I have been coming here since I bought my first car back in 2015. This is the best tire shop in brownsville period. Customer Service is always great. Nestor, assistant manager of the store, has helped me for years and is a person you see has what alot of places are missing, a Manager with great people skills and customer service. 10/10 every time. I have gone to other discount tires around the states and nothing compares to the treatment and fast service this location gives. Great place for tire service!!!

1 hr and 30 mins waiting there so they can come out and tell me they couldn t take off the lugs off my car and they didn t end up replacing the tires there, have freaking kids there that do not know how to do there job , Went to Villarreal Tire Shop on International and got both tires put on in under 10 mins not 1hr and 30 mins to tell you they can t take the tires off

Discount Tire is the best. I will always use this company for my tire needs. Always great, courteous and professional people I had a tire that was losing air. It turned out to be a faculty valve extension. They repaired it at no charge THANKS GOOO DAWGS

This location was great! Customer service was amazing, friendly and very attentive. I was told I'd be here no more than 30 minutes for a tire repair and they kept their word. The service was great, and they are following the COVID guidelines. You need a mask to go inside, if you don't have one they can provide one for you. There is a tent in the front where you can get registered and they come to your car for further instructions. Seating inside is also separated as per COVID guidelines. I arrived early in the morning so there were barely and customers here.

Made an appointment online, which made it super easy. Skip the line and was out with 4 new tires in less an hour. Customer service was great. Got new BFG Trail Terrains, I think they look sharp.

Best service I could have possibly received. EJ and coworkers went above and beyond. Had a run crack while on vacation and they were exceptionally timely on install of new rims. Thank you!

I am a loyal Discount Tire customer and have been "rescued" from several frustrating situations and tire emergencies by folks at various Discount Tire locations around Texas. I AM super grateful!However, imagine my disappointment today when a Discount Tire technician at this store stripped a lug nut while replacing one of my tires and:a) was not equipped to fix itb) referred me to ANOTHER (non- Discount Tire) shop to get it fixed with no mention of financial credit or other assistance to correct this.:(

I went because one of my tires was low on air. I has them check and the tire was fine but other tire had a nail. I told them to repair it and he said he couldnt because it already had a patch from somewhere else so i could buy a new tire. I told him ok ill buy a new tire (without considering just going to another place and patching it). He then said it better to buy all 4 tires because one will worn off & started to sell me all 4 for $900 etc. at that point i just said that ill get the cheapest ones. I totally got scammed because my tires where from the dealership when i bought my car and they were still good but the guy said they were alright at some level 5. I dumbestly bought all 4tires when i couldve just buy atleast 2. Now doing my research i had some good brand tires compared to the ones i bought in no need for all 4. He couldve just informed me and not put pressure in buying tires that i did not want nor did i need because i couldve just patched it somewhere else. Now i had to sell my old tires super cheap since they were still good but i was too dumb to know.

My Truck was in perfect condition before I dropped it off for a new set of BF Goodrich tires. Shop calls and says all of a sudden one of my wheels has a leak when it never has for the past 3 years . Then say I have bad tpms when they always worked and never had that issue . Once I picked it up they didn t even want to help me . They lost my hubcap and claimed it was missing already when it didn t . Went back to their workspace and one of the kids that works their found it on the floor. So now I magically have 4 hubcaps again wow! On my drive back home my TPMS LIGHT COMES UP . When it NEVER HAD THAT ISSUE.I need a new wheel and tpms. Worst service ever and quit hiring 17-18 year olds that still don t know how to change a tire and lose hubcaps. Can t even accept the fact they lost my hubcap and messed up my 3 year old wheel.

I normally don't give a 5 star to anyone or business but in this case I had to.I ordered my tires from Discount Tires but I wasn't able to order the Continental Tires because they were on back order so, I settled for the second best. On the day I of my appointment at Discount Tire, the employee stated that the second best tires I ordered were all gone, of course I was not happy. However the the employee surprised me when he said he has the Continental Tires in store and that I wouldn't have to pay more. I got the best tires for the price of the second best.

This is by far the worst experience we have ever had with discount tire. The actually visit was 5/5 stars. The wait was not badThe service was excellent. Brought our car in on a donut. They fixed it and replaced 2 tires with no complaints.After leaving, multiple lights starting popping up, from brake system to ABS, etc. So, we turn right around and go right back. At this time, it's after 5 pm and they are closed.The 2 people who took care of us wanted to come over, but ALEX M. came over instead stating that they were closed. We told him that we knew, but that we just left and had all these service lights come on after. He immediately started denying any fault for Discount Tire. He was dismissive and argumentative. He claimed that this had never happened to ANY customer before. I told him that it had happened to my car before and they checked the sensor and I just needed a new sensor. They had even given me advice on trying to drive it for a while and turn it off and on to see if it went away. They were great!!!ALEX M had a ignorant answer for everything. When we said we had a tire changed, he said, normally they recommend you do 2 or 4. When we said we did have 2 changed, he said, we should have had 4 tires changed. When I said all the things that were done the last time I had a light show up following service, it was like pulling teeth for him to just check to make sure all sensors were working. He was calling a different make and model for our car, showing that he had NO CLUE what was going on. Just trying to get rid of us.My last time I had an issue with my car, the staff was great, timely and courteous. They even recommended I turn off the car and turn it back on to see if that reset all the settings. After that ridiculous exchange, we left and I told my husband to try that on his car. That worked! But if Alex M continues with his approach, he will run off another of customers. They should keep him away from customer interaction.

