare rim was rolled up to the office with a brand new tire on it--ALL of this in less than 5 minutes. You can't make this up, talk about FAST! Every single one of the employees at this place of business is EXTREMELY courteous and professional. You can go ahead and shop around, you will not find a cheaper price on what you need. Listen to the radio add they run...at the end the jingle it says, "...you have a friend in the tire business, Trans Texas Tire." Their slogan, that is actually the truth. A+ in every respect.

I was told it would take an hour and a half to fix my flat. I left my phone number for them to contact me. 4 HOURS later I went in to check on it. I allowed that time since I knew it was Friday and they looked busy. Things come up and things happen. I wasn't really mad until I told the guy that I had been waiting 4 hours(ruined my Friday afternoon). He just found my paperwork. No apology, no nothing but he gladly took my $10. Will try other tire places in the future.

Allen and his crew are skilled, knowledgeable, friendly, and honest. They have been taking care of our tire and brake needs for over 20 years. Even though my kids have moved away, we still bring their vehicles to Trans Texas Tire when they need tire/brake work. 100/100!

Good Service !Very reasonable with drop off, call when ready and quick pick-up when I returned. Very knowledgeable and capable of explaining everything - so you understand exactly what you need, why you need it, what you can do, etc. It is NO WONDER they have been around so long and grown so much in my lifetime.

Had a low tire pressure show up while on a road trip and brownwood was the last large town I was driving through.Despite having a lot of vehicles in the shop they seem to have a guy dedicated to patching tires and I was out in about 20? Minutes or so, and it was only 10$ so it was definitely worth it. Seems like a good honest shop

They will try to scam you, dont let them. My husband called and made an appointment to have some parts replaced on my front end (both control arms, tie rods and tie rod ends) and an alignment done, they told him $400 for the work and $75 for the alignment. When I went to drop it off myself they completely ignored anything I had to say about an appointment and told me "they would put it on a lift and figure out what's wrong with it." I told them no, just fix the things we agreed on and they told me they would call me and let me know whats wrong with it again. I gave the argument up and sent my husband in to tell them the same thing I did, no work outside what we initially agreed upon. They agreed. It took them 7+ hours to get the work done. (I get this part, they are busy. I know they didn't spend this entire time working on it, they just took extra long to call me.) when I went to pick my car up and pay, they told me the total cost would be $600. I explained how I tried to tell him that I had an appointment this morning and he quoted my husband $475 for the work, asked why its so much if the initial price was $475. He didn't have any good reason for the price hike other than he never said $475 and he told me there was nothing written on the appointment slip about the price. I told him I was listening when he said that to my husband (on the initial call) and he got extremely upset and started yelling at the other people in the office over the intercom to come ring me up for $475 and slammed his phone down before he stormed off. I will not be returning, and I will be warning all of my friends and family (and anyone else who will listen) about the business practices of this place.

Great tire buying experience. My first time shopping here but won't be my last. Came in to but 2 tires and after getting a price quote ended up buying 4 and have appointment next week for brake service..my thanks to the young techs A.Holland and J. Cummins for their hard work and courteous service.

I'm from out of town, had a blow out on my travel trailer. They were very friendly and sold me a new tire we quickly. Thank you. I love doing business in the mom and pop shops instead of chain stores because I am a mom and pop business.

Did an awesome job on my headlights even cleaned then up a bit and made them look better than they were. I just was not expecting the way he changed the bulbs..if I wanted to see the lower plastic part to fly off going down bangs hiway..it seriously could have been bad, just pay attention and don't shear gaps into something if it's already jacked..I'm now missing half the covering. I really appreciate you hard work.

I had a new battery installed in my impala SS. They tested the old battery and alternator then I stalled the new battery which is a chore, you almost need to pull the engine to change battery. The work was well supervised by Allen. No wait,very friendly, and very reasonable charge. I was from out of state and very happy to find such a nice shop. Thanks Guys.

My family have been utilizing Trans Tex for years. They have NEVER disappointed in the service of our vehicles. We use them for not only tires but maintenance as well. The front desk personnel are professional, prices are fair and products are the best.I will only recommend them to anyone I talk to about tire and car care.

Arrived here from out-of-state on a work assignment from Arizona. East of Van Horn, there was a grinding noise coming from the front of my car. I pulled over and saw a plastic cover hanging most of the way to the ground behind my front bumper. I drove here with it intermittently dragging and striking the ground as I saw no open garages and had no cell reception. Called 3 places in town. Trans Tire was the only place willing to look at my foreign car on a Saturday. Service was incredible--friendly, professional, and expedient! They were gracious and didn't charge me anything for their time and saw screws. Absolutely would not hesitate to come back for their services again and highly recommend them to others. Thank you gentleman and especially Lewis and Dusty!!

Great service! I brought in a skid steer Tire 30 minutes before closing. They re-seated it for me and did not charge me. Definitely will give them my business going forward.

I was leaving for a 3-hour round trip, to pick up kids at an out-of-town camp. I found a flat tire, and was going to have to take a truck with no air conditioning to make it on time. These people said no, and went out of their way at an inconvenient time. They quickly fixed my problem, so I could make it on time in an air conditioned vehicle. They didn't have to, but they did. These are the kind of people you want to do business with.

I was in Brownwood Tx and ended up with a hole in the side wall of my tire. I looked online for tire shops and was nervous because I have high end painted rims and was worried they would end up scratched. I decided to go with trans Texas tire and I m glad I did. They got me a replacement tire in less than 24 hours. They were professional and can be trusted. I highly recommend them.

Driving in from out of town, realized I needed an oil change even though it was the end of the I was still able to get in. Super impressed with customer service by Larry, over the top customer care, friendly service. Highly recommended, 10 stars for sure!!!

Absolutely unprofessional and dangerous place to take your vehicle to. Every horror story you've ever heard about mechanics fixing one problem and creating another, or doing a poor job on purpose so you have to come back started because of this establishment. The owner is rude, childish, unprofessional, and a scam artist. I highly recommend you do not take your vehicle here for anything. You will be disappointed and taken advantage of
