Dropped my 2014 F150 off at approximately 9am after it threw some check lights on my way to work (brake light, abs and traction control). Left the truck there, did not have an appointment.Approximately 3pm, returned to the shop and was told they'd look at it later in the day or maybe next day. Got a rental car for 2 days and left.Next day, in the afternoon, I call to see if they'd looked at the truck, Sam was out sick, the other lady "didn't have notes". I call again, around 5pm or so and get a different lady, again "no notes". I wait on hold for about 30 minutes for an "update". Not sure what was going on but at that point I was concerned I hadn't even gotten a diagnosis so I went to pick up my truck at closing time, about 6pm.No diagnosis, no quote, no bill besides the rental car. I get it, without an appointment they're entitled to turn me away or push my repair out indefinitely. But, don't take my truck, let me take a rental car and then do nothing for 2 full business days. There are other shops in the area and actual humans need a vehicle.

Two weeks ago, I brought my car in for recall work, and after my car being there for 4.5 hours, no one called to tell me that the parts werent there, I had to call twice, then it took them an hour to install a battery, and I still haven't been called regarding parts for my car. I just called back up there and was fed a line that they are still waiting on one more part, and that they will call me when it comes in. I highly doubt it. I hate this, because I have been a loyal Appel customer for years, and have enjoyed my experiences up until now.

I can confirm what the other reviews reflect. They spew nothing but lies and have no problem letting your car sit there for 5+ hours with ZERO contact or service provided. Questioning why is just met with further dishonesty and wasted time. And to top it off my vehicle was returned with my door, steering wheel, and console covered in oil/grease. They re rude, disrespectful, and untrustworthy.