Fantastic service. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable staff that gave courteous service and provided ample opportunity to ask questions. They even squeezed me into an earlier time slot than I had booked because they weren't busy! Great prices to boot. Highly recommended.

Did a recent reservation for full tire set purchase with warranty, The team did a fantastic job and expedient installation! Also, on a separate vehicle, did a reservation for a full tire rotation/balance, the team got my truck turned around like a nascar pit-stop! Always spot-on service at Brownsville Discount Tire store!

We needed a set of quality new tires fast and so we got there early on a Tuesday morning. The clerk told us exactly what to expect and we were out of there exactly when he said we would be. Very courteous service.My husband has been a devotee of Discount Tires since the 80's because of the business model and no matter where we go across the country, it's the same. Over time, while customer service suffers in so many industries, we keep getting the same level of customer service at Discount Tires. That's why we keep coming back.

Are usually buy all my tires and wheels from this discount tire as they have a awesome warranty and they have stores nationwide. I want to take a brand new trailer and to get certificates they refused to put them on saying the tires were too old then the second day she was a tire I need to replace on another trailer I have warranty with. They cannot do it for a week as they cannot do a store to store transfer anymore, they had to order it from a main warehouse saying shipping costs are too expensive now I asked them if I could leave the wheelbarrow. Have them repaired a tire with the new one when it comes in so I can have a family member pick it up when it is done as I m leaving out of town Which I have done in the past and they are saying no they cannot hold any customers tires anymore. That must take the tire back come back get in line and start the process all over again so I just wasted an hour literally for nothing except to order a tire That I have to waste another hour to get online just to get it repaired when that new tire comes in to be honest I think this will be the last bit of business. I give the store I will drive an extra 40-60 miles if I have to. Just not to have to deal with the issues from the store.

My experience was great this morning , I took my wife vehicle for tires replacement due to a nail on the side and other one due to damage and they replaced my tires.Thanks to Eddie and EJ they are great in customer services .

I showed up to check air pressure on Saturday 4/22 at closing (unaware just saw my light come on). Angel checked my pressure and found a likely issue with 1 tire. But they were closed now and there were plenty of customers left to help and closing/ clean up work. I had my two little girls sleeping in the back seat and asked if open Sunday, feeling uncertain I could leave safely knowing I had such a leak. Angel said I'd have to return Monday, but sensing my concern, then said to hold on while he spoke to manager. The manager let Angel repair my tire after closing. My husband was out of town and I live far away plus the Sunday closing. I stayed in the car with my sleeping girls while a literal ANGEL repaired a hole caused by a 4" screw! He working diligently and with such care. I am forever grateful to have been helped by this young man. Thank you, Angel and to his manager who let him help me. THANK YOU

Awesome experience under frustrating situation!Marcos and Jordan were exemplary professionals! I had come in with a nail in the tire, and needed it fixed. My home was still 500 miles away. They got the tire repaired and me out the door extremely quickly. This made the day a great day. I will remember this location the next time I m in town and would highly recommend it.

They got me. I came in for a fix on 1 tire, it had small 1 inch roof nail in it. They asked me if I wanted it replaced, I said no thank you . They wanted to sell me wipers, and I said sure. Total was $64.Then they took my Jeep to the back for a minute and a mechanic told me that the entire tire was ruined. From a 1 inch roof nail.Now I was looking at a replacement tire, similar to that, at upwards to $200+. After further calculations , to include mounting and balancing, I was paying $350 for the tire.Mind you, I was warned to go to other places, but no ..I have bought tires from them before at another city, so I thought they were good enough.If you have a nail in your tire and looking to patch it up in Brownsville, try .try to go somewhere else because every fixable tire is just a replacement for you.P.S. the people are nice but their integrity is sus.

I came in yesterday after work to ask for an appointment, one of the employees was kind enough to quickly acknowledge my need of assistance. Luckily they had a spot available at the time I needed for the next day. I came in on time today for my appointment, and didn t have to wait in line. Eddie was very helpful with explaining and giving a quote for several options to repair or replace two of my tires. Before I made a final payment, Eddie went over about what services were going to rendered, prices and an estimate of how long the services would take. Great customer service!
